Tire
A tire includes a tread portion. The tread portion has a main groove extending continuously in a tire circumferential direction, and a land portion adjacent to the main groove. The land portion has lateral grooves extending from the main groove in a tire axial direction. Each of the lateral grooves has a first portion communicating with the main groove, and a second portion connected to the first portion. The first portion has a larger groove width than the second portion and has a smaller groove depth than the second portion.
TIRE
A tire includes a tread portion provided with a first land region demarcated between a shoulder circumferential groove and a tread edge. The first land region is provided with first sipes extending in a tire circumferential direction, axial sipes, and first axial grooves extending from the tread edge. The first sipes are not connected with the first axial grooves. Each of the axial sipes has an axially inner end connected with the shoulder circumferential groove. Each of the axial sipes has an axially outer end connected with one of the first sipes.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire has paired bead portions, paired sidewall portions, a tread portion, a plurality of lug grooves extending from a shoulder area of the tread portion to reach a buttress area of the sidewall portion, and a block defined by the plurality of lug grooves. The block includes a shoulder block provided in the shoulder area, and a buttress block provided in the buttress area. The buttress area is provided with an annular rib annularly extending along a tire circumferential direction. The lug grooves are comparted into an outside lug groove positioned in an outer side of the annular rib, and an inside lug groove positioned in an inner side of the annular rib. A widened portion is provided in at least part of the plurality of lug grooves so as to enlarge a width of the annular rib.
Pneumatic tire
In a pneumatic tire, a plurality of side blocks include a first side block which is contiguous with the exterior in a tire axial direction of a first tread block, and a second side block which is contiguous with the exterior in the tire axial direction of a second tread block; the first side block comprises a first apical surface which is arranged at an outer end of the first side block in the tire axial direction; the second side block comprises a second apical surface which is arranged at an outer end of the second side block in the tire axial direction, and area of the second apical surface is greater than area of the first apical surface.
TIRE
In a tire tread pattern, inclined grooves extend from a starting end in a center region including an equator toward both sides in a width direction and toward the same side in a circumferential direction to a pattern end. A periphery distance from the equator to the pattern end at an outer side in the width direction being 100%, in ranges separated from the starting end by ≤35%, from >35% to ≤50%, from >50% to ≤70% and from >70% to ≤100%, an inclination angle of the inclined grooves relative to the circumferential direction is from >40° to ≤50°, from >50° to ≤65°, from >65° to ≤80°, and from >80° to ≤90°, respectively. A circumferential-direction distance from the starting end to a terminating end of the inclined grooves is 60% to 90% of a width-direction distance.
Pneumatic tire
A tread pattern of a pneumatic tire includes continuous lands provided in half treads on first and second sides, circumferential main grooves, and sipes having a chamfered configuration. The sipes extend inward in a lateral direction from the circumferential main grooves and are closed in the middle of regions of the continuous lands. An edge shape of each of sipes on the first side includes an extending portion extending inward in the lateral direction constantly in an extension direction and a bent portion that is provided to be joined to an end of the first extending portion and that has the edge shape bent from the extension direction of the first extending portion to a direction close to the circumferential direction. Every portion of the first extending portion and the bent portion of the sipes are provided with a main body portion and a sipe chamfered portion.
TIRE
A tire includes a plurality of circumferential main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction, and a pair of shoulder land portions and one or more rows of center land portions defined by the plurality of circumferential main grooves. Further, at least one of the pair of shoulder land portions includes a plurality of shoulder lug grooves and a plurality of shoulder blocks defined and formed by the plurality of shoulder lug grooves. Additionally, at least a part of the plurality of shoulder blocks includes a notch portion that connects edge portions separated from a tire ground contact edge and a buttress portion. Additionally, the notch portion has a step-shaped wall surface in a cross-sectional view in a tire meridian direction.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire that lowers a temperature of a tread portion by promoting heat dissipation thereof is provided. On a tread surface, a narrow groove is formed extending in a direction inclined with respect to a tire circumferential direction and having a width smaller than a depth, and an inflow portion opening to the tread surface is also formed on at least one of walls of the narrow groove facing each other in the tire circumferential direction.
Tire
A tire includes a tread having main grooves linearly continuously extending in tire circumferential direction, and a first land portion formed between the main grooves. The first land portion has first transverse grooves such that each first transverse groove is extending inclined in first direction with respect to tire axial direction and completely across the first land portion, and first blocks formed between the first transverse grooves such that one or more first blocks have a first slot extending from first side surface of the first block on one side in the tire axial direction, a second slot extending from second side surface of the first block on the opposite side in the tire axial direction, a first sipe extending from the first slot and terminating within the first block, and a second sipe extending from the second slot and terminating within the first block without intersecting the first sipe.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes: a plurality of shoulder blocks that are provided in a side portion, defined by a shoulder main groove extending in a tire circumferential direction and a shoulder lateral groove extending in a tire width direction, and disposed side by side in the tire circumferential direction; a rib that is provided in the side portion, and extends in the tire circumferential direction along the shoulder blocks; and a projection that is provided in the side portion, and extends from the rib toward the shoulder blocks.
