MOTORCYCLE TIRE
Provided is a technology for inhibiting the occurrence of uneven wear at shoulder-side edges of blocks in a motorcycle tire having a block pattern. A motorcycle tire (100) includes plural blocks (11) and (12) that are arranged on a tread ground-contact surface. In a tire widthwise cross-section of a tread portion (1), when regions obtained by bisecting a tread half-width region measured along the tire surface from a tire equator CL to a tread ground-contact end TE are each defined as a tread center portion Tc and a tread shoulder portion Ts, a middle block (12) among the plural blocks, whose outer wall surface (12A) on the tire width-direction outer side is positioned in the tread shoulder portion Ts, is configured such that an upper end portion is chamfered only for the outer wall surface (12A) and a chamfered part (12B) is thereby formed on the middle block (12).
Tread for a tire
A tread (12) for a tire (10) which has a tread surface intended to contact a road surface during running. The tread (12) has at least one cavity opening onto the tread surface when new, called external cavity (14), which has length L, width W and central plane P. The external cavity (14) has bottom (16) and at least two opposite lateral walls (18a, 18b) extending from bottom (16) and a mechanism (20) for ejecting stones during running, which has two protuberances (22a, 22b) from bottom (16) of external cavity, which are disposed at least partially opposite one another at a distance d. Each protuberance (22a, 22b) is inclined respectively from a lateral wall (18a, 18b) of the external cavity (14) towards the central plane P. The distance d between the two protuberances (22a, 22b) is less than or equal to 10% of width W of external cavity (14).
Tire
A tire includes a tread portion including a row of blocks arranged in a tire circumferential direction divided by lateral grooves. Each block includes a block tread surface, a first block sidewall surface located on a leading side in a rotation direction of the block, and a leading-side corner portion between the block tread surface and the first block sidewall surface. The leading-side corner portion includes a first portion and a second portion extending in a tire axial direction. The first portion is formed sharper than the second portion. In a plan view of each block, an angle 1 of the first portion to the tire circumferential direction is larger than an angle 2 of the second portion to the tire circumferential direction. Each lateral groove has a groove width (A) at the first portion that is larger than a groove width (B) at the second portion.
Utility vehicle tyres
The invention relates to a utility vehicle tire tyre having a tread with at least one circumferential channel (2, 2, 2) with a channel base (5) and channel walls (4, 4). Base elevations are formed on the channel base. A top surface (8, 8, 8) of the base elevations (7, 7, 7) slopes downward uniformly toward the surface edge, wherein the channel walls (4, 4) have, to the side of the base elevations (7, 7, 7), wall sections (4b, 4b) which are convexly curved toward one another.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
The pneumatic tire according to the present embodiment includes a central land portion that is formed on the other side of the shoulder main groove in the tire width direction, and a plurality of inclined grooves that are provided in the central land portion at intervals in the tire circumferential direction. The inclined groove is a groove in which one end is open to the shoulder main groove and the other end terminates in the central land portion, and extends in a direction inclined with respect to the tire circumferential direction, and a length along the tire circumferential direction is 90% or more and 180% or less of a ground contact length on the tire equator when a normal load is applied.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
The pneumatic tire according to the present embodiment includes a shoulder land portion that is formed between a ground contact end and the shoulder main groove, a central land portion that is formed on the other side of the shoulder main groove in the tire width direction, a plurality of first inclined grooves that are provided in the central land portion at intervals in the tire circumferential direction, and a plurality of second inclined grooves that are provided in the shoulder land portion at intervals in the tire circumferential direction. The first inclined groove of which one end is open to the shoulder main groove and the other end terminates in the central land portion extends in a direction inclined with respect to the tire circumferential direction, and the second inclined groove is open to the shoulder main groove and provided on an extension of the first inclined groove.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire that includes a tread surface 1 including: two or more main grooves 3; and a pair of middle block rows 22, wherein one or more first middle blocks in the plurality of middle blocks each have a middle block inclined side wall surface 223 that faces an outer main groove in the pair of outer main grooves and that gradually inclines inwards in a tire radial direction as the middle block inclined side wall surface extends outwards in the tire width direction, and the middle block inclined side wall surface forms an acute angle ?223 of 30? to 50? with respect to a normal of the tread surface at an inner end in the tire width direction of the middle block inclined side wall surface.
TYRE
A tyre includes a tread portion having a tread surface provided with grooves extending in a tyre axial direction.
