Sliding bearing
Provided is a sliding bearing capable of reducing the number of components and reducing costs. This sliding bearing (1) is provided with; an upper case (2); a lower case (3) combined with the upper case (2); and an annular dust seal-integrated center plate (8) that has a dust seal part (6) for covering a gap between the upper case (2) and the lower case (3), is disposed between the upper case (2) and the lower case (3), and enables relative rotation between the upper case (2) and the lower case (3). The dust seal-integrated center plate (8) is integrally formed with the lower case (3).
Suspension thrust bearing device and suspension strut equiped with such a device
A suspension thrust bearing device for use with a suspension spring in an automotive suspension strut of a vehicle. The device provides a bearing having upper and lower annular bearing members in relative rotation, and a damping element made of resilient material and interposed between the lower annular bearing member and the suspension spring. The damping element including at least one deflecting flange for reducing any ingress of water and other pollutants between the upper and lower annular bearing members. The damping element is provided with an annular groove open axially towards the suspension spring, the annular groove radially defining a spring support surface on an inner side, and the deflecting flange on an outer side. The deflecting flange has a frustoconical shape directed axially towards the suspension spring.
STRUT BEARING ASSEMBLY WITH METAL GUIDE RING AND SPRING SEAT
A suspension strut bearing assembly for connection between a portion of a suspension strut and a vehicle body. The bearing assembly includes an upper spring plate having an upper surface, a lower surface, and an opening defined therethrough, accommodates the piston rod of the shock absorber. The upper surface includes a first, concave race configured to receive rolling elements, and the lower surface includes a spring seat that is adapted to receive a suspension spring. An upper bearing washer that includes a second race that faces the first concave race 26 is provided. Rolling elements are located between the first, concave race and the second race. A retainer retains the upper bearing washer to the spring plate. The assembly eliminates the need for a separate lower bearing washer.
STRUT MOUNT CAP
A strut mount cap is provided on an upper surface of a strut mount, and is configured to close a hole housing a fastening component for the strut mount and a shock absorber. The strut mount cap includes a cap body configured to close the hole, an annular water stop lip provided on an outer periphery of the cap body and in elastic contact with the upper surface of the strut mount to prevent water from entering the hole, a press-fit tube provided on a back side of the cap body and held on an inner peripheral surface of the hole by being press-fitted into the hole, and a check valve configured to open the hole when an internal pressure in the hole is equal to or higher than a preset pressure, and close the hole when the internal pressure is lower than the preset pressure.
Rotation induction device for vehicle
A rotation induction device for a vehicle includes: an upper case having a piston rod disposed therethrough; a lower case disposed adjacent to the upper case and having the piston rod disposed therethrough; a center plate disposed between the upper case and the lower case such that the piston rod passes through the center plate, to induce rotation of one or both of the upper case and the lower case; and a position guide part formed on one or both of the upper case and the lower case, to guide a position of the center plate.
Strut bearing, assembly, and method of making and using the same
A strut bearing including a housing including a top piece and a bottom piece, and a plurality of low friction components each comprising a low friction layer comprising a low friction material, wherein the plurality of low friction components are bonded to the top piece or the bottom piece of the housing.
Concentric hydraulic ride height actuator for a motor vehicle
A hydraulic ride height actuator system for providing variation of a ride height at a front end of a vehicle is provided includes a strut and an actuator including a piston and a housing axially movable with respect to the piston. The housing is fastened to an upper end of the strut. The piston and the housing define a hydraulic chamber. An increase in a volume of the hydraulic chamber forces the housing upward to vary the ride height.
SUSPENSION THRUST ASSEMBLY
A suspension thrust assembly, the suspension thrust assembly including a damping component and a rigid component, the damping component being overmolded and formed to the rigid component; the damping component including a damping radial portion; the rigid component including a rigid radial portion; where a ring-shaped damping component protrusion is provided on the damping radial portion, a ring-shaped rigid component groove is provided on the rigid radial portion, and the damping component protrusion is fitted in the rigid component groove.
Shock absorber arrangement for a vehicle suspension and use of a lubricant for same
A shock absorber arrangement for a vehicle suspension contains a shock absorber having a damper cap and a piston rod, and a supplementary spring which is arranged on the piston rod opposite the shock absorber and has an outer surface facing the damper cap and an inner surface facing the piston rod, and is configured for damping the movement of the shock absorber in the direction of the piston rod on contact with the damper cap. The outer surface and/or the inner surface is at least partially coated with a lubricant.
Mounting system for the elastic mounting of a strut or a vibration damper
A mounting system for the elastic mounting of a strut or a vibration damper on a vehicle body includes a unit insertable into a receiving cup and a fixing device. The unit includes a mounting unit and a piston rod of a strut or vibration damper. In embodiments, the mounting unit has an elastomer mount for mounting the piston rod; the elastomer mount has a core for receiving the piston rod and an elastomer body, and a ring element that is a separate part or is non-positively, positively and/or materially connected to the body; the unit and fixing device may be inserted into the receiving cup from a side facing away from the body; the fixing device engages behind an undercut formed on the receiving cup; the ring element is supported on the fixing device; and/or the elastomer body is prestressed and presses the ring element against the fixing device.
