Coolest A/C discharge temperature for all operating conditions

An automatic climate controller device identifies an operating zone of the climate control system according to at least two input factors, and identifies a discharge temperature of the climate control system. Based on the operating zone and the discharge temperature, the automatic climate controller device determines whether to perform at least one override action to override a climate control system setting to reduce the possibility of evaporator core icing. The automatic climate controller device also adjusts an evaporator set point according to the at least one override action to reduce the discharge temperature. The input factors may include evaporator temperature and cabin relative humidity. The actions may include one or more of increasing blower speed or increasing use of recirculated air.

Motor lock determination device

In a motor lock determination device (1), a lock determination on an electric motor (7) is performed such that: a first detection value (PI), which is a detection value (P) of a refrigerant pressure sensor (17) during a stop of an electric fan (5), is detected, and a second detection value (P2), which is a detection value (P) of the refrigerant pressure sensor (17) after the electric fan (5) is driven for a first predetermined time (Δcustom character), is detected; when the second detection value (P2) is equal to the first detection value (PI) or more than the first detection value (PI), it is determined that a motor lock occurs; and when the second detection value (P2) is less than the first detection value (PI), it is determined that no motor lock occurs.

APPARATUS OF MULTI-AIR MODE FOR VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME

An apparatus of multi-air mode for a vehicle air conditioner includes: an air conditioner (HVAC) that is provided in a vehicle and supplies air into the vehicle, an air duct unit in communication with the air conditioner and provided to deliver air supplied from the air conditioner to the inside of the vehicle or to discharge it to the outside of the vehicle, and a multi-air discharge unit in which the air delivered from the air duct unit is discharged into the vehicle.

AFTER-BLOW CONTROL METHOD OF VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONER

An after-blow control method of a vehicle air conditioner includes: turning on after-blow function applied to the vehicle and turning off the vehicle start, determining, by the controller, whether a condition of the vehicle is satisfied, displaying an after-blower symbol after ignition is turned off if it is determined that the condition of the vehicle is satisfied, determining, by the controller, whether a preset first time has elapsed after the vehicle is turned off, operating the after-blow at a preset intensity for a second preset time and displaying the after-blower symbol if it is determined that the first preset time has elapsed after the vehicle is turned off, and terminating the after-blow function when the second preset time elapses or when the vehicle is turned on.

ABNORMALITY DIAGNOSIS DEVICE FOR BLOWER SYSTEM
20220048364 · 2022-02-17 ·

An abnormality diagnosis device that performs an abnormality diagnosis on a blower system that sends air to a plurality of air receiving objects obtains a target operating state of an airflow control device that controls airflow to the air receiving objects, obtains a temperature detected by a temperature sensor that detects a first temperature as a temperature of air fed to a first air receiving object as one of the air receiving objects or a temperature of the first air receiving object, estimates the first temperature, based on the target operating state of the airflow control device, and performs abnormality diagnosis on the airflow control device. The abnormality diagnosis device determines that there is an abnormality in the airflow control device, when a difference between the detected first temperature and the estimated first temperature is equal to or larger than a predetermined first reference value.

Techniques to optimize vehicular systems for occupant presence and condition

Methods and apparatus relating to optimization of vehicular systems for occupant presence and condition are described. In one embodiment, logic circuitry detects presence and/or condition of one or more occupants of a vehicle based on sensor data. Memory (e.g., non-volatile memory) stores information corresponding to one or more functions of the vehicle. The logic circuitry transmits a request to the vehicle to cause an adjustment to the one or more functions of the vehicle. Other embodiments are also disclosed and claimed.

A refrigerated storage unit 1 includes: a refrigeration chamber S2, a refrigeration part 3 for cooling air inside the refrigeration chamber S2, a fan 4 for sending cold air cooled by the refrigeration part 3 into the refrigeration chamber S2, a temperature sensor 5 for detecting a temperature inside the refrigeration chamber S2, an infrared sensor 8 for detecting a temperature of a content provided inside the refrigeration chamber S2, and a control part 7 for controlling driving of the fan based on a result detected by at least one of the temperature sensor 5 and the infrared sensor 8.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING VENTS OF A VEHICLE
20220032731 · 2022-02-03 ·

Ventilation control systems and methods for a vehicle are presented. The system includes a touch screen that is configures to display an object and receive a selection of a part of the object. The system also includes an air vent that comprises at least one controllable fin and a motor that can control the configuration of that fin. A control circuitry of the system configures the fin, using the at least one motor, to direct air from the air vent to a location that corresponds to the selected part of the object.

Environmental equipment control apparatus and environmental equipment control system

An environmental equipment control apparatus controls environmental equipment. The environmental equipment control apparatus includes a grasping unit that grasps physical-and-mental-state information about a physical and mental state of a user, and a control unit that changes a control state of the environmental equipment in a case in which the physical-and-mental-state information satisfies a predetermined state condition.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SANITIZING AIR CONDITIONED BY A CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM

A method for purifying air within a space is provided. The method includes a controller determining whether an ON signal is received. Upon determining that the ON signal is received, the controller instructs an air sanitizer of an air sanitization system to turn ON to purify an airflow passing through the air sanitization system, and instructs an air movement fan/blower to operate in order to direct the airflow into the space. Upon determining that the ON signal is not received, the controller instructs the air movement fan/blower and the air sanitizer to be OFF.
