Rotary cutter with torsional suspension system
A rotary cutter having a torsional suspension system may include a main frame, a deck supported by the frame, at least one rotary cutter mounted to the deck, at least one wheel, and a torsional suspension system connecting the at least one wheel to the frame. The torsional suspension system may include an outer tubular housing, an inner torsional tube disposed in the outer housing and configured to form cavities between the outer housing and the inner torsional tube, and elastomeric cords disposed in the cavities and configured for providing torsional resistance to rotation of the outer housing relative to the inner torsional tube.
Universal Wishbone Trailing Arm
A universal wishbone trailing arm and methods are provided for coupling a wheel to a vehicle chassis. The universal wishbone trailing arm comprises a wheel hub that fastenably receives the wheel. A cylindrical axle support supports one or more roller bearings whereby the wheel hub is rotatable. A first swing arm and a second swing arm extend forwardly from a joined swing arm. The cylindrical axle support is coupled to a rear of the joined swing arm. A first chassis mount hingedly couples the first swing arm to the vehicle chassis. A second chassis mount hingedly couples the second swing arm to an articulated mount which is configured to couple the second swing arm to the vehicle chassis. The articulated mount cooperates with the first second swing arms to change camber of the wheel, such that a tracking of the wheels remains substantially unchanged during traveling over rough terrain.
INDEPENDENT AIR SUSPENSION
An air suspension for a vehicle includes a mounting bracket configured to couple to the vehicle. A pivot bracket includes a top and a bottom. The top is pivotably coupled to a frontward portion of the mounting bracket. An air shock absorber includes a first end and a second end. The first end is pivotably coupled to the bottom of the pivot bracket and the second end is pivotably coupled to a rearward portion of the mounting bracket. An axle arm includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion of the axle arm is fixedly coupled to the frontward portion of the mounting bracket. A spindle is fixedly coupled to the second portion of the axle arm and is configured to be coupled to a hub assembly of a wheel.
Method of using a tower for accessing an interior of a fuselage assembly
A method and apparatus for accessing an interior of a fuselage assembly. A tower having a number of platform levels may be driven into a selected tower position within an assembly area. The interior of the fuselage assembly may be accessed using the number of platform levels.

The articulated mount cooperates with the first second swing arms to change the camber of the wheel, such that a tracking of the wheels remains substantially unchanged during traveling over rough terrain.
SUSPENSION ARRANGEMENT FOR A TRACKED VEHICLE COMPRISING PARTS OF DIFFERENT MODULUS OF ELASTICITY
The present invention relates to a suspension arrangement for a tracked vehicle. The suspension arrangement includes a road wheel arm having a wheel axle portion for supporting a wheel of the vehicle and a pivot axle portion. The road wheel arm is pivotably journalled at the pivot axle portion to a housing that is fixable to the vehicle body. A torsion bar is connected to the pivot axle portion and a torsion tube is arranged to be connected to the vehicle body, with the torsion bar running through the torsion tube and arranged to be connected to the torsion tube. The modulus of elasticity of the torsion tube material is lower than the modulus of elasticity of the torsion bar material such that the maximum suspension travel is increased.
VEHICLE WITH A FRONT AND / OR REAR STEERING MECHANISM, BASED ON APPLICATION OF A LATERAL, HORIZONTAL FORCE ON THE VEHICLE'S CHASSIS
A vehicle comprising: a front wheel set and a rear wheel set, each set comprising two wheels and an axle attached to the said wheels; a base structure or chassis; a front elastic pivot structure, connecting the front wheel set to the chassis, wherein said front elastic pivot structure comprises a front set of at least one elastic joint, enabling the chassis to tilt along a front roll axis in respect to the said front wheel set; a front shock absorber, associated with the front wheel set; a rear elastic pivot structure, associated with the rear wheel set, wherein said rear elastic pivot structure comprises a rear set of at least one elastic joint, enabling the chassis to tilt along a rear roll axis in respect to the said rear wheel set; and a rear shock absorber, associated with the rear wheel set.
AUTONOMOUS FLEXIBLE MANUFACTURING SYSTEM FOR BUILDING A FUSELAGE
A method and apparatus for building a fuselage assembly for an aircraft. A number of fixtures may be drive across a floor to an assembly area to form an assembly fixture. The fuselage assembly may be built on the assembly fixture.
Drive Configuration for Vehicle
An off-road vehicle includes a frame, an engine, a rear ground engaging member, and a first rear trailing arm and a second rear trailing arm. Each of the trailing arms have at least one housing and wherein, within each housing is a drive belt, the drive belt drivingly coupled to the engine and a rear ground engaging member.
Clamping Feet for an End Effector
An attachment for an end effector. The attachment may include a clamp and a foot adhesively bonded to an edge of the clamp and having a set of interlocking features that form a mechanical interlock with the clamp.
