The adjusting member is produced separately from the air-conditioning case and includes a first region and a second region. The second region includes a high resistance member giving higher resistance to the airflow than the first region. The first region includes a low resistance member giving lower resistance to the airflow than the second region. The low resistance member is a partition dividing the first region into plural air passing parts through which air flows. The high resistance member is a plate member including a part to interfere the airflow.

A vehicle air-conditioning unit includes an air-conditioning case and an inside/outside air switching door that is configured to change a ratio of a flow rate of an inside air to a flow rate of an outside air in an air introduced into the air-conditioning case. The vehicle air-conditioning unit includes a cooler that is disposed in the air-conditioning case, and a blower that is located downstream of the cooler and sends the air to a vehicle compartment. The air-conditioning case includes a drain pipe located downstream of the cooler, the drain pipe having a tube shape through which a condensed water generated on the cooler is drained out of the air-conditioning case. The cooler is located on an extended line of a centerline of the drain pipe such that a suction air drawn through the drain pipe into the air-conditioning case flows along the cooler.

Vehicle HVAC system

An HVAC system for a vehicle includes a housing, an evaporator disposed in the housing, and a heater disposed in the housing. The HVAC system further includes a bypass opening defined between an upper end of the evaporator and an upper end of the heater and an intermediate chamber defined by the evaporator, the heater, the housing, and the bypass opening. The HVAC system further includes an upper outlet passage configured to direct air from the HVAC system into a passenger compartment of a vehicle. The evaporator is configured to output a first stream of air into the intermediate chamber and the HVAC system is configured to operate in a first operating condition in which a first portion of the first stream of air will pass through the heater and a second portion of the first stream will bypass the heater by passing from the intermediate chamber through the bypass opening and into the upper outlet passage.

AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT FOR VEHICLE

An air-conditioning unit for a vehicle includes an air conditioning case, a blower, and a rectifying mechanism. The blower has a blower fan rotating around a fan axis and arranged in an in-case passage of the air conditioning case, and blows out air drawn from one side in an axial direction of the fan axis by rotation of the blower fan. The rectifying mechanism is arranged downstream of the blower fan in the in-case passage, and the air passes through the rectifying mechanism. The blower fan is arranged so that the other side of the fan axis that is opposite to the one side extends toward a downstream side of the in-case passage. The rectifying mechanism suppresses a swirling flow generated by the rotation of the blower fan in the air blown out from the blower fan as compared with the blown-out air prior to flowing into the rectifying mechanism.

Air conditioner for vehicle

An air conditioner for a vehicle includes: an air-conditioning case having therein an air flow passage through which air toward the vehicle interior flows, and an outlet opening formed at an upper part of the air-conditioning case and through which the air toward the vehicle interior passes; a heat exchanger disposed on a lower side of the outlet opening inside the air-conditioning case to exchange heat between air toward the vehicle interior and a heat-exchange medium; and an ion generator that includes electrodes to generate ions. The ion generator is mounted on the air-conditioning case such that the electrodes are exposed in air flowing through the air flow passage. The air-conditioning case has a collision-side wall surface with which the airflow having passed through the heat exchanger collides to be directed upward, and a lateral-side wall surface connected to and laterally adjacent to the collision-side wall surface. The ion generator is disposed at a predetermined position of the collision-side wall surface or the lateral-side wall surface.

Air conditioner for vehicle
