HVAC BLOWER ADJUSTABLE DIVERGENCE
A HVAC system is provided for use in a vehicle. The HVAC system includes a HVAC housing that contains a series of heat exchangers to heat and cool the passenger cabin of a vehicle. A blower fan may be disposed in a blower housing that is connected to the HVAC housing. The blower housing may contain a scroll portion that surrounds the blower fan. A door may be disposed in the scroll portion to adjust the volume of the scroll portion.
AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS FOR A VEHICLE
In the air conditioning system for a vehicle, when the mode is switched from a bi-level mode in which cold air is blown to a vicinity of a face of a passenger while warm air is blown to a vicinity of a foot to a vent mode in which only the cold air is blown to the vicinity of the face, the time at which the heating damper is started to be closed is delayed relative to the time at which the vent damper is started to be further opened, and the above heat damper is caused to be in a fully closed state in a state where the above vent damper is sufficiently opened. As a result, the heat damper can be operated after the pressure within the air conditioning case is reduced. Therefore, the driving torque of the actuator for driving the heat damper can be reduced.
FLAP WITH A COUNTERWEIGHT FOR AN AIR EXTRACTOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a flap (214) for an air extractor (210), in particular of a motor vehicle, said flap comprising a rigid or semi-rigid wall (242), articulation means (240) to allow a pivoting of the flap about an axis (A) substantially parallel to the wall, and at least one counterweight at a distance from said wall and removably connected to said wall (242). It also relates to an air extractor (210), in particular of a motor vehicle, comprising a support (212) having at least one window (218) defining an opening for the passage of air and at least one flap as described above and movable between a position of closure of the opening and a position of opening up this opening.
Vehicular air conditioning system and control method thereof
A vehicular air conditioning system and a control method thereof are provided. The vehicular air conditioning system includes: a plurality of mode doors configured to switch an air discharge mode in a passenger compartment, the mode doors including a defogging door, a vent door and a floor door; and a mode door air pressure reduction part configured to temporarily reduce an air pressure acting on at least one of the mode doors when the air discharge mode is switched.
AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE
The present invention comprises: a unit case; a damper which switches between the open state and the closed state of a flow path; a plurality of damper levers which have pins and rotatably support the damper with respect to the unit case; and a main lever which has guide grooves into which the pins are fitted, and rotates the damper levers by guiding pins through rotation around an axis, wherein the main lever has a main lever body having the guide groove formed therein, and a shaft part which rotatably supports the main lever body and is provided with a hook portion engaged with the unit case, and the shaft part has a higher toughness than the main lever body and is made of a material different from that of the unit case.
MOTOR VEHICLE
A motor vehicle includes a motor vehicle front end with at least one cooling-air opening. The cooling-air opening is formed with an encircling edge which, at least at the two lateral side regions, has a projecting edge region. In the cooling-air opening, there is arranged at least one cooling-air slat which extends through the cooling-air opening and divides the cooling-air opening into at least two separate partial openings.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SANITIZING A VEHICLE INTERIOR
A motor vehicle includes a passenger space and a HVAC system. The HVAC system includes a heater, an air conditioner, and ducts configured to heat and/or cool air to the passenger space. The HVAC system is configured to increase humidity of air while the air is flowing through the HVAC system, and to introduce a sanitizing agent into air while the air is flowing through the HVAC system. A controller is configured to actuate the HVAC system to circulate humidified air containing the sanitizing agent through the passenger space to neutralize pathogens that may be present in the passenger space.
Vehicular air conditioning device
An air conditioning case configuring a vehicular air conditioning device is configured from first through third case sections capable of being divided in a width direction, the third case section in a center in the width direction and the first case section being connected via a first dividing section, and the third case section and the second case section being connected via a second dividing section. Moreover, the first and second dividing sections are formed in such a manner that their lower section sides facing a lower passage divided in a space between an evaporator and a heating unit are positioned on outer sides in the width direction with respect to an upper section of the air conditioning case provided with a vent blast port blasting air into a vehicle interior.
HVAC sealing surface with noise reduction configuration
Disclosed is an HVAC system configured to reduce noise. The HVAC system includes a door having a first and second end. The door includes an elastomer along the first end and a rotatable member adjacent the second end. The elastomer includes a door touch area. The case defines an internal case portion, external case portion, and a case opening fluidly connecting the internal and external case portion. The case is configured to receive the rotatable member of the door such that the door is rotatable about an axis between a first position, where the door covers the case opening, and a second position, where the door does not cover the case opening. The case includes a case touch area with a graining. The door touch area and the case touch area are substantially parallel and in contact along a surface contact area when the door is in the first position.
HEATING, VENTILATION AND/OR AIR-CONDITIONING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
