TIRE
A pneumatic tire (10) according to the present invention includes blocks (100) arranged adjacent to each other in a tread surface view, each of the blocks (100) having a wheel tread contacted with a road surface. A circumferential edge (100f) of the block (100) is defined against an adjacent block (100B) adjacent to the block (100A) by a sipe (200). An inner side groove (400) is formed at an inner side in a tire radial direction of the sipe (200). At least a part of the inner side groove (400) is communicated with the sipe (200). The circumferential edge (100f) of the block (100A) is defined against the adjacent block (100B) by the inner side groove (400).
Tire with grooves having variable depth
A tire includes annular beads, a body ply extending between the annular beads, and a circumferential belt disposed radially outward of the body ply. The tire further includes a circumferential tread disposed radially outward of the circumferential belt. At least three circumferential grooves divide the tread into two outer circumferential ribs and two inner circumferential ribs. A plurality of rib sipes are disposed on at least one circumferential rib. The tire includes a plurality of curvilinear spline sipes, wherein each curvilinear spline sipe has multiple inflection points. At least one curvilinear spline sipe is disposed on an outer circumferential rib and at least one curvilinear spline sipe is disposed on a different circumferential rib. A localized depth of the at least one curvilinear spline sipe disposed on the outer circumferential rib varies in proportion to the distance from the rib sipes that intersect the at least one curvilinear spline sipe.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes circumferential grooves aligned in a lateral direction and extending in a circumferential direction, lateral grooves aligned in the circumferential direction and extending to cross the circumferential direction, communicating at ends with the circumferential grooves and defining a block-shaped land portion between the circumferential grooves, two narrow grooves aligned in the lateral direction and extending in the circumferential direction, communicating at ends with a lateral groove and dividing the land portion defined by each of the circumferential grooves and each of the lateral grooves into small land portions, the narrow grooves having a smaller groove width than the circumferential grooves and being formed with a bent portion in an intermediate portion, the bent portion being disposed inward in the lateral direction, and bend points of the bent portions being disposed at positions offset from one another in the circumferential direction.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire is provided with improved braking performance and turning performance on ice. Circumferential narrow grooves are disposed at a density in the tire width direction of not less than 0.06 grooves/mm and not more than 0.2 grooves/mm. Width direction narrow grooves extend at an angle with respect to the tire width direction of not less than 45 and not more than +45. The circumferential narrow grooves have at least one bent portion. The bend angle of the bent portion is not less than 40 and not more than 160.
TIRE
A tire includes block rows delimited by a pair of circumferential grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction. The block rows include a plurality of blocks partitioned by a plurality of lateral grooves extending in a tire width direction, and each block is partitioned into a plurality of small blocks by a circumferential sipe extending in the tire circumferential direction and a plurality of lateral sipes. The lateral sipes include a first lateral sipe and a second lateral sipe extending in different directions.
TIRE
A tire 1 includes a tread portion 2. The tread portion 2 includes tread ends Te, three circumferential grooves 3, and four land portions 4. The circumferential grooves 3 include one shoulder circumferential groove 5 and one crown circumferential groove 6. The land portions 4 include one shoulder land portion 9 and one crown land portion 10. The shoulder land portion 9 includes shoulder blocks having shoulder sipes.
