Door handle device for vehicle
A door handle device for a vehicle includes a handle body configured to be rotationally operated, an output lever configured to be operated in a plane parallel to a rotation axis of the handle body, a clutch member; and a detection member. The clutch member is configured to move translationally in a plane parallel to an operating surface of the output lever, configured to be driven by the handle body in a rotational operation direction of the handle body, and configured to move between a connected location and a disconnected location along a rotation axis of the handle body.
Communication seat-type vehicle
A vehicle including a front wall to form a cabin space to accommodate passengers, communication seats for the passengers seated thereon to talk face-to-face, and front and rear wheels. Front ends of upper and lower portions of the front wall are positioned forward of a rear end of an intermediate portion of the front wall. The front wall includes a front face-up surface, of which a front end is not forward of the front end of the lower portion of the front wall, and is not rearward of front ends of the front wheels, and of which a rear end is not forward of the front end of the upper portion of the front wall, and is not rearward of the rear end of the intermediate portion of the front wall. A front end of an upper portion of the cabin space is positioned forward of a front end of the intermediate portion of the cabin space.
Doors with adaptive positioning
Doors on a vehicle may be controlled by a door positioning system that moves the doors freely and fluidly relative to the body of the vehicle. The doors may include front and rear doors on each side of the vehicle. The door positioning system may control the movement and positioning of each door using a door mechanism coupled between the door and the body of the vehicle. The door positioning system may determine a position or path of motion for each door based on sensor data and user input. The door positioning system may issue corresponding control signals to actuators in the door mechanism to position the door accordingly. For example, the front door may slide open at an angle to accommodate an angled tire. Front and rear doors may open in opposite directions to create a large, unobstructed space for passengers to enter and exit the vehicle.
Vehicle side structure
The present application prevents an engaging pin or a catcher pin from damaging an upper surface of a side sill or a lower surface of a side door when the door is closed, and reduces a height of the side sill over which an occupant steps when getting into a vehicle. A vehicle side structure includes an engaging portion that is at least partially provided between a lower part of a side door and a side sill and provides engagement between the lower part and the side sill. The engaging portion includes an engaging pin provided to protrude from an upper surface of the side sill, and a catcher pin that is provided in the lower part of the side door, receives the engaging pin brought into a space above the lower part of the side door, and engages a tip of the engaging pin.
Vehicle door assembly
A vehicle door assembly includes an inner door panel, a pillar panel and a first cushioning pad. The inner door panel has an attachment area, a first edge portion and a second edge portion, with the first edge portion defining hinge attachment locations. The pillar panel is fixedly attached to at least the second edge portion and the attachment area such that the inner door panel and the pillar panel define a hollow B-pillar structure. The pillar panel further includes an offset portion that is spaced apart from a central portion of the attachment area of the inner door panel such that the attachment area and the offset portion define a recessed area therebetween. The first cushioning pad has a main body installed within the recessed area between the offset portion of the pillar panel and the inner door panel.

SLIDING DOOR STRUCTURE
A wall surface of a reinforcing bracket is provided with engagement holes (engaged portions) on a front side and a rear side, respectively. A lower arm of a front door and a lower arm of a rear door are each provided with an engagement projection (engaging portion) that engages with an engagement hole when the front door and the rear door fully close.
SLIDING DOOR STRUCTURE
A latch member for full opening includes a latch member for full opening that operates a latch claw into an engagement position or a non-engagement position with a striker. The latch member for full opening is configured of a first member on a sliding door side of a turning shaft, and is configured of a second member operated by the first member on a vehicle body side of the turning shaft.
VEHICLE WITH TWIN CANOPY DOORS
A vehicle may include a frame structure, a body mounted to the frame structure, and a door structure defining a first side segment defining a portion of a first side of the vehicle, a second side segment defining a portion of a second side of the vehicle opposite the first side, and a roof segment extending from the first side segment to the second side segment and defining a portion of a top of the vehicle. The vehicle may also include a door mechanism coupled to the door structure and configured to move the door structure between a closed position and an open position, relative to the body.
ENTRANCE HANDRAIL
An entrance handrail includes: a base portion rotatably provided with an up-down direction as an axial direction; a rail portion extending from a lower portion of the base portion and holding a slide member to be slidable, the slide member being attached to a sliding door; a first handrail body extending from an upper portion of the base portion, disposed on a vehicle cabin side when the sliding door closes the entrance, and projecting outward of the vehicle such that a passenger can hold the first handrail body when the sliding door opens the entrance; and second handrail body disposed on the vehicle cabin side with respect of the rail portion when the sliding door closes the entrance and disposed inward of the rail portion in a width direction of the entrance such that the passenger can hold the second handrail body when the sliding door opens the entrance.
