In a rotary door of a vehicular air conditioner, an outer peripheral portion closes a defroster blowing opening and another outer peripheral portion closes a foot blowing opening in a face mode. A first door opening communicates with an inlet opening and a second door opening communicates with a face blowing opening. A cross-sectional area of a flow path through which the airflow passes through the inlet opening and the first door opening is equal to a cross-sectional area of a flow path through which the airflow passes through the face blowing opening and the second door opening.

Dual line register

An automobile air vent register is described. The register uses a pair of rotating vent cover doors and an elongate opening in a configuration providing good airflow control within a limited space. Exemplary methods and structures for controlling and directing airflow are provided.

AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE

Disclosed is an air conditioner for a vehicle. The present invention provides an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of introducing indoor air and outdoor air simultaneously or selectively by forming a double-layer flow in an air conditioner case and capable of separately controlling the temperatures of a front seat and a rear seat.

AIR VENT FOR USE IN A VEHICLE
20180319248 · 2018-11-08 · ·

Air vent that includes a housing and an air duct having an air inlet end and an air outlet end, wherein an air flow flowing through the air duct can flow along a main flow direction from the air inlet end to the air outlet end. The air vent includes a front air-guiding element in the air duct that is adjustable about a front axis of rotation. The air vent includes a rear air-guiding element which is arranged in the air duct upstream of the front air-guiding element and is adjustable about a rear axis of rotation. The front air-guiding element can be rotated about the front axis of rotation and the rear air-guiding element can be rotated about the rear axis of rotation by moving a control element.

The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle, which includes a dome-type temperature-adjusting door and a dome-type face door rotatably mounted in a mixing chamber of an air-conditioning case, such that a curved surface of the inner face of the temperature-adjusting door and a curved surface of the inner face of the face door can smoothly guide air toward vents according to air discharge modes so as to reduce flow resistance and increase air volume.

Vehicle air conditioner

A vehicle air conditioner for supplementing and regulating the air volume discharged to front seats and rear seats through a door component that controls a passage, and enabling the length of a package in the direction of a heater core to be reduced. The vehicle air conditioner has an air passage comprising: a front seat air passage through which cold air or hot air is discharged toward the front seats of a vehicle; and a rear seat air passage through which cold air or hot air is discharged toward the rear seats of the vehicle, wherein the front seat air passage comprises a front seat cooling passage and a front seat heating passage, and the rear seat path comprises a rear seat cooling passage and a rear seat heating passage, and includes: a first mixing part in which the cold air of the front seat cooling passage and the hot air of the front seat heating passage are mixed; and a second mixing part in which the cold air of the rear seat cooling path and the hot air of the rear seat heating path are mixed.

Convex grid shape to reduce turbulence under rotary door

A fresh air and recirculation air switching case using a rotary door, since an introduced air flows along an inner surface of a circumferential wall of the rotary door, a convex grid is formed on an inner surface of the circumferential wall of the rotary door. In this system, the air flow directed toward a suction inlet is prevented from becoming turbulent behind the rotary door and the air flow noise can be suppressed.

AIR FLOW DISTRIBUTION DEVICE

An air flow distribution device of a driver HVAC unit is described. The air flow distribution device can direct conditioned air flow into a space of a housing of the air flow distribution device via an air inlet of the air flow distribution device. A single motor of the driver HVAC unit can control an orientation of an air flow distribution mechanism of the air flow distribution device. Based on the orientation of the air flow distribution mechanism, the air flow distribution mechanism can direct the conditioned air entering the space via the air inlet to exit the housing via one of the window air module, the head air module, and the foot air module of the air flow distribution device.
