A shock assembly with automatically adjustable ride height is disclosed. The shock assembly includes a main chamber with a working fluid therein. A damping piston coupled to a piston shaft, the damping piston disposed in the main chamber to divide the main chamber into a compression side fluid chamber and a rebound side fluid chamber. An automatic ride height adjustment assembly including an internal floating piston (IFP) pump assembly and a spring preload piston assembly.

Dust boot, method of manufacturing dust boot, and shock absorber

A dust boot includes a tubular boot body and an annular flange portion linked to an upper end of the boot body. In an outer side of the flange portion, an angle between the flange portion and a line perpendicular to an axis of the boot body is set to be larger than 0 and smaller than 90.

Spring module with negative and positive stiffness springs

A strut assembly for a suspension corner employed in a vehicle having a vehicle body and a road wheel includes a damper. The strut assembly also includes an elastic unit having at least one spring module acting in concert with the damper to suspend the vehicle body relative to the road wheel. Each spring module has a positive stiffness spring arranged in parallel with a negative stiffness spring. A vehicle that has a suspension corner employing the elastic unit and is configured to maintain contact between the road wheel and the road surface and provide isolation of vibration between the road wheel and the vehicle body is also contemplated.

Utility vehicle

A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members, a frame, a powertrain assembly, a front suspension assembly, and a rear suspension assembly. A cargo bed may be supported by the frame at the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle also includes an operator seat and at least one passenger seat positioned within an operator area. In one embodiment, the vehicle includes doors to enclose the operator area.

Shock absorber

A coilover shock with adjustable crossover is disclosed, in which, in some embodiments, a pre-load collar of a coilover shock may be adjustable in length, so as to engage the spring divider, when the tender coil spring is partially compressed during a compression stroke of the coilover shock, to prevent further compression of the tender coil spring and begin compression of the main coil spring. In some embodiments, the spring divider may be adjustable in length, so as to engage the pre-load collar, when the tender coil spring is partially compressed during a compression stoke of the coilover shock, to prevent further compression of the tender coil spring and begin compression of the main coil spring. In some embodiments, an adjustable pre-load collar, or an adjustable spring divider, may be controlled remotely, such as by a controller located in the driver compartment of the vehicle.
