The transmitter has: a sensing device having a pressure sensor outputting a detection signal related to a tire pressure of each of the plurality of wheels and an acceleration sensor detecting an acceleration including a centrifugal acceleration caused by rotation of the wheel and a gravitational acceleration; a first controller performing signal processing on the detection signal of the pressure sensor and creating a frame storing data related to the tire pressure; and a radio wave transmitter transmitting the frame. The receiver has: a radio wave receiver receiving the frame; and a second controller detecting a tire pressure based on the data related to the tire pressure stored in the received frame.
Dynamic tire pressure sensor system for a bike
A dynamic tire pressure sensor system for a bike comprises a dynamic tire pressure sensor device and a user receiving carrier wherein the dynamic tire pressure sensor device comprises at least a tire pressure sensor module, a processing module and a transmission module: the tire pressure sensor module transmits tire pressure change data to the processing module; the processing module either performs data operation independently or transmits tire pressure change data to the user receiving carrier from the transmission module for data operation in order to analyze pedaling cadences and pedaling forces during cycling and provide/display real-time sports information on the user receiving carrier.
TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR MODULES, TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM, WHEEL, METHODS AND COMPUTER PROGRAMS FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION RELATED TO A TIRE PRESSURE
A first tire pressure sensor module is configured to provide information related to a pressure of a tire of a vehicle and comprises a pressure sensor configured to determine the information related to the pressure of the tire. The pressure module further includes a controller configured to selectively operate the tire pressure sensor module in an active state and in an inactive state, wherein an energy consumption of the tire pressure sensor module is lower in the inactive state than in the active state. The controller is further configured to control an output of the information related to the pressure of the tire in the active state, and operate the tire pressure sensor module in the inactive state based on determining that information related to a velocity of the tire indicates a velocity above a threshold.
Tire Monitoring Device and System for Use with a Vehicle on Board Stability Control System
A tire monitoring device comprising a sensor for monitoring a tire parameter and a first controller for controlling the operation of the device. A measurement apparatus is provided for generating parameter measurement data from the sensor output signal. A second controller is provided for controlling the operation of the measurement apparatus. The second controller communicates parameter data to the first controller based on the measurement data. The device is particularly suited to monitoring tire pressure and detecting tire burst events.
Advanced Tire Monitoring System
A tire pressure monitoring system comprising a tire pressure monitoring device for mounting on an internal surface of a tire and including a pressure sensor for monitoring the fluid pressure in the tire. The system has an RFID tag located on the tire separately from the tire pressure monitoring device. In response to detecting a tire pressure event from monitoring the fluid pressure of said fluid, the tire pressure monitoring device causes the RFID to transmit data, which is received by the tire pressure monitoring device.
TIRE SENSOR-BASED ROBUST ROAD SURFACE ROUGHNESS CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A road classification system for determining a road surface condition includes a model having as an input changes in the measured axle vertical acceleration of the vehicle. The model further uses a sensor-measured tire inflation pressure and a tire construction type ascertained from a tire-based identification tag.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM AND APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A method for controlling a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in a vehicle includes: measuring an air pressure of each tire included in the vehicle; and determining whether the air pressure of at least one tire is lower than a warning threshold level. When the at least one tire has a lower pressure than the warning threshold level, warning sign is provided regarding a tire having a hysteresis air pressure which is ranged between the warning threshold level and a normal pressure level.
Assistance method for adjusting the pressure of a tire fitted to a wheel mounted on a motor vehicle
An assistance method for adjusting the pressure of a tire mounted on a wheel of a motor vehicle having an electronic module adapted to transmit, to an on-board central unit in the vehicle, signals including data representing the pressure of the associated tire, this assistance method includes, in the first place, during an action of adjusting the pressure of a tire, determining, after receiving a number n of initial measurement signals, where n2, the gradient or slope Cd of the straight line representing the variation of the measured value Pm(t) of the pressure as a function of time. Next, on receiving each subsequent measurement signal, the remaining time required to obtain the setpoint pressure Pc is deduced from the ratio |Pc-Pm(t)|/Cd, and, on the expiry of this remaining time, initiating a procedure for managing the cessation of the pressure adjustment, and signaling the end of the adjustment.

AIRCRAFT TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM
A monitoring system, having a processor, provides pressure warnings associated with a tire of an aircraft When the aircraft is stationary, the processor operates in a maintenance mode and receives a first pressure measurement indicating a pressure of the tire; compares the first pressure measurement with a maintenance mode low pressure threshold, and causes the flight deck display to display a low pressure warning associated if the first pressure measurement is below the maintenance mode low pressure threshold. When the aircraft is in motion, the processor operates in a flight mode and receives a second pressure measurement indicating a pressure of the tire, compares the second pressure measurement with an abnormal pressure threshold which is lower than the maintenance mode low pressure threshold, and causes the flight deck display to display an abnormal pressure warning if the second pressure measurement is below the abnormal pressure threshold.
