Suspension thrust bearing device and suspension strut equiped with such a device
A suspension thrust bearing device for use with a suspension spring in an automotive suspension strut of a vehicle. The device includes an upper annular bearing member and a lower annular bearing member in relative rotation. The lower annular bearing member having a body provided with an embedded stiffening insert. The device further provides a damping element made of resilient material and interposed between the lower annular bearing member and the suspension spring. A radial flange of the damping element prevents separation from the lower side of the radial flange of the lower cap.
Rear strut gusset plates for reinforcing an off-road chassis
An apparatus and methods are provided for a chassis for an off-road vehicle that includes a chassis strut support. The chassis is a welded-tube variety of chassis that includes a front portion and a rear portion that are joined to an intervening passenger cabin portion. The chassis strut support includes one or more pairs of rear strut gusset plates for distributing loading on a rear strut crossmember by rear struts to at least a seat crossmember comprising the chassis. The rear strut gusset plates generally comprise thick sheet-members configured to be attached to a vertical brace between an upper mount and a lower stay comprising the chassis to reinforce the vertical brace and impart increased strength to the chassis. The rear strut gusset plates are configured to be attached to the vertical brace by way of bolts, rivets, welding, or any combination thereof.
TOP MOUNT ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A top mount assembly includes an insulator comprising an upper plate, a lower plate, and a rubber bushing accommodated in an accommodation space defined between the upper plate and the lower plate; and a strut bearing comprising an upper housing, a lower housing, and a bearing interposed between the upper housing and the lower housing and configured to rotate the lower housing relative to the upper housing. The upper housing of the strut bearing may comprise an insulator mounting part formed on an upper portion of the upper housing and on which the insulator is mounted, the insulator mounting part may comprise a lower plate mounting part on which the lower plate of the insulator is mounted and an upper plate supporting part formed outside the lower plate mounting part, and the upper plate support part may be configured to support a lower surface of the upper plate.
STRUT BEARING DEVICE, AND VEHICLE STRUT SUSPENSION
In a strut bearing device, an upper spring sheet made of steel has a cylindrical part and a disc part. The cylindrical part has, at an upper part thereof, an engagement hole penetrated in a radial direction. A lower case of a strut bearing has a cylindrical member fitted along an inner peripheral surface of the upper part of the cylindrical part. The cylindrical member has, at its outer peripheral surface, an engagement projection that is engaged with an engagement hole. Relative movement of the upper spring sheet and the lower case in an axial direction and in a circumferential direction is restricted in a state where the engagement projection is engaged with the engagement hole.
Rotation induction device for vehicle
A rotation induction device for a vehicle includes: an upper case formed of a synthetic resin material, and having a piston rod passing therethrough; a lower case formed of a synthetic resin material and disposed under the upper case, wherein the piston rod passes through the lower case; a center plate formed of a synthetic resin material, disposed between the upper case and the lower case such that the piston rod passes through the center plate, and configured to induce rotation of either one or both of the upper case and the lower case; and a ring-shaped installation space disposed between the upper and lower cases, wherein the center plate is inserted in the ring-shaped installation space.
Strut assembly and vehicle applying same
A strut assembly includes a piston rod of a shock absorber, an upper support of the shock absorber, a bearing, a spring and a buffer block, which are coaxially arranged. The upper support of the shock absorber has a first through hole, the bearing has a second through hole, and a portion of the upper support of the shock absorber is arranged in the second through hole, the buffer block has a third through hole, and one end of the piston rod of the shock absorber is located in the first through hole, the other end of the piston rod of the shock absorber passes through the third through hole, the buffer block is connected with the upper support of the shock absorber, the spring is sleeved around the piston rod of the shock absorber, and the spring is connected with the bearing. The present disclosure further provides a vehicle.
Rotation induction device for vehicle
A rotation induction device for a vehicle, includes an upper case member, a lower case member, a center plate, and an inflow prevention part. The upper case member has a piston rod disposed therethrough. The lower case member, disposed under the upper case member, has the piston rod disposed therethrough. The center plate, disposed between the upper and lower case members such that the piston rod passes through the center plate, is configured to induce either one or both of the upper and lower case members to rotate. The inflow prevention part, formed in the upper and lower case members, is configured to block the inflow of foreign matters. Each of the upper case member, the lower case member, and the center plate is composed of a synthetic resin material.
Vibration attenuation assembly
A vibration attenuation assembly that includes a strut weight configured to attenuate resonant frequency of a vehicle strut assembly. The strut weight has an upper surface and a lower surface. The strut weight has a rod receiving opening that extends from a central area of the upper surface to the lower surface. The upper surface has a conical shape.
STRUT BEARING DEVICE, VEHICLE STRUT SUSPENSION, PRODUCING METHOD OF LOWER CASE AND SEAL OF STRUT BEARING DEVICE, AND PRODUCING METHOD OF UPPER CASE AND SEAL OF STRUT BEARING DEVICE
Annular joint surfaces of a lower case of a strut bearing device respectively have case-side projections that project in an axial direction. Shapes A of the case-side projections, seen in an axial direction, continue in a circumferential direction, and vary their position in a radial direction along the circumferential direction. An inner-diameter side seal has a seal-side recess fitted to the case-side projection. An outer-diameter side seal has a seal-side recess fitted to the case-side projection.
