STARCH-BASED TEXTURIZERS FOR LOW PROTEIN YOGURT, YOGURT COMPOSIITON AND METHOD OF MAKING THE YOGURT COMPOSITION
Disclosed herein is at least one low protein yogurt composition comprising at least one dairy ingredient, dairy alternative ingredient, or mixture thereof, and a texturizing agent comprising an inhibited starch and a non-granular, enzymatically-debranched waxy starch selected from waxy maize, waxy tapioca, and combinations thereof, wherein said low protein yogurt comprises less than 2.9% dairy protein content, and at least one method for making these low protein yogurt compositions. Also disclosed herein is a texturizing agent comprising an inhibited starch and a non-granular, enzymatically-debranched waxy starch selected from waxy maize, waxy tapioca, and combinations thereof.
Pet food including cannabidiolic acid
A pet food product includes a food substrate manufactured by extrusion, baking or other process involving heat. The pet food product includes less than 10% of hemp oil by weight, and preferably less than 5% by weight. The hemp oil has cannabinoids, including acidiccannabinoids. The acidic cannabinoids have a concentration of less than 100 parts per million, and preferably between 10-40 parts per million in the hemp oil. The acidic cannabinoids include cannabidiolic acid (CBD-A) and cannabidiol (CBD) in a ratio of at least 1:1, and preferably 3:1, or greater. An antioxidant is added to the hemp oil to inhibit oxidation of the acidiccannabinoids including the (CBD-A). The pet food product includes a second oil blended with the hemp oil. The antioxidant and the second oil cooperate to inhibit oxidation of the acidic cannabinoids.
CONTROLLED RELEASE OF PHASEOLAMIN COMPOSITIONS
The invention is directed to a controlled release composition containing phaseolamin and a mineral, where the mineral is bound by a glycoprotein matrix. The composition may also contain stabilizers and/or additives and/or microorganisms.
Nut butter spread with sliced nuts and process for making the same
A nut butter spread is described to include nut portions blended in a nut butter base. The nut portions are derived from nuts having been finished (e.g., prior to introduction to the nut butter base) via a slicing operation.

Food Stabilising Composition Comprising Plant-Derived Inhibitors of Fatty Acid Oxidation
The present invention relates to a food stabilising composition including at least one plant derived inhibitor of fatty acid oxidation, processes for providing such compositions and methods and uses of the compositions and foodstuffs including such compositions.
EDIBLE WATER-CONTINUOUS COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to an edible, water-continuous composition comprising 15-80 wt. % water, by weight of the composition, 5-50 wt. % comminuted, sunflower seeds, by weight of the composition, wherein the comminuted sunflower seeds consist of raw sunflower seeds and roasted sunflower seeds such that 5-50 wt. % of the comminuted sunflower seeds is roasted sunflower seeds.
THERMALLY INHIBITED WAXY CASSAVA STARCH
This specification discloses thermally inhibited waxy cassava starches and edible compositions made therefrom. In one aspect edible compositions have improved creaminess compared to prior art starches, independent of starch usage level and the viscosity provided by the starch. In an embodiment the edible composition comprises between 0.1% and 35.0% by weight. In various embodiments the thermally inhibited waxy cassava starch has a peak viscosity of between about 100, and 2000 Brabender units or between 500 and 1500 Brabender Units.
PHYTOSTEROL COMPOSITIONS IN FOOD PRODUCTS
The invention relates to edible spreadable emulsion with a fat content of between 10 and 90% (w/v) wherein the combination of phytosterol ester, hardstock and liquid oil in the fat fraction consists of 10-50% (w/w) of a phytosterol ester, comprising at least 65% (w/w) phytosterol oleate, 0-20% (w/w) hardstock, and liquid oil up to 100%.
Amylose-Lipid Complexes
The invention provides a method for the manufacture of amylose-lipid complexes The method includes the steps of pasting a mixture of starch and a fatty acid until after the second biphasic peak viscosity is reached, hydrolysing the starch with a hydrolysing enzyme, and dispersing the hydrolysed starch and working up of the residue. The amylose-lipid complexes has nano-structure dimensions and can be used a fat replacer in foodstuffs.
