Adjustable butt and reel seat for a fishing rod
An adjustable fishing rod butt includes a first elongate member hingeably attached to a second elongate member. The first elongate member includes an opening on a bottom surface thereof extending at least into an interior thereof, and an alignment locking member secured about the opening on the bottom surface thereof. The alignment locking member includes an opening coaxially aligned with the opening in the first elongate member. The second elongate member includes an adjustable reel seat portion on an upper surface, and an angle positioning arm extending from a bottom surface and oriented to be received by the openings in the first elongate member and the alignment locking member. A locking pin locks the angle positioning arm to provide the butt with a specific angular relationship.

A GRIP ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A grip adjustment system comprising: a sleeve positionable, in use, on an object configured to be gripped by a user. The system also comprises a distributed array of actuators, each actuator being arranged to actuate a respective portion of the sleeve between a first position and a second position in response to an actuation signal; and a processor. The processor is operable to: receive a pressure distribution and an event quality indicator corresponding to an event of interest; determine an optimal grip based on the pressure distribution and the event quality indicator; select an actuator, of the distributed array of actuators, to be actuated based on the optimal grip; transmit the actuation signal to the actuator such that the shape of the sleeve is changed and the grip of the user is adjusted.
REEL SEAT GRIP MEMBER, HANDLE MEMBER FOR FISHING ROD, AND FISHING ROD
A reel seat grip member is disposed on a rod body on which a reel leg placing portion on which a reel leg is placed is formed, and extends so as to surround an upper portion and a side portion of a nut portion of at least a moving hood among hoods for fixing the reel leg and so as to surround a part of the rod body in a circumferential direction over a fairing portion.

Fishing rod butt
A fishing rod butt is provided with a first segment and a second segment and a hinge assembly coupled between the first segment and the second segment. The hinge assembly includes a first joint portion and a protrusion extending perpendicularly from the first joint portion. The protrusion includes a second joint portion forming a right angle between the first joint portion and the second joint portion. An angle-selector grip extends from the second joint portion of the protrusion into a cavity formed within a bottom side of the second segment. The angle selector-grip includes a locking pin pinhole in coaxial alignment with pinholes disposed on each side of the second segment. The first segment pivotally attaches to the second segment and the angle selector grip lockably repositions the first segment to the second segment via a locking pin.

Fishing rod handle
Handles, apparatus devices, and methods for clamping and using an extra handle onto fishing rods that provides enhanced leverage while holding the existing elongated handle on the rod between clamps on the extra handle, as well as being used for carrying the rod before and after it is being used. The extra handle has bent member between two clamp ends with an inner generally wide flat smooth face, and lower and upper smooth perimeter edge surfaces, that provide a comfortable surface against the back of the hand of the fisherman and helps provide leverage to the fisherman while fishing with the rod and carrying the rod before and after use.
