APPARATUS FOR WINDOW
An apparatus for window is used for moving a movable window plate among an insertion position for being inserted into an aperture portion of a fixed window plate, an extraction position for being extracted from the aperture portion toward an indoor side, and an opening position for being moved from the extraction position in a sliding direction that is different from an inserting and extracting direction to open the aperture portion. The apparatus includes a rotating shaft rotatably supported at a predetermined position for the movable window plate; a movement conversion mechanism configured to convert a rotation of the rotating shaft into a translation of the movable window plate between the insertion position and the extraction position; and a drive shaft, fixed to the rotating shaft, configured to rotate the rotating shaft around a central axis of the rotating shaft by revolving around the central axis of the rotating shaft.
Power slide window
To provide a power slide window in which, irrespective of the assembly accuracy, the step between the slide panel and the window glass pane in the closed state can be reduced, at least one pin drive groove (30) formed in a slider (20) to engage at least one pin (16) extends in a direction crossing a panel surface (2b) of the window glass pane (2) and inclined to the direction of extension of a groove main portion (26a) of a pin guide groove (26). A stopper (23) configured to limit the movement of the slider (20) toward the closed position is provided in a slider guide groove (27), and a position adjustment structure (32) capable of adjusting the position of the stopper (23) in the direction of extension of the slider guide groove (27) is provided. By adjusting the position of the stopper (23) by the position adjustment structure (32), it is possible to limit the movement of the slider (20) toward the closed position at a position where the slide panel (3) aligns with the window glass pane (2).
SEALING SYSTEM FOR MOVABLE WINDOW OF VEHICULAR REAR SLIDER WINDOW ASSEMBLY
A vehicular slider window assembly includes a movable window panel that is movable along rails at an opening of a fixed window panel. A perimeter seal is disposed at a surface of the fixed window panel and circumscribes the opening and is configured to seal against a surface of the movable window panel when the movable window panel is in a closed position. The perimeter seal includes elongated sealing portions joined at respective corner regions, with adjacent end regions of attachment elements of the sealing portions being spaced from one another at the respective corner regions such that there is a gap between the adjacent end regions. With the attachment elements attached at the surface of the fixed window panel, a sealant is dispensed into the gaps via passageways to seal the corner regions of the perimeter seal at the fixed window panel.
Sliding window assembly
A sliding window assembly includes a frame with a track, and a sliding window portion disposed in the frame and displaceable in the track between a closed position and an open position. The sliding window portion includes a handle pivotable between a lock position and a slide position, and a driving pin coupled with the handle and engaging the track. The driving pin defines a pivot axis for the handle. A guide pin spaced from the driving pin is selectively engageable with the track when the handle is pivoted from the lock position to the slide position. With the handle in the slide position, the sliding window portion is displaceable from its closed position to an open position.
Dual slider window assembly
A vehicular rear slider window assembly includes an upper rail and a lower rail and a fixed window panel. The rails are attached at an inner surface of the fixed window panel above and below an opening. First and second movable window panels are movable along the rails. The drive system includes a drive element at the first movable window panel, a gear element rotatably mounted at a rail of the window assembly, and first and second toothed tracks attached at the respective movable window panel and extending toward and overlapping the other movable window panel. When the drive system is operated, the drive element imparts movement of the first movable window panel along the rails. Movement of the first movable window panel causes a corresponding movement of the second movable window panel in an opposite direction along the rails via engagement of the gear element with the toothed tracks.
SLIDER WINDOW ASSEMBLY WITH MOVABLE PANEL DRIVE SYSTEM
A vehicular slider window assembly includes a frame portion having an upper rail and a lower rail, a fixed window panel, and a movable window panel that is movable along the rails between an opened position and a closed position. A drive system is operable to move the movable window panel between the opened position and the closed position. The drive system includes a single flexible drive element that, when the drive system is actuated to move the window panel in one direction, the flexible drive element pulls the movable window panel along the rails, and when the drive system is actuated to move the window panel in the opposite direction, the flexible drive element pushes the movable window panel along the rails. The lower rail includes guide structure that limits flexing of the flexible drive element when the flexible drive element pushes the movable window panel along the rails.
VEHICLE CONVERTIBLE TOP SYSTEMS
A vehicle includes a vehicle body including a truck bed at least partially defining a cargo area, a vehicle interior with passenger seating, and a multi-component hard top assembly configured to selectively and removably couple to the vehicle body to provide an enclosed configuration at least partially enclosing the vehicle interior. The multi-component hard top assembly includes a rear window assembly configured to selectively and removably couple to the vehicle body.
VEHICULAR REAR WINDOW ASSEMBLY WITH SYSTEM STATUS INDICATOR
A vehicular rear window assembly includes a fixed window panel and an indicating device having a plurality of light sources. The vehicular rear window assembly is configured to be disposed at a rear portion of a cabin of a vehicle. The indicating device is disposed at the fixed window panel. With the vehicular rear window assembly disposed at the rear portion of the cabin of the vehicle, the light sources, when electrically powered to emit light, emit light that is visible through the window panel so as to be viewable by a person viewing the vehicular rear window assembly from exterior and rearward of the vehicle. The indicating device is operated responsive to at least one system of the vehicle. Responsive to an output of the at least one system, the indicating device adjusts operation of the light sources to indicate a status of the at least one system.
VEHICULAR WINDOW ASSEMBLY PROCESS WITH TEMPERATURE CONTROL OF THE SOLDER JOINT THAT ATTACHES AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A system for assembling a vehicular window assembly includes a heating device that, when electrically operated, heats an electrical connector disposed at a glass panel of a vehicular window assembly to heat and melt solder disposed between the electrical connector and an electrically conductive trace established at the glass panel to form a solder joint providing electrically-conductive connection between the electrical connector and the electrically conductive trace established at the glass panel. A temperature sensor captures sensor data indicative of a temperature of the electrical connector and the solder. The system, based on processing at an electronic control unit (ECU) of the captured sensor data, adjusts electrical operation of the heating device to adjust the temperature of the electrical connector and the solder during the soldering process that forms the solder joint.
