The system can also include a system control circuit configured to generate or receive local contaminant concentration values at the present geolocation, evaluate the filter sensor device data to determine at least one of the filter condition value and a change in the filter condition value, and generate at least one of a maintenance recommendation and a routing recommendation based on the local contaminant concentration values, time spent at the geolocation of the vehicle, duty cycle of the vehicle, the filter condition value, and a change in the filter condition value.
