The vehicle air-conditioning apparatus includes a cooler provided in a first air passage, and a first air-sending device including a motor and a fan provided in the first air passage, and configured to drive the fan with the motor to thereby generate an airflow that flows into a vehicle interior through the first air passage. At least a part of an outer surface of the motor is located outside the first air passage.
METHOD FOR CLIMATE CONTROL
A method for climate control, in which an overall mass flow of air is guided through an auxiliary heater, which has multiple zones. The overall mass flow is divided after flowing through the auxiliary heater into multiple partial mass flows, and an nth partial mass flow respectively flows out of an nth zone. A value of at least one flow parameter of an nth partial mass flow is ascertained, and at least one manipulated variable of a respective nth zone is set in dependence on the value of the at least one flow parameter. Overheating of at least one zone of the auxiliary heater is avoided.
HVAC module having an open architecture
An open architecture HVAC module is disclosed having a housing defining an air inlet and at least two adjacent air outlets. An evaporator and a heater unit are disposed within the housing. A cold air chamber is defined between the evaporator and heater unit, and a hot air chamber is defined downstream of the heater unit. A partition extends into the cold and hot air chambers from an interior surface of the housing between the two adjacent air outlets. The partition is spaced from the evaporator and heater unit. The partition cooperates with the housing to define a first mixing chamber in fluid communication with the first outlet and a second mixing chamber in fluid communication with the second outlet. A blend valve is disposed in each mixing chambers. The blend valves are configured to selectively direct air flow from the cold and hot air chambers to the air outlets.
Air-conditioning device for vehicle
An air-conditioning device for vehicle has a case and an outlet unit. The outlet unit has a vent door. The vent door is capable of stopping at a face mode position where a center vent outlet and a side vent outlet are opened, a bi-level mode position where a center vent outlet and the side vent outlet are opened, and a heat mode position where the center vent outlet is closed and the side vent outlet is opened. The vent door is movable from the face mode position to the heat mode position via the bi-level mode position. The case has a fixed guide member. The fixed guide member controls an air flow in the case in the bi-level position by facing the vent door positioned in the bi-level mode position.
HVAC BLOWER ADJUSTABLE DIVERGENCE
A HVAC system is provided for use in a vehicle. The HVAC system includes a HVAC housing that contains a series of heat exchangers to heat and cool the passenger cabin of a vehicle. A blower fan may be disposed in a blower housing that is connected to the HVAC housing. The blower housing may contain a scroll portion that surrounds the blower fan. A door may be disposed in the scroll portion to adjust the volume of the scroll portion.
AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT
An air-conditioning unit is configured to operate in an internal/external air two-layer mode. The air-conditioning unit includes an air-conditioning case defining a passage, a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, an upstream partition and an intermediate partition. The upstream partition and the intermediate partition collectively partition the passage into a first passage through which internal air introduced from an internal air introducing port flows during the two-layer mode and a second passage through which external air introduced from an external air introducing port flows during the two-layer mode. The upstream partition is located upstream of the first heat exchanger and the intermediate partition is located between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. The intermediate partition is integrally formed with at least one of the first heat exchanger or the second heat exchanger.
Heat exchanger for a vehicle, and an air-conditioning unit, and associated method
A heat exchanger, preferably for a vehicle, including an applicative stratification, wherein the applicative stratification includes at least two stratification strands, wherein the applicative stratification is configured in such a manner that when incoming air into the heat exchanger is supplied in the direction of the applicative stratification, the incoming air is spread out by means of the applicative stratification in the respective stratification strand into an associated outgoing air portion. Furthermore, an exemplary embodiment may include an air-conditioning unit and an associated method.
HVAC inlet subassembly
An inlet subassembly for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The inlet subassembly includes a fresh air inlet and a fresh air door movable to control fresh airflow through the fresh air inlet. The inlet subassembly further includes a recirculation air inlet and a partition defining a first airflow channel and a second airflow channel extending from the recirculation air inlet. A recirculation air door is adjacent to the recirculation air inlet and is movable to a closed position restricting recirculated airflow into both the first airflow channel and the second airflow channel, an open position permitting recirculated airflow into both the first airflow channel and the second airflow channel, and a two-layer position in which the recirculation air door restricts recirculated airflow into the first airflow channel and permits recirculated airflow into the second airflow channel.
VEHICLE HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
An HVAC assembly for a vehicle. The HVAC assembly has an HVAC case with a rear blower and an evaporator. A rear blower scroll directs airflow generated by the rear blower to a lower portion of the evaporator. An airflow conduit is configured to direct airflow generated by a front blower to an upper portion of the evaporator. An airflow divider separates airflow generated by the rear blower from airflow generated by the front blower. The airflow divider divides the HVAC case into an upper area above the divider and a lower area below the divider. A defrost outlet and a front face outlet are at the upper area of the HVAC case above the divider. A front foot outlet and a rear airflow outlet are at the lower area of the HVAC case below the divider.
Vehicular air conditioning device
A vehicular air conditioning device includes an air conditioning case having first, second case introduction ports and first, second case discharge ports, and a fan. The first, second case discharge ports are offset upward and downward in an up-down direction relative to a rotation axis, respectively. A first inner guide surface of an inner guide plate is located on the one side of a second inner guide surface in the left-right direction. Air introduced through the first case introduction port is guided by the first inner guide surface to be drawn from a first passage into the fan, the air being blown upward to flow through the first case discharge port. Air introduced through the second case introduction port is guided by the second inner guide surface to be drawn from a second passage into the fan, the air being blown upward to flow through the second case discharge port.
