DAMPER ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A damper assembly has a load management system comprising a jounce bumper, a striker cap conformably coupled to an end of the damper tube and a jounce bumper restraint attached to the striker cap and comprising an annulus that extends axially away from the striker cap and towards the jounce bumper, to define a jounce bumper rate cup therein. The striker cap and the annulus axially and radially engage the jounce bumper during impact events.

Sway bar bushing bracket with tow hook
Currently, some work vehicles and/or off-road vehicles come from the manufacturer lacking tow hooksor even a strong point on the rear bumper assembly and/or the chassis to install a tow hook. A non-limiting example of this sort of vehicle is the Toyota Tundra. It is highly desirable for such a vehicle to be able to be towed by another vehicle and/or have connection points for recovery from stuck in a natural hazard like mud or water. A novel and improved sway bar bushing bracket with a tow hook design is disclosed. In particular, the manufacturer-installed sway bar bushing bracket may be replaced with a reinforced sway bar bushing bracket with an integrated tow hook that may serve as a more robust sway bar bushing bracket, as well as providing a strong connection point with a tow hook.
Structural component for a motor vehicle
A structural component for a motor vehicle, with a component body (2) made from a sheet, which includes at least one shell-shaped body portion (3) formed from the sheet and at least one receiving bush (6) formed from the sheet that extends along its circumference between first and second circumferential ends (4, 5), which at the first circumferential end (4) merges into the shell-shaped body portion (3) and at the second circumferential end (5) merges into a strengthening strip (7) formed from the sheet and attached to the shell-shaped body portion (3). The strengthening strip (7) completes the shell-shaped body portion (3) to form an at least partially closed hollow section (8).
FRAME UNIT
A frame unit for utility vehicles includes outer and inner parts and a transverse region, wherein the transverse region extends substantially transversely to the outer part and/or the inner part, wherein the transverse region is integrally formed with the outer part or the inner part, the outer part and/or the inner part has a fastening region for being secured to a vehicle frame, the outer part has an outer bearing region and the inner part has an inner bearing region, an axle guide can be arranged between the outer and inner bearing regions and can be secured to the bearing regions such that the axle guide can pivot about a bearing axis, and wherein the transverse region secures the outer part and/or the inner part against pivoting about an orthogonal in relation to the bearing axis.
TUBULAR TYPE TORSION BEAM
A tubular type torsion beam is provided. The tubular type torsion beam is manufactured by bending and welding and coupling a plate material. The plate material has a plurality of protrusions disposed on a plurality of side surfaces in a width direction of the vehicle. The torsion beam is manufactured by molding the plate material in a pipe shape by bending the plate material in the width direction and molding the plate material to dispose the plurality of protrusions to contact each other to form a gap between the plurality of side surfaces of the plate material and then welding and coupling the plurality of side surfaces of the plate material.
Integrated steering suspension module for a vehicle
Steering suspension module including a shock absorber strut, a suspension upright, an outer ring of a wheel hub unit attached integrally to a front face of the suspension upright, and a ball joint for articulation with a control arm; wherein the suspension strut consists of a cup-shaped body made entirely of continuous, sheared and bent metal sheet, and the outer ring is provided integral in one piece with, and radially cantilevered from, a steering arm extending transversely cantilevered from the cup-shaped body, on the side of the cup-shaped body; the shock absorber strut is constrained within a first seat of the cup-shaped body and the ball joint is made as an independent unit constrained integrally with a second seat of the cup-shaped body in a position facing the first seat, the ball joint projecting inferiorly cantilevered from the cup-shaped body.

A vehicle suspension having a frame attachment portion attached to a saddle, first and second bolster springs mounted to spring mounts on an outboard side of the saddle and mounted on walls of a spring mount on an outboard side of an equalizing beam, and third and fourth bolster springs mounted to walls of a spring mount on an inboard side of the saddle and mounted to spring mounts on an inboard side of the equalizing beam, wherein upwardly extending flanges on the bottom of the first and second bolster springs are mounted to each other using a common fastener, and wherein upwardly extending flanges on the bottom of the third and fourth bolster springs are mounted to each other with a common fastener.
Suspension link and production method therefor
[Problem] To provide a suspension link having excellent reliability in strength or the like of a coupling portion of the suspension link while being inexpensive. [Solution] The present invention relates to a production method for a suspension link (100) having a tire coupling portion (11) that rotatably couples a tire to a suspension and a suspension coupling portion (12) that is coupled to a sub-frame member constituting the suspension, the method including: a bending process in which a plate is bent, a bent portion of the bent plate is formed into a hollow shape, and the hollow shape is used as one of the tire coupling portion and the suspension coupling portion; and an edge bending process in which an outer peripheral edge portion of the plate is bent prior to the bending process. The outer peripheral edge portion of the plate is bent by the edge bending process, the outer peripheral edge portion of the plate including an area from an arm (15) to a bent portion (24).
