A suspension thrust bearing device for use with a suspension spring in an automotive suspension strut of a vehicle includes a bearing having an upper annular bearing member and a lower annular bearing member configured for relative rotation. The lower annular bearing member includes a radial body and a damper having a radial portion made of resilient material overmolded to a lower side of the radial body. The damper radial portion has a lower support surface configured to axially support an end coil of the suspension spring, and the damper radial portion has a material hardness of 50 to 85 Shore A and an axial thickness of 2 to 10 mm.
Suspension bearing unit and support strut equipped with such a unit
A suspension bearing unit for a motor vehicle, comprising an upper cup, a lower cup and a bearing interposed between the upper cup and the lower cup in rotation in relation to each other about a principal axis. The suspension bearing unit also comprises at least one seal in a hollow housing provided on one face of a first element from among the lower cup and the upper cup. The hollow housing comprises a plurality of protruding ribs spaced apart circumferentially, the ribs protruding into the base of the seal.
Four-point link
A four-point link (1) for a wheel suspension of a vehicle, having a core element (2), a thread (3) and four bushings (6). The thread (3) is pre-impregnated with a resin. The core element (2) has a torsional element (4) and four supporting arms (5) integrally connected to the torsional element (4). A bushing (6) is arranged, on each respective distal end of the supporting arms (5), for holding a respective bearing element. The core element (2) and the respective bushings (6) are at least partially wrapped with the thread (3) in order to connect the bushing (6), in each case, to the thread (3) at least in a non-positive manner. In addition, a method for producing the above-mentioned four-point link (1).
SUSPENSION THRUST BEARING DEVICE AND SUSPENSION STRUT EQUIPED WITH SUCH A DEVICE
A suspension thrust bearing device for use with a suspension spring in an automotive suspension strut of a vehicle. The device provides a bearing having upper and lower annular bearing members in relative rotation, lower bearing member having a lower cup having at least one protruding indexation element. The device also provides a damping element made of resilient material and interposed between the lower cup and the suspension spring. The indexation element is made of a different material than that of the lower cup, the lower cup being made of a rigid plastic material and the indexation element being made of a resilient material.
Hybrid suspension arm
A hybrid lower arm and a hybrid upper arm include an arm body made of a metal material, and an insert injection-molded integrally with the arm body so that the insert is inserted into an inside of the arm body. The arm body has a weight ratio of 50% or more and 90% or less with respect to the total weight of the hybrid lower arm or the hybrid upper arm, thus achieving the rigidity increase as well as the weight reduction in the lower arm and the upper arm of a suspension system.

An additional spring for a shock absorber of a motor vehicle and a damper bearing for a shock absorber of a motor vehicle. In this case, the additional spring includes a first spring body which has a central hole for guiding through a piston rod of the shock absorber. The first spring body is formed spherical on an end face. The damper bearing according to the invention comprises a cylindrical receptacle space in which the first spring body of the additional spring is retained at least in certain regions, and is distinguished in that the receptacle space has a spherically formed base surface formed corresponding to the end face of the first spring body.
Oscillating arm of a motor-vehicle suspension
It is herein described an oscillating arm for a motor-vehicle suspension having a first rod element and a second rod element. The second rod element is a half-shell rod that provides a cavity. The oscillating arm also comprises at least one insert, made of plastic or fiber-reinforced composite material, which fills the cavity of the half-shell rod.
