Air spring module
The invention relates to an air spring module having an air spring and a shock absorber for the suspension and damping of vibrations of a motor vehicle chassis. The air spring has a rolling bellows which is fastened to an air spring cover and a rolling piston. The rolling bellows at least partially delimits a first working space filled with compressed air. At least two working spaces are provided in the rolling piston, which are separated from one another by a partition and connectable to the first working space via switchable valves arranged in the rolling piston. In order to achieve simple production and installation as well as a low overall height, the rolling piston has at least two working spaces which are arranged adjacent to one another.
Load leveling emulsion suspension system
A suspension system is disclosed utilizing oil addition and subtraction to actuate an accumulator to control position and stiffness in an Emulsion Shock/Oleo Pneumatic strut/Air spring strut. The strut maintains ride height for a wide variation in sprung mass and adjusts for the expansion/compression of the gas due to variations in temperature. The strut provides spring and damping characteristics.
Resilient expandable pressure vessel
A resilient expandable pressure vessel configured to function like a spring. The resilient expandable pressure vessel includes a body portion, a cavity defined within the body portion, and at least one port in communication with the cavity defined in the body portion. The at least one port is configured to receive a fluid into the cavity and discharge the fluid from the cavity. The resilient expandable pressure vessel has a predetermined expansibility across a range of operating pressures of the fluid in the cavity. The range is at least 200 psi.

Noise improvement for fast high lift gas springs
A gas spring for use in a gas suspension system. The gas spring includes a gas inlet port configured to receive compressed gas and a gas inlet chamber connected via an inlet conduit to the gas inlet port and via an opening to an internal volume of the gas spring. The inlet conduit is connected to the gas inlet chamber at a position offset from a central axis of the gas inlet chamber such that an angle between a longitudinal axis of the gas inlet port and a surface of an interior wall of the gas inlet chamber opposing the gas inlet port is acute.
