An air-conditioning control apparatus includes a determiner and a controller. The determiner is configured to determine whether a subject vehicle is in a slipstream of a preceding vehicle when the subject vehicle is in autonomous control and following the preceding vehicle. The controller is configured to increase a flow rate of air flowing through a condenser for an air-conditioning of the subject vehicle when the determiner determines that the subject vehicle is in the slipstream of the preceding vehicle. According to this, even when the subject vehicle is in the slipstream and following the preceding vehicle during the autonomous control, the flow rate of the air flowing through the condenser can be increased by the controller. Accordingly, the flow rate of the air flowing through the condenser of the subject vehicle can be secured in the condition where the inter-vehicle distance from the preceding vehicle is small during vehicle platooning.

Ejector refrigeration cycle device and low outside temperature operation thereof

An ejector refrigeration cycle device includes: a radiator that dissipates heat from a refrigerant discharged from a compressor; an ejector module that decompresses the refrigerant cooled by the radiator; and an evaporator that evaporates a liquid-phase refrigerant separated in a gas-liquid separation space of the ejector module. A grille shutter is disposed as an inflow-pressure increasing portion between the radiator and a cooling fan blowing the outside air toward the radiator. The grille shutter is operated to decrease the volume of the outside air to be blown toward the radiator when an outside air temperature is equal to or lower than a reference outside air temperature, thereby increasing the pressure of the inflow refrigerant to flow into a nozzle passage of the ejector module.

A vehicle air conditioner includes: a refrigerant circuit which includes a compressor, an external heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an evaporator; and a cooling fan. The vehicle air conditioner further includes: a refrigerant temperature detection part; a vehicle environment temperature detection part; and a controller. The refrigerant temperature detection part is configured to determine the temperature of a refrigerant which flows into the expansion valve. The vehicle environment temperature detection part is configured to determine a temperature outside the refrigerant circuit under an installation environment. The controller is configured to control a speed of the cooling fan in a cooling operation time such that a cooling performance with respect to the external heat exchanger is decreased when the temperature difference between a determined refrigerant temperature by the refrigerant temperature detection part and a determined external temperature by the vehicle environment temperature detection part is equal to or less than a first set temperature difference.

A system including mode, engine, and battery modules, where the mode module determines whether to operate in an engine mode or a battery mode based on parameters. The engine module, while operating in the engine mode, runs a compressor at a first speed based on a temperature within a temperature controlled container of a vehicle and permits passage of refrigerant through eutectic plates independent of the temperature. A battery, while in the engine mode, is charged based on power received from an electrical source. The battery module, while operating in the battery mode and based on the temperature, runs the compressor at a second speed and prevents passage of the refrigerant through the eutectic plates. While in the battery mode, the battery is not being charged based on power from a shore power source and the electrical source from which power is received during the engine mode.

A motor-driven vehicle includes an electric motor, a power storage device, a control device, and a refrigerant circuit. The refrigerant circuit has a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an outdoor heat exchanger. The indoor heat exchanger exchanges heat with the refrigerant compressed by the compressor. The refrigerant which passes through the indoor heat exchanger is decompressed by the expansion valve, and the outdoor heat exchanger exchanges heat with the decompressed refrigerant and allows the refrigerant to return to the compressor. When the remaining capacity of the power storage device is equal to or more than a predetermined value, the control device operates the compressor and decreases a passing-through air volume of a first air guide device that controls a passing-through air volume of the outdoor heat exchanger.
