Systems and methods for automatically activating a sunshade for a vehicle
Methods and systems for controlling a sunshade of a vehicle. The methods and systems receive a route plan from a first location to a second location, predict a sun parameter indicative of sun glare on the window for the route plan based on solar direction and vehicle heading at distributed locations throughout the route plan, and activate the sunshade based on the sun parameter so as to shade the window.
Photovoltaic solar shade
There are provided various implementations of a solar shade for covering a transmissive panel such as a window, door, sunroof or skylight of a vehicle, building, or home. Such a solar shade includes a photovoltaic sheet, which may be a flexible sheet. The solar shade is configured to absorb heat produced due to sunlight transmitted through the transmissive panel and impinging on the solar shade. The photovoltaic sheet is configured to generate an electrical current using the sunlight.
Structure for unifying motor for use with rear curtain and power trunk
A structure for unifying a motor for use with a rear curtain and a power trunk is provided. The structure includes an electromagnetic clutch, which is connected to a hinge arm of a trunk lid via a trunk wire and is connected to a rear curtain via a curtain wire and selectively transmits driving force to the trunk wire or to the curtain wire. Additionally, a rotary motor is connected to the electromagnetic clutch and supplies driving force to the electromagnetic clutch. The trunk wire and the curtain wire are operated by a single rotary motor. Accordingly, the production cost and weight of a vehicle are reduced.
Motorized window shades for RVs
A motorized shade assembly is provided having a discontinuous web extending between two rollers, one of which is motorized and the other is tensioned or biased toward rotation away from the other roller. The roller motor can be mounted inside of one of the rollers, and the tensioning device, such as a torsion spring, can be mounted inside of the other roller. The web includes a shade portion and a strap portion, with a rigid draw bar at the junction of those portions. Rotation of the rollers causes the strap portion to wrap over one of the rollers as the shade portion unwraps from the other roller. The shade assembly can be positioned between an inclined or curved vehicle window and an interior shroud for the window, such as found with a cab-over window of a Class B motorhome. The draw bar and fasteners connecting the strap to the draw bar facilitate movement of the shade when in contact with the shroud. Friction reducing tape or surface treatment on the periphery of the window opening in the shroud can also facilitate movement of the shade when in contact with the shroud. Motor actuation can be hardwired to a desired location within the vehicle, or wirelessly controlled by the user, as with an RF device.
Window shading apparatus having installation width adjustment function
The present invention relates to a window shading apparatus comprising a blind sheet module including a blind sheet which is unwound when pulled in a wound state so as to cover a window of a vehicle and a pair of guide rails, each having one side connected to one side of the blind sheet module, the guide rails respectively guiding movements of the pair of cord units. Each of the guide rails includes a location adjusting unit which is to be fixed after a connecting location with respect to the blind sheet module is adjusted. The window shading apparatus capable of adjusting the installation width according to the present invention can adjust the width corresponding to an installation space, in particular, the installation width, while maintaining the operating performance of the shading apparatus at the same level, thereby improving completeness thereof.
DEVICE FOR COVERING A SURFACE INCLUDING INTERLOCKING MEANS
A device (1) for covering a surface is provided. The device includes: (a) a cover (10) of which each longitudinal edge is provided with a bead (12); (b) a rotatably mounted drum (2) capable of winding or unwinding the cover, movable on rails placed on either side of said surface; and (c) a system for continuously locking/unlocking the bead in the rails during the translation of the drum.
VEHICLE AUTOMATIC WINDOW SUNSCREENS
Vehicle automatic window sunscreens are provided, which may comprise a plurality of roller shades for the windows of a vehicle. Sunscreens are installed for the side windows of the vehicle in addition to the windshield and rear window. The sunscreens block or filter radiant energy to reduce the effects of sunlight and heat on occupants and interior components of, and personal property in, the vehicle. The sunscreens protect infants and children if they are forgotten and left in the vehicle during sunny, hot days.
Roller blind arrangement with lateral guide
A roller blind arrangement for shading a transparent vehicle section having a roller blind web, which can be wound to form a roller blind winding and is guided at its lateral edges in relation to a vertical longitudinal center plane of the roller blind in each case in one guide rail, as well as a drive device having a drive pinion which drives two driving means which are each guided in one of the guide rails. The driving means are in each case designed as a toothed belt. The toothed belt can have at least one flat surface for coupling to the roller blind web, and the driving means are joined within the guide rails to the roller blind web in each case solely via their respective flat surfaces and are detached from the roller blind web in a section arranged between the guide rails and the roller blind winding.
Motorized Windshield Shade Device
A motorized windshield shade device is disclosed that comprises a shade component that can be raised and lowered via a push button or by turning off or starting the vehicle ignition. The shade component travels between at least one track and pulley system and motor positioned within the A-pillar of a vehicle between the windshield and the pillar trim. When not in use, the shade component is concealed at the base of the dashboard of the vehicle. Further, the top of the shade component comprises a flexible rod, which allows the shade component to conform to the shape of a windshield. The shade component is raised or lowered over a vehicle windshield to keep the vehicle's interior cool and prevent UV damage.
