The inboard middle portion is provided with a plurality of inboard middle lateral grooves, a plurality of inboard middle circumferential sipes, and a plurality of inboard middle lateral sipes. The number of inboard middle lateral sipes is greater than the number of the outboard middle lateral sipes.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion provided with blocks divided by main grooves extending continuously in the tire circumferential direction, and axial grooves connecting between the main grooves. The blocks include a siped block. The siped block is provided with a first sipe extending in the tire axial direction across the block, and second sipes respectively disposed in regions subdivided by the first sipe. Each of the second sipes is a closed sipe whose both ends are closed, and the maximum depth of the second sipe is less than the maximum depth of the first sipe.
Heavy truck tire with shoulder rib sipe arrangement
The present invention provides for a heavy truck tire tread having a shoulder edge, shoulder groove, and shoulder rib therebetween. A plurality of sipes are in the shoulder rib and are oriented less than 20 degrees to the lateral direction. The sipes are spaced from one another between 5 to 18 millimeters in the longitudinal direction. Additionally or alternatively, the sipes are arranged so that a reference plane extends through a sipe bottom point and a sipe top point at the average sipe line. A sipe inclination line extends from the sipe bottom point to the sipe top point, and a reference line extends through the sipe bottom point. A sipe inclination angle is defined by the reference line and the sipe inclination line and is greater than 0 degrees.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
The pneumatic tire of this disclosure comprises on a tread surface a widthwise outermost land portion partitioned by an outermost circumferential main groove and a tread edge, wherein: the widthwise outermost land portion has a plurality of side sipes extending to a tread widthwise outer side in a manner spaced from each other in the tread circumferential direction; the widthwise outermost land portion has an inner circumferential sipe and an outer circumferential sipe, the inner circumferential sipe extending in the tread circumferential direction, the outer circumferential sipe being positioned on a tread widthwise side outer than the inner circumferential sipe and extending in the tread circumferential direction; and, when h1 is a groove depth of the outermost circumferential main groove, h2 is a sipe depth of the inner circumferential sipe, and h3 is a sipe depth of the outer circumferential sipe, h1, h2 and h3 satisfy: h1>h3>h2.
Pneumatic tire and tire molding mold
A pneumatic tire includes sipes disposed in a land portion formed in a tread portion, and pin holes for stud pins disposed in the land portion. The sipes are disposed at positions where a distance Ds from the pin hole and a diameter Dp of the pin hole satisfy (Ds/Dp)4.0. A sipe in which the distance Ds from the pin hole and the diameter Dp of the pin hole satisfy (Ds/Dp)5.0 is defined as a pin hole neighboring sipe. A sipe of which the distance Ds from the pin hole is the smallest, among the sipes in which the distance Ds from the pin hole and the diameter Dp of the pin hole satisfy (Ds/Dp)>5.0, is defined as a normal sipe. The pin hole neighboring sipe is formed in a high rigidity shape having higher rigidity than the normal sipe.
Tire tread for a heavy-duty vehicle of construction plant type
A tire tread for a heavy-duty vehicle of construction plant type and aims to reduce the risk of cracking at the sipe bottom, without significantly reducing the volume of material of the tread so as not to shorten the lifetime of the tire in respect of wear. The tread (I) has transverse sipes (5) having a depth H and a width E, each transverse sipe (5) having a radially inner end formed by a bulge (53) having an end radius R, the transverse sipes (5) being distributed longitudinally at a longitudinal spacing B, the depth H, the width E of each transverse sipe (5), the end radius R of the bulge (53) and the longitudinal spacing B satisfying the relationship (R*B)/(E*H)>=1.8.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion molded by sectors divided in a tire circumferential direction. The pneumatic tire includes circumferential grooves, rows of land portions, and sipes. The circumferential grooves extend in the tire circumferential direction in the tread portion. The rows of land portions are defined by the circumferential grooves. The sipes extend in a tire width direction in at least one row of the rows of land portions. The sipes include at least one shallow bottom sipe and regular sipes. The at least one shallow bottom sipe is disposed in a boundary region including a dividing position of each of the sectors. The regular sipes are disposed at positions more separated from the dividing position of each of the sectors than the at least one shallow bottom sipe. The at least one shallow bottom sipe is shallower than the regular sipes.
