METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR MOVING THE FRONT WHEELS OF A VEHICLE FORWARD
The present invention provides embodiments of modified upper and lower control arms for attachment to the steering knuckle that came with the vehicle, or for attachment to a modified steering knuckle of an embodiment of the invention, such that the steering knuckle, and in particular the wheel hub opening of the steering knuckle, are located at positions that are closer to the front of the vehicle than the positions provided by the control arms that came with the vehicle. The forward position of the wheel hub relative to the position provided by the factory or stock control arms moves the wheel and tire forward by the same distance, thereby allowing much larger wheels and tires to be mounted on the vehicle which do not rub against or interfere with the wheel well, fender or body mount, thereby increasing the approach angle of the vehicle for use in off-road climbing.
Sway bar clamp
A clamp for securing a link to a bar or a rod in order to accommodate multiple connection points. The clamp or sway bar clamp includes multiple connection points for securing a link to a sway bar. The sway bar clamp goes over the end of the sway bar. It converts a sway bar with one connection point to a sway bar with multiple connection points to adjust flex of the sway bar.
Tandem wheel assembly and tandem wheel kit
A tandem wheel assembly or kit has a housing that includes a central chain box, a first wheel end casing, and a second wheel end casing. The central chain box has an internal volume extending between a first box end and a second box end, a unitary pivot portion having a box opening disposed about a pivot axis, a first box flange with a first box flange face and a second box flange with a second box flange face. The first wheel end casing has a first wheel end flange with a first wheel end flange face mateable with the first box flange face, a first wheel end opening, and defines a first length. The second wheel end casing has a second wheel end flange with a second wheel end flange face mateable with the second box flange face, a second wheel end opening, and defines a second length.
Universal Housing
A system and method for a universal housing. The universal housing has a central void. The system also includes a sleeve sized to be received within the central void. The universal housing can be used to house a ball joint and a uniball interchangeably. This allows the consumer to switch between a ball joint or a uniball joint without replacing the support arm. This aids in flexibility and versatility as well as decreases the product and labor costs associated with changing from one type to another.
Vehicle suspension kit having multi-purpose shock absorber and related
A shock absorber for a vehicle, the shock absorber having an absorber body with an outer surface, and a movable piston having a first end configured to couple with the vehicle, and a second end disposed within the absorber body. There is a magnet assembly disposed around and external of the movable piston at the second end. The absorber has a sensor assembly having a sensor body coupled with the outer surface. An inner sensor body has a sensor disposed therein configured to detect a change in a linear position of the magnet assembly.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO ADAPT A REAR SUSPENSION
A method and apparatus for adapting a vehicle rear suspension wherein the apparatus comprises a substantially circular plate having first and second surfaces with a central bore therethrough and with closed and open notches extending into a circumferential edge thereof, a pair of outer mounting bores extending through the plate proximate to the circumferential edge with the closed notch therebetween and a plurality of first and second inner mounting bores distributed around the central bore. The method comprises removing a multi-link rear suspension assembly from the vehicle and removing left and right wheel assemblies from the multi-link rear suspension assembly mounting an adaptor plate to each of the left and right wheel assemblies on an inside surface thereof with a first set of fasteners, mounting an axle beam of a torsion bar rear suspension assembly to each of the adaptor plates with a second set of fasteners and securing the torsion bar rear suspension assembly to the vehicle.
Position/height-based hydraulic suspension system and methods of using the same
The disclosure relates to a ride height adjustment system useful for self-adjusting casters on suspension systems of harvesters, such as self-propelled windrowers. The suspension system utilizes sensors and hydraulic actuators operably linked to each caster, the hydraulic actuators responding to a detected ride height of the harvester to adjust the position of the casters to achieve the preferred ride height.
Golf cart drop axle lift kit
A drop axle lift kit for a golf cart includes a base plate. Each support arm of a pair of support arms is positioned proximate a respective lateral side of the base plate. Each support plate of a pair of support plates is mounted to a respective support arm of the pair of support arms at a distal end of the respective support arm. A pair of rod end bearings is configured to rotatably support a front steering spindle of the golf cart such that the front steering spindle of the golf cart is rotatable about an axis. The pair of rod end bearings is mounted to one of the pair of support plates such that an angle defined between the axis and vertical is adjustable in order to change a canter of a wheel on the front steering spindle of the golf cart.

MODULAR RECONFIGURABLE VEHICLE FRAME SYSTEM
A modular, reconfigurable frame that can be combined into multiple standardized segments to create different core vehicle configurations is described herein. The frame includes a plurality of components that affix together universally to make multiple versions of cycle, vehicle, and airframe styles. The reconfigurable frame includes a quick pin and fastener that allows for transportation platforms to be incorporated into the frame in a modular fashion.
