LIGHTWEIGHT SUSPENSION UPRIGHT OR KNUCKLE
A lightweight suspension upright or knuckle for a vehicle including a bearing connection interface arranged coaxial with the rolling bearing and including a first sleeve element and a second sleeve element arranged radially outside the first sleeve element and including a BMC/LFT/DLFT annular body that is sandwiched between a first and second shell elements, which are coupled together in a radially superimposed manner and which are preferably obtained in a semi-cured state as self-supporting elements, to be chemically and mechanically bonded together and with the BMC/LFT/DLFT annular body in a later stage during a step of forming a core (11) to fill either completely or partially an empty space (12) delimited between the first and second shell elements (8,9).
Ball joint for a chassis
A ball joint having a ball pin and a housing. The ball pin together with the ball is accommodated in the housing to move in a rotational and pivotal manner. The ball is at least partially surrounded by a structural component. The structural component is essentially formed from a fiber-plastic composite structure and at least partially forms the housing.
INDUCTION HEATING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR HEATING STABILIZERS
An induction heating device according to one embodiment includes a first coil portion and a second coil portion. A bar-shaped workpiece is placed between the first coil portion and the second coil portion. The first coil portion includes a pair of first narrow pitch portions formed in respective end portions thereof, a first wide pitch portion formed between the first narrow pitch portions, and a first medium pitch portion formed in the center. The second coil portion includes a pair of second narrow pitch portions formed in respective end portions, a second wide pitch portion formed between the second narrow pitch portions, and a second medium pitch portion formed in the center.
Stabilizer bush
A bush main body having a circumferential part divided by a first virtual plane includes a first portion that is extended over a predetermined circumferential distance from the first virtual plane, a second portion that is disposed opposite the first portion with the first virtual plane sandwiched in between and is extended over a predetermined circumferential distance from the first virtual plane, and a third portion that is a portion other than the first and second portions. The inside diameter of the inner peripheral surface in a second virtual plane that includes an axial center and is perpendicular to the first virtual plane is set to be greater than the inside diameter of the inner peripheral surface in the first virtual plane while the first portion is in contact with the second portion in a no-load state before bonding to the stabilizer bar.
STABILIZER BUSHING FOR ADHESIVE USE AND STABILIZER BAR EQUIPPED WITH STABILIZER BUSHING
A stabilizer bushing for adhesive use including: a tubular rubber elastic body whose inner circumferential surface being configured to be adhered to a stabilizer bar; a bracket mounted onto an outer circumferential surface of the rubber elastic body and configured to be attached to a vehicle body; and concave/convex mated parts provided on axially opposite portions between the rubber elastic body and the bracket, the concave/convex mated parts protruding radially outward, wherein a mated height dimension of the concave/convex mated part is varied in a circumferential direction, and is made small at a position of input of a main radial load in the rubber elastic body.
Assembly consisting of a frame element, a connecting element and a part secured to the connecting element
An assembly includes a motor vehicle frame element, a connecting element that is secured to the frame element, and a part that is secured to the connecting element. An integral bond between the connecting element and the frame element and/or the connecting element is/are designed in such a way that the elastic modulus thereof is smaller than the elastic modulus of the part.
Steering system
A steering system includes a base body having a contact surface on a base body side and a bearing area for pivotable suspension of a first distal end and a retaining element having a contact surface on a retaining side and a fastening section for fastening a spring element, and that is arranged at an end of the base body and fixed to the base body by an adhesive between the contact surfaces, and/or wherein an axle body with a contact surface on the axle side, wherein the base body is fixed to the axle body by an adhesive introduced between the contact surfaces, wherein the retaining element is fixed to the axle body by an adhesive introduced between the contact surface on the axle side and the contact surface on the retaining side.
Bonded guide tube and bellow assembly for air spring
An air spring includes a bellow at least partially delimiting at least one working chamber that is constructed and arranged to be filled with compressed air. A guide tube surrounds at least a portion of the bellow. A bonding agent solely fixes a portion of the bellow to the guide tube. A piston is associated with the bellow. The bellow is constructed and arranged to roll with respect to an outer surface of the piston and an inner surface of the guide tube.
VEHICLE SPRING PRODUCTION METHOD AND VEHICLE SPRING
A stabilizer includes a stabilizer bar and a rubber bush. The stabilizer bar includes a bar body made of a steel and a coating film covering the bar body. The coating film is formed on the surface of the bar body by using a resin having a water contact angle of more than 65. By performing surface treatment for reducing the contact angle of the coating film present on an attachment part, the contact angle of the attachment part is changed to 65 or less. A pre-cured liquid adhesive agent is applied to an inner surface (adhesion surface) of the rubber bush. After a region including the attachment part of the stabilizer bar is heated, the rubber bush is overlaid on the attachment part. The adhesive agent is cured in a state where the rubber bush is pressed.
STRUCTURAL MEMBER
The present disclosure provides a structural member comprising an edge portion T.sub.1 and an edge portion T.sub.2 opposing the edge portion T.sub.1 in plan view in height direction (Z axis direction); when an axis direction connecting the edge portion T.sub.1 and the edge portion T.sub.2 is regarded as an X axis direction, the structural member includes, along the X axis direction, a region A including the edge portion T.sub.1, and a region B located on the edge portion T.sub.2 side than the region A and including the edge portion T.sub.2; in a cross-section perpendicular to the X axis direction, the region A includes a closed cross-section portion A whose outer rim shape is one closed cross-section A; and the region B includes a closed cross-section portion B satisfying a predetermined (i) or (ii).
