Tire condition monitoring system, transmitter, and receiver
A tire condition monitoring system includes transmitters that are respectively attached to wheel assemblies of a vehicle. Each transmitter includes a power source, a data generating section, a storage section that stores a correspondence relationship in which ranges obtained by dividing possible values of the detection value of a traveling state detecting section are respectively assigned to a plurality of specific angles set for the rotation angles of the wheel assemblies, and a transmission control section capable of performing specific angle transmission in which the transmission control section transmits the transmission data from the transmitting section when detecting that the rotation angle of the wheel assembly is any of the specific angles. When performing the specific angle transmission, the transmission control section transmits the transmission data when detecting that the rotation angle is the specific angle that corresponds to the detection value of the traveling state detecting section.
TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR IDENTIFICATION METHOD, APPARATUS AND DEVICE
The present invention provides a tire pressure sensor identification method, apparatus and device. The method includes: sending an activation signal to a to-be-detected tire pressure sensor, till receiving a feedback signal sent for the activation signal by the to-be-detected tire pressure sensor, where the feedback signal includes feature information of the to-be-detected tire pressure sensor; and identifying the to-be-detected tire pressure sensor according to the feature information. The present invention implements automatic scanning of the tire pressure sensor and can accurately identify the tire pressure sensor according to a scanning result, thereby improving activation efficiency of the tire pressure sensor.
Wheel Pressure Adjustment Assembly
A wheel pressure adjustment assembly includes a valve unit that is fluidly coupled to a vehicle wheel. The valve unit is actuatable in an open condition for passing air therethrough to deflate the vehicle wheel. The valve unit is actuatable in a closed condition for inhibiting air from passing therethrough to retain air pressure in the vehicle wheel at a selected pressure. The valve unit is actuatable into an inflating condition for passing air into the vehicle wheel. A compressor is coupled to the valve unit and the compressor is turned on when the valve unit is actuated into the inflating condition. In this way the compressor inflates the vehicle wheel.
SENSOR ASSEMBLIES AND SYSTEMS FOR MONITORING A DYNAMIC OBJECT
Sensor assemblies and systems comprise a housing configured with an electrical sensor device retained therein to protect the sensor device. The housing may include display indicia relating to some aspect of the sensor assembly. The electrical sensor device include electrical components useful for the purpose of monitoring and transmitting desired data relating to operating parameters/conditions of the dynamic article that the sensor assembly is attached with. The data is transmitted wirelessly from the electrical sensor device. The housing is removably attached with a retaining member that is also attached with the dynamic article or an element connected thereto. A receiver external from the dynamic article receives the data to determine such operating parameter/or conditions, when the dynamic article is a vehicle tire, as outside diameter, tread depth, pressure, radial load, vehicle camber and/or toe alignment variations, and tire/vehicle location, which may be stored.
Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) module, system and method of acknowledging data transmissions for TPMS
A method of acknowledging data transmissions for a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor module includes generating tire pressure information based on measuring an internal air pressure of a tire; selectively operating a transceiver in an advertising mode and a standby mode; transmitting, by the transceiver, a message including the pressure information while in the advertising mode; on a condition that the transceiver receives, in the advertising mode, an acknowledgement in response to the transmitted message, setting the transceiver into the standby mode; while the transceiver is in the advertising mode and on a condition that the transceiver does not receive any acknowledgement in response to the transmitted message within a waiting period, instructing the transceiver to retransmit the message via a command; and retransmitting the message, by the transceiver, in the advertising mode after the waiting period in response to the command.
POSITION SENSING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LOCATING TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SENSORS USING CORRELATION TO WHEEL END SENSORS
A sensing system for a vehicle includes wheel end sensors (WES), each WES proximate to at least one predetermined tire and configured to sense angular data, including at least one of angular position, angular velocity, angular acceleration, and/or angular displacement. The system includes a plurality of tire pressure monitoring (TPM) sensors, each TPM sensor inside one of the tires and configured to sense pressure, temperature, and angular data within said tire. The sensing system is configured to compare the angular data sensed by each WES to the angular data sensed by each TPM sensor to automatically identify, for each TPM sensor, a corresponding WES, and based on the position on the vehicle of the predetermined tire of the corresponding WES, identify the position on the vehicle corresponding to said TPM sensor.
TYRE MONITORING DEVICE AND METHOD
A tyre monitoring device configured to be mounted on a wheel is described. The device includes a pressure sensor for sensing an inflation pressure of a tyre on the wheel; a wireless communication interface configured to receive data indicative of a command to indicate tyre pressure; a storage storing a predetermined pressure value; an indicator configured to provide a first indication and a second indication, wherein the first indication is different from the second indication; and a processing system configured to operate the indicator to provide the first indication or the second indication responsive to receipt of the command to indicate tyre pressure, and based at least in part on the inflation pressure and the predetermined pressure value.

A tire pressure monitoring device can include: a magnetic sensor configured to measure a first magnetic field intensity in a first direction, and to measure second magnetic field intensity in a second direction; and a controller configured to control a state of the tire pressure monitoring device based on a variation of the first magnetic field intensity and a variation of the second magnetic field intensity.

A tire system includes a tire-side device and a vehicle-body-side system. The tire-side device may be attached to a tire included in a vehicle. The vehicle-body-side system may be attached to a body of the vehicle. The tire-side device may output a detection signal corresponding to each of a plurality of types of detection targets. The tire-side device may perform processing of the detection signal and generate the data related to the detection target. The tire-side device may perform bidirectional communication with the vehicle-body-side system and transmit the data to the vehicle-body-side system. The vehicle-body-side system may perform bidirectional communication with the tire-side device and receive the data. The vehicle-body-side system may acquire the detection result for the detection target based on the data.
