Portable Restroom Trailer and Method of Securing a Portable Restroom to a Trailer
A portable restroom trailer includes a frame, a substantially planar surface formed on the frame, a tube secured to the frame, and a securing member that includes a top portion and post portion. The top portion of the securing member is disposed atop an extension portion of a portable restroom and the post portion is disposed in the tube such that the extension portion is entrapped between the top portion and the planar surface.
POWERED TRAILER HITCH
A trailer hitch system for coupling a vehicle to a trailer including a housing, a shaft coupled to the housing and being configured to be received within a receiver coupled to the vehicle, a mounting structure including a swing arm extending therefrom, the swing arm being coupled to the housing such that the swing arm can pivot relative to the housing, and an actuator coupled to (i) the housing such that the actuator can pivot relative to the housing and (ii) the swing arm such that movement of the actuator causes corresponding movement of the swing arm between a first position and a second position, thereby aiding in coupling the trailer to the vehicle.
HITCH ASSEMBLY FOR A WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle includes a first ground-engaging implement and a second ground-engaging implement connected to a chassis. The first ground-engaging implement moves within a first movement envelope with respect to the chassis, and the second ground-engaging implement moves within a second movement envelope with respect to the chassis. A lift arm is connected to the chassis and positioned between the first and second ground-engaging implements. The lift arm moves along a range of movement between a raised position and a lowered position. The lift arm is entirely positioned outside both of the first movement envelope and the second movement envelope within the entire range of movement between the raised position and the lowered position, such that the lift arm is permitted to move along the entire range of movement between the raised position and the lowered position without abutting the first movement envelope or the second movement envelope.
Adjustable Weight Distribution Hitch System
A weight distribution hitch system used with a hitch on a vehicle and a trailer, the system comprising a jack with a foot and a motor configured to raise and lower a front portion of the trailer; a moment bar with a forward end attached to the hitch so as to pivot about a generally vertical axis, and a rearward portion, the moment bar configured to exert a forward moment on the vehicle in response to an upward force on the rearward portion; an engagement member configured to increase the upward force on the rearward portion of the moment bar upon movement of the jack in one vertical direction and to decrease the upward force upon movement of the jack in an opposite vertical direction; a sensor configured to determine at least one of current and voltage across the motor, to thereby infer the upward force on the rearward portion; and a switch configured to turn the motor on or off depending on the inferred upward force is disclosed.
Weight Distribution Hitch System with Sway Reduction
A weight distribution system used with a hitch on a vehicle and a trailer, the weight distribution system comprising a moment bar with a forward end attached to the hitch so as to pivot about a generally vertical axis, the moment bar extending rearwardly along a center longitudinal plane of the trailer toward a rearward portion, the moment bar configured to exert a forward moment on the vehicle in response to an upward force on the rearward portion; a bracket attached to a trailer frame element, wherein the bracket is above the first rearward portion and further from the center longitudinal plane of the trailer than the rearward portion; and a tension member combined with a tension mechanism so as to increase and decrease a tensile force between the bracket and the rearward portion, to thereby increase and decrease the upward force on the rearward portion whereby sway of the trailer is reduced by biasing the system back to the centerline when the vehicle and trailer are out of alignment is disclosed.
Weight Distribution Hitch System with Engagement Member
A weight distribution system used with a hitch on a vehicle and a trailer, the weight distribution system comprising a jack with a foot attached to and configured to raise and lower a front portion of the trailer; a moment bar with a forward end attached to the hitch so as to pivot about a generally vertical axis, and a rearward portion, the moment bar configured to exert a forward moment on the vehicle in response to an upward force on the rearward portion; an engagement member positioned between the jack and the rearward portion, whereby the jack can exert the upward force on the rearward portion; wherein the engagement member comprises at least one arced surface whereby the engagement member maintains the upward force on the rearward portion despite vertical or horizontal pivoting between the vehicle and the trailer is disclosed.
Weight Distribution Hitch System with Barrel Coupling
A weight distribution hitch system comprising an attachment member with a forward end configured to rigidly attach to a vehicle and a rearward end extending rearwardly toward a trailer, the rearward end comprising an upper portion with a ball mount configured to pivotably attach to a trailer coupler; a lower portion with a barrel coupling allowing pivoting about a vertical access, but not allowing pivoting about a horizontal access; and a moment bar comprising a moment bar forward end fixedly attached to the barrel coupling and a moment bar rearward end wherein the moment bar imparts a forward moment on the vehicle when an upward force is applied to the moment bar rearward end is disclosed.
Hitch-mounted robot systems
Hitch mounted robot systems and methods for operating the same are disclosed. A hitch mounted robot system includes a coupling mechanism that is insertable into a hitch receiver on a vehicle and a height adjustment mechanism coupled to the coupling mechanism. The height adjustment mechanism automatically moves the coupling mechanism in a system vertical direction to lift the hitch mounted robot system off a ground surface when the coupling mechanism is inserted into the hitch receiver.
PICK-UP HITCH ASSEMBLY
Provided is a pick-up hitch assembly for connection to a vehicle. The pick-up hitch assembly includes a swing frame having a first end configured to be coupled to the vehicle and a second end, a slide frame movable relative to the swing frame between a retracted position and an extended position, and an electrically powered actuator assembly configured to be coupled to the vehicle and being coupled to the swing frame at the second end of the swing frame. The actuator assembly is configured to move the swing frame between a raised position and a lowered position independent of movement of the slide frame and of a three-point hitch.
Vehicle Hauling Apparatus
A vehicle hauling apparatus for hauling a second vehicle with a first vehicle includes: a hitch bar for attaching the apparatus to a hitch receiver; a first rail mounted and arranged vertically to the hitch bar; a second rail mounted and arranged to slide vertically along the first rail; a jacking mechanism connecting the first rail to the second rail so as to lift and lower the second rail; a first element of a pivot attached to the second rail; a wheel cradle in which a tire of the second vehicle may be seated; and a second element of the pivot attached to the wheel cradle; whereby the tire of the second vehicle may be rolled along a ground surface into the wheel cradle while the wheel cradle rests on the ground surface and then be raised into a position for hauling by the jacking mechanism.
