The stem main body has a side surface through-hole laterally penetrating the stem main body and closed with an end portion of the inner sleeve, the side surface through-hole providing the external electrode of the second conductive member.

The first lamellae have a first hole extending substantially perpendicularly to a major surface of the first lamellae and the second lamellae have a second hole extending substantially perpendicularly to a major surface of the second lamellae. The first and second holes are aligned when the first and second lamellae are interleaved. The pin is inserted into the first and second holes to secure the adapter and the valve stem together and to allow rotational movement of the adapter and the valve stem around a longitudinal axis of the pin such that the valve stem is positionable at different angles to the electronic module.

The vehicle tire inflation system comprises an air jacket and an air hose. The air jacket may reside within a wheel of a vehicle and may be mounted to the inside of a rim of the wheel. The air jacket may determine that a tire of the wheel has at least partially deflated by sensing that tire pressure within the wheel has dropped below a first pressure threshold. The air jacket may release compressed air within the wheel until the air jacket senses that the tire pressure has reached a second pressure threshold such that the tire may be reinflated. The air hose may be configured to couple the air jacket to a tire pressure monitoring system such that the air jacket has access to an external air supply located outside of the wheel via the tire pressure monitoring system.

The invention relates to the field of tire pressure detection technologies, and discloses a tire pressure sensor including: a valve assembly including a mounting portion and an elastic telescopic structure mounted to the mounting portion, the elastic telescopic structure elastically extending and retracting on at least one side of the mounting portion; a sensor assembly having two opposite clamping surfaces, at least one of the two clamping surfaces being provided with a locking hole, the mounting portion being located between two of the clamping surfaces, and the elastic telescopic structure being inserted into the locking hole. After the elastic telescopic structure is shortened, the mounting portion of the valve assembly may be inserted between the two clamping surfaces. When the mounting portion of the valve assembly is located between the two clamping surfaces, the elastic telescopic structure may be extended and inserted into the locking hole automatically, so that the valve assembly and the sensor assembly may be installed conveniently, and no additional tools are required.

The tire pressure monitor also includes a liquid within the sealed pressure chamber. Translation of the piston causes the liquid to apply pressure to a pressure sensor. The pressure sensor is mounted within the sealed pressure chamber, and is configured to detect the applied pressure.
