The stabilizer bush (10) comprises: a bush main body (11) formed from a tubular elastic body having a retention hole (12) through which the stabilizer bar (2) passes; a rigid body portion (14) that is fixed to the bush main body (11) and has a higher rigidity than the bush main body (11); and an elastic film (16) that comprises an elastic body and is in contact with a second surface (14b) of the rigid body portion (14). A part of the elastic film (16) is fitted into depressed portions (15a, 15b) that are depressed from the second surface (14b) to a first surface (14a) side.

The stabilizer bar (10) comprises a shaft (12) supported by bearings (18), cranked parts for example in the form of crank arms (30) being provided at or adjacent each end of the shaft (12), each cranked part having a connection point (32) for connection, in use, to a respective link member (34), wherein each connection point (32) is substantially aligned with a respective one of the bearings (18) relative to the axis of the shaft (12). The invention also relates to a vehicle incorporating such a stabilizer bar (10) and to a roll stabilization method using such a stabilizer bar (10).

The disclosed bushing assembly has a housing with a central bore for receiving a bushing sleeve that is dimensioned to fit a predetermined sway bar. The housing and sleeve have various combinations of mating projections and recesses that secure the sleeve in the housing. A bushing kit has a plurality of sleeves that are dimensioned to fit different predetermined sway bars and an appropriate sleeve can be selected at the time of installation. The housing and the sleeve are flexible.

The plate fitting is embedded in an axial direction. A notch-shaped recess is provided in a corner of axial ends of the circumferential end faces of each elastic half body. The recess extends in a radial direction of the elastic half body and opens onto an inner circumferential surface thereof, and a corner of axial ends of circumferential end portions of the plate fitting is exposed at the recess. A bottom corner of the recess extending in the radial direction of the elastic half body has a curved-concave inner surface shape.
