Chassis component for a wheel suspension and method for producing a chassis component
A chassis component for a wheel suspension, having a strut arrangement with at least one strut which has a profile with an open cross-section. The at least one strut has a profile base and two wall sections which extend away from the base. An end of the strut has an articulation point that receives a first joint component having a spherical joint body and a second joint component which holds the joint body so as to rotate and/or pivot. A first joint accommodation aperture and a second joint accommodation aperture are arranged, in the area of the articulation point, opposite one another. The joint body is positioned via a circular-segment-shaped fastening element arranged on the joint body between the joint accommodation apertures. The joint accommodation apertures and the joint body positioned between them are integrated in a joint housing produced by overmolding, which forms the second joint component.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A MECHANICAL PART, THE OBTAINED PART AND A CONTROL ARM
A method for manufacturing a connection and/or transmission mechanical part disposed between two structures, which consists in carrying out the following successive operations: making a rigid framework, through operations of shaping at least one rod or the like, in order to replicate the volume shapes of the part and create, at determined locations, segments with shapes suited to optimise the strength and the rigidity of the part, incorporating into the framework at least one element suited to make an interface of the part with either one of the structures, moulding a plastic matrix around the framework.
CHASSIS LINK
A chassis link has a link body, a ball joint socket being arranged at one link end of the link body. The ball joint socket has a cylindrical portion and an outwardly directed flange which is formed from the same material as and in one piece with the cylindrical portion. The ball joint socket is joined by way of the flange to a first web of the link body. A second lower web of the link body is joined to the cylindrical portion.

A pressure retaining valve including: a first valve body for an opening of an air spring, the first valve body having an access opening; a second valve body connected to the first valve body and having a chamber fluidly communicating with the access opening and having a side outlet opening; and a return member disposed outside the access opening in the chamber for providing a bias toward the access opening; a closure part disposed in the chamber and movable from a closed condition against the bias to an open condition; and an actuator part having a head portion, a shaft section, and a flow channel, the head portion disposed outside the access opening and having a larger diameter than the access opening, wherein the stem portion is movably disposed through the access opening into the chamber, and the actuator member can move the closure member out of the closed condition.
COUPLING ROD
A coupling rod for the articulated connection of chassis components. The coupling rod has two joint sockets which are connected to one another along a longitudinal axis by a strut structure. The strut structure has two parallel outer struts connected to one another by a plurality of transverse struts. To provide a coupling rod that has a maximum buckling resistance and tensile strength while taking up the least possible fitting space, relative to the longitudinal axis, the transverse struts make an angle of 45°±10°. A central wall is arranged perpendicularly to the outer struts and connects the outer struts to one another.
Air spring strut having a plastic air spring cover made of thermoplastic
Air spring strut for a motor vehicle comprising an air spring with a shock damper for the spring-cushioning and damping of oscillations of a motor vehicle chassis, wherein the air spring comprises an air spring cover and a rolling piston, wherein a rolling bellows of elastomer material is clamped in an airtight manner between the air spring cover and the rolling piston. The air spring cover comprises a damper bearing receptacle in which a damper bearing of the shock damper is arranged, and the air spring cover comprises a clamping base to which a first end of the rolling bellows is attached. At least the damper bearing receptacle of the air spring cover is produced completely from a plastic material, and the plastic material is a thermoplastic.
DEVICE FOR SECURING A PNEUMATIC SPRING WITH AN ACOUSTIC DECOUPLING FUNCTION
A device for fastening an air spring to a body portion of a motor vehicle, at least comprising an air spring cover, wherein the air spring cover comprises at least one fastening means, by means of which the air spring can be connected to the body portion of the motor vehicle, wherein, for attachment of the air spring, the fastening means is plugged through an opening of the body portion and is fixed to said body portion in a force-fitting manner by a securing element, wherein a first and a second plastics part are provided for acoustic decoupling of the air spring, wherein the first plastics part, is clamped between the body portion and the securing element, and the second plastics part is provided so as to be positioned below the body portion.
Stabilizer link and method for manufacturing stabilizer link
This stabilizer link includes a metal support bar, and ball joints that are provided at both ends of the support bar. Each ball joint includes a ball stud one end of which is fastened to a suspension device or a stabilizer, and which has a ball part at the other end thereof, and a housing that rotatably supports the ball part of the ball stud. The support bar includes: a body part extending in a nearly linear shape, and reinforcement parts each having a nearly annular shape and each provided at both ends of the body part. The reinforcement parts of the support bar are each embedded in the housing so as to surround the ball part.
Wheel suspension
A wheel suspension having at least one chassis suspension link, a first track rod and a second track rod. A deflecting lever connects the first track rod and the second track rod to one another and the deflecting lever is mounted on the at least one chassis suspension link. To produce a simple structure of the bearing system, the bearing system is in the form of a slide bearing which is accommodated by a bearing section of the at least one chassis suspension link, in which a fastener, that connects the deflecting lever and the at least one chassis suspension link, is fitted.
Gas spring end members as well as gas spring assemblies including same
Gas spring end members include an end member wall with a longitudinal axis. The end member wall includes an end wall portion and an outer wall portion. The outer wall portion extends peripherally about an axis and is dimensioned to receivingly engage a flexible spring member. Rib wall portions are spaced around the axis with each of the rib wall portions projecting axially from the end wall portion toward a rib end surface portion. The rib wall portions also include a rib edge surface portion spaced inward from an inner side surface portion of the outer peripheral wall portion such that a gap is formed therebetween. Gas spring assemblies including one or more of such end members, and suspension systems including one or more of such gas spring assemblies are also included.
