Tire
A tire includes a pattern portion that is formed on a tire surface and in which ridges are arranged in a nest shape having a center point, the ridges including ridgelines CL having a curved portion in plan view, in which a height of each of the ridges is from 0.2 mm to 0.5 mm, and adjacent ridges are arranged at a constant pitch of from 0.15 mm to 0.35 mm.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a shoulder block in which first shoulder blocks and second shoulder blocks are alternately aligned. Each first shoulder block has a first edge that is on the outer side in a tire axial direction of a tread surface of the first shoulder block. Each second shoulder block has a second edge that is positioned on the outer side in the tire axial direction of a tread surface of the second shoulder block and more toward the inner side in the tire axial direction than the first edge.
Heavy truck tire tread and heavy truck tire
A heavy truck tire tread (2) having a longitudinal direction (LgD), a lateral direction (LtD), a tread depth direction (TdD), a ground contact surface (CS) and a pair of opposing tread shoulders (3, 4) spaced apart along the lateral direction is provided. The tread has a shoulder zone (SZ, SZ′) adjacent each tread shoulder of the pair of opposing tread shoulders, the shoulder zones consisting of blocks (5, 6) adjacent to each other along the longitudinal direction and separated by lateral grooves (7, 8). A center zone (CZ) is defined between the shoulder zones. The center zone is decoupled from both shoulder zones by at least one longitudinal sipe (11) or groove, and each lateral groove (7) in a shoulder zone (SZ) is directly connected to an opposite lateral groove (8) in the opposite shoulder zone (SZ′) by a lateral sipe (10) of the center rib.
Tire Tread Comprising Wavy Grooves and Sipes
Tread with longitudinally oriented grooves (31, 41, 42) at least one is wavy (31) opening onto tread surface (10), at least one rib (21) oriented in the longitudinal direction and delimited by (31) with external cavities (311) opening to tread surface and internal cavities (312) hidden within the thickness of the tread, cavities (311) opening onto the surface (10) when new with a contour (310) having farthest-spaced endpoints A and B separated by a distance Lm, the rib (21) of width Ln having transverse sipes (5), made at a mean pitch Pi, where the length Lm of contour (310) of cavity (311) is equal to or greater than an integer multiple N of the pitch Pi times an amount at most equal to 25% of this integer multiple N of the pitch Pi, when new, N+1 transverse sipes (5) of rib (21) open into cavity (311) bordering the rib.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises: a first block 71 located on a tire equatorial plane and having a recess 62 that inclines with respect to a tire width direction; and a second block 72 located to face the recess of the first block.
UTILITY VEHICLE TYRES
The invention relates to a utility vehicle tyre having a tread with at least one circumferential channel (2, 2′, 2″) with a channel base (5) and channel walls (4, 4′), wherein base elevations (7, 7′, 7″) are formed on the channel base (5) in a manner distributed over the circumference and acting centrally as stone ejectors, with a height (h.sub.1, h.sub.3) of 25% to 60% of the profile height (T.sub.1) and a greater extent in the circumferential direction than in the axial direction, which base elevations (7, 7′, 7″) either contact the channel walls (4, 4′) or are at distances (a.sub.1) of up to 4.0 mm therefrom in the axial direction and are bounded in the radial direction by a top surface (8, 8′, 8″) having an encircling surface edge, wherein the channel walls (4, 4′) between the base elevations (7, 7′, 7″) have wall portions (4a, 4′a) which converge toward each other.
