This pneumatic tire includes, on a tread surface, land portions defined by tread edges and by circumferential main grooves extending continuously in the tread circumferential direction; central sipes, in a central land portion on a tire equatorial plane, extending in the tread width direction and formed at a predetermined pitch length, the central land portion being continuous in the tread circumferential direction between adjacent central sipes; and intermediate sipes, in intermediate land portions adjacent to the central land portion on both sides in the tread width direction with the circumferential main grooves therebetween, extending in the tread width direction and being formed at a predetermined pitch length, each intermediate land portion being continuous in the tread circumferential direction between adjacent intermediate sipes. The pitch length of the intermediate sipes is longer than that of the central sipes, and both ends of the central sipes open into the circumferential main grooves.

VULCANIZATION MOLD AND PNEUMATIC TIRE MANUFACTURED WITH THE MOLD

A vulcanization mold including blades having a distal end side and pullout is performed smoothly without causing any failure and a pneumatic tire. A vulcanization mold in which a blade has a proximal end, a blade distal end side expanded in a thicknesswise direction on the distal end side, and a blade connection portion that connects the proximal end portion and the blade distal end side is a vulcanization mold in which a sweep area is the difference where a cross sectional area of the blade connection is subtracted from an area blade distal end side to a mold surface with a width equal to a maximum width of a thickness of the blade distal end side in a cross sectional shape perpendicular to a tire widthwise direction of the blade is smaller in circumferential end side regions than in a circumferential central side region of the sector mold.

A vulcanization mold is a mold including blades having a distal end side thick portion and pullout is performed smoothly by the mold without causing any failure, and a pneumatic tire. A vulcanization mold in which a blade or has a blade proximal end portion, a blade distal end side thick portion expanded in a thicknesswise direction on the distal end side, and a blade connection portion that connects the blade proximal end portion and the blade distal end side thick portion to each other is a vulcanization mold in which a blade density that is a number of blades implanted on a sector mold per unit length in a circumferential direction is lower at the blades in circumferential end portion side regions than at the blades in a circumferential central portion side region of the sector mold. Further, a pneumatic tire is manufactured using the vulcanization mold.

It is provided a pneumatic tyre, the tyre having a circumferential direction, an axial direction and an equatorial plane, and the tyre comprising: a tread extending in a tyre circumferential direction, said tread comprising at least one circumferential groove running continuously in the circumferential direction, and a plurality of axial grooves or transverse grooves running at an angle to the axial direction, and a plurality of blocks defined by the circumferential groove and the axial grooves or transverse grooves, said blocks extending radially between an inner surface of the tread and a tread surface to come into contact with the ground, wherein at least some of the blocks comprise at least one wavy groove that extends from a circumferential groove inwardly into the block, and wherein the wavy groove has a depth extending radially from the tread surface to come into contact with the ground towards the inner surface that ends above the inner surface (26) of the tread.

Tire

A tire comprises a tread portion comprising at least one circumferentially continuously extending main groove, and a land portion divided by the above-said at least one main groove, wherein the land portion is provided with straight sipes and curved sipes each extending in the tire axial direction.

Tread for a heavy goods vehicle tire

Tread (1) for a heavy-duty vehicle tire having a total thickness corresponding to the thickness of material to be worn away during running, this tread having, in the new state, a tread surface (10) intended to come into contact with a roadway when running. The tread comprises at least one hidden cavity (2) forming a new groove opening onto the tread surface after a predetermined amount of partial wear. Cavity (2) comprises two opposite lateral walls (21, 22) connected together by bottom (23) radially towards the inside and by crown part (24) radially towards the outside. Crown part (24) is provided with a plurality of fine grooves (25) extending radially towards the outside from crown part (24) delimiting the cavity and extending in a direction that makes an angle at least equal to 40 degrees with the main direction of cavity (2).
