Vehicle automatic window sunscreens
Vehicle automatic window sunscreens are provided, which may comprise a plurality of roller shades for the windows of a vehicle. Sunscreens are installed for the side windows of the vehicle in addition to the windshield and rear window. The sunscreens block or filter radiant energy to reduce the effects of sunlight and heat on occupants and interior components of, and personal property in, the vehicle. The sunscreens protect infants and children if they are forgotten and left in the vehicle during sunny, hot days.
Autonomous vehicle with automatic window shade
A vehicle includes at least one autonomous driving sensor and an autonomous mode controller configured to receive signals generated by the autonomous driving sensor. The autonomous mode controller controls at least one vehicle subsystem based at least in part on the signals received. Furthermore, the autonomous mode controller is configured to shade at least one vehicle window when the vehicle is operating in an autonomous mode.
WINDING DEVICE
The present invention discloses a winding device includes a screen, a winding shaft for winding the screen, a housing portion for housing the winding shaft, and a fiber assembly that supports rotatably an end portion of the winding shaft. The present invention also discloses a winding device includes a screen, a winding shaft for winding the screen, the winding shaft having an opening at an end portion, a housing portion for housing the winding shaft, a fiber assembly that is in the opening of the winding shaft, the fiber assembly having a hole along a center line direction of the winding shaft, and a support shaft that is in the hole of the fiber assembly, the support shaft supporting the fiber assembly rotatably.
Automatic window shade assembly
An automatic window shade assembly includes a plurality of shade units that is each integrated into a vehicle and is aligned with a respective one of a plurality of windows in the vehicle. Each of the shade units inhibits sunlight from passing into the vehicle when the shade units are deployed. Each of the shade units exposes the windows when the shade units are stored. Additionally, each of the shade units is in wireless communication with a personal electronic device to remotely control each of the shade units. A heating unit is integrated into a respective shade unit to defrost a windshield in the vehicle. A control is integrated into the vehicle for controlling operational parameters of the heating unit and each of the shade units.
USING VISION DEVICES AND TECHNIQUES TO CONTROL SUNLIGHT BLOCKING DEVICES FOR VEHICLES
A motor vehicle includes an inside camera capturing images of a passenger compartment of the motor vehicle. An outside camera captures images of an environment outside of the motor vehicle. A movable sunblock device blocks sunlight from impinging upon a portion of the passenger compartment. An electrically powered actuator is coupled to the sunblock device and moves the sunblock device. An electronic processor is communicatively coupled to each of the inside camera, the outside camera, and the actuator. The electronic processor receives images captured by each of the inside camera and the outside camera. The electronic processor transmits control signals to the actuator dependent upon the images captured by each of the inside camera and the outside camera.
Electric spiraling piston and systems devices apparatuses and methods utilizing same
Disclosed are an electric spiraling piston and systems, devices, apparatuses, and methods utilizing same. An electric spiraling piston includes a drum around which the piston spirals as it is being retracted. A spinning axis of the drum is functionally connected to the drive shaft of a motor, such that motor torque is relayed to the axis. The axis, when spinning with the drum in a first direction, causes the piston to un-spiral and extend out of a housingwhile rounding its cross sectionto assume a straight, rigid position/orientation. The Axis, when spinning with the drum in a second direction, causes the piston to be retracted back into the housingwhile flattening its cross sectionto assume a spiral orientation within the housing.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LIGHTING IN A ROOF AND ROLLO ASSEMBLY
A rollo assembly for a vehicle includes a roof panel provided with glass light, a rollo screen movable between a closed position and an opened position, in Guide Light; and a control unit. The control unit is configured to: upon movement of the rollo screen to the opened position, adapt lighting by decreasing in Guide Light and increasing glass light. The control unit may further be configured to, upon movement of the rollo screen to the closed position, adapt lighting by decreasing glass light and increasing in Guide light. Wherein adapting lighting comprises gradually changing the amount of light emitted by the in Guide Light and the glass light.
Roll control device of a vehicle curtain
A roll control device of a vehicle curtain is mounted on a receiving housing and is connected to a curtain rod for wrapping a curtain fabric. The roll control device has a cover, a gear set mounted in the cover, and a one-way transmission assembly and a damping member respectively mounted on a first gear and a second gear of the gear set. The damping member provides rotational resistance to the first gear. When expanding the curtain fabric, with the one-way transmission assembly, the curtain fabric can be easily drawn. When retracting the curtain fabric, with the torsional resistance, the curtain fabric can be smoothly and gently wrapped on the curtain rod without causing noise and excessive vibration.
Apparatus and method for controlling an in-vehicle lighting environment
An apparatus for controlling an in-vehicle lighting environment includes: a passenger state determination unit that determines a state of a passenger using a gaze of the passenger photographed by a camera of a vehicle; a driving state determination unit that determines a driving state of the vehicle using an acceleration value measured by an acceleration sensor of the vehicle; an external environment state determination unit that determines an external environment state of the vehicle using an external illuminance value measured by an external illuminance sensor of the vehicle; and a lighting environment control unit that controls an illuminance and a color of a first light disposed inside the vehicle based on data determined by at least one determination unit among the passenger state, driving state, and external environment state determination units.
