Low Voltage System Controller for a Truck
A truck cap assembly that selectively covers a truck bed of a truck is provided. The truck cap assembly may include a cap that sets on opposing side walls of the truck; a cap door located on the cap; a latch bar located on the cap; a controller located on the cap door; and a latch release assembly which includes an actuator and a latch arm. The controller is in electrical communication with an actuator that is coupled to a latch arm. A signal from the controller activates the actuator to move the latch arm. The latch arm is releasable from the latch bar to release the cap door.

A truck cover system is proposed according to some embodiments of the present invention. The truck cover system includes: a rail coupled to a wall of a truck, wherein the rail comprises a channel on a top portion of the rail and a latching slot at a side of the rail; a latching insert inserted in the latching slot, wherein the latching insert comprises a first through hole and a positioning hole; a latching positioner comprising a first side and a second side opposite the first side, wherein the latching positioner comprises a second through hole aligned with the first through hole and a positioning pin aligned with the positioning hole, wherein the latching positioner further comprise a stop plate pivotably coupled to the second side of the latching positioner; and a latching housing releasably latched to the latching positioner.
Storage unit having adjustable volume
A rigid extendable storage unit that comprises a front wall and a back wall positioned adjacent to the front wall in a folded state and configured to be deployed opposite the front wall, wherein the back wall has an opening configured to be covered. Side walls that are made of at least one section are provided and positioned adjacent to the front wall in a folded state and extended between the front wall and the back wall in a deployed state. A roof is positioned adjacent to the front wall in a folded state and extended to enclose a volume formed between the front wall, the back wall and the side walls. In the folded state, the extendable storage unit occupies minimal area of the surface or the platform it is mounted on and transforming the storage unit from folded state to deployed state and vice versa can be handled manually or automatically.

TARPAULIN PROTECTION DEVICES
A flutter reducer for protecting at least partially a tarpaulin defining a tarpaulin rear end edge from flutter induced damages when the tarpaulin is secured laterally across a container moved at speed, the container defining a container aperture delimited by an aperture peripheral edge. The flutter reducer is operatively coupled to the tarpaulin so that when the tarpaulin is extended across the container aperture configuration and the container is moved by the vehicle, the flutter reducer limits movements of the tarpaulin at its tarpaulin rear end edge to reduce flutter due to relative wind caused by movement through air of the container.
Power-actuated jeep wrangler fabric top and associated methods
A power-actuated fabric top for a vehicle includes a fabric top section configured to be adapted between a folded position and an unfolded position, guide rails statically affixed to an existing frame of the vehicle, and a power-actuated displacement mechanism for retracting and advancing the fabric top section between the folded position and the unfolded position. Such a power-actuated displacement mechanism is operably coupled to the guide rails. The fabric top section is configured to have a substantially horizontal travel path along an anterior portion of the guide rails and thereby does not pivot up and away from the guide rails. The fabric top section is operably coupled to the guide rails and responsive to an operating mode of the power-actuated displacement mechanism. The folded position of the fabric top section is piled up inside the existing tailgate portion of the existing vehicle.
PICKUP CAB MOUNT PACK
A cover for a truck bed that can be horizontally traversed between expanded and collapsed positions is shown. Since the cover is horizontally traversed, the person manipulating the cover need not lift the cover vertically in order to reconfigure the cover between the expanded and collapsed positions. Women and elderly people who are generally not as strong as men can manipulate the cover.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE NAVIGATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH A REMOVABLE COVERING SYSTEM
The invention relates to a system for controlling the navigation of a motor vehicle equipped with a covering system that can be removed depending on the cargo being transported, comprising a system for controlling a vehicle and a remote site, said control system comprising: a first comparison means capable of periodically comparing the positioning signal received from a means for identifying the position of the removable covering, with a value associated with a position of said removable covering; a control means capable of transmitting a volume request to a means for determining the volume that is being transported, and a position request to a positioning device, upon receiving a signal from said first comparison means; transmitting and receiving means capable of transmitting the volume and the position that have been determined to a remote site and capable of receiving at least one request to load said remote site, including at least one load position, load description and load volume; means for displaying the loading request; and a remote site that is equipped with processing and storing means, capable of receiving the volume and position of the vehicle as determined, of receiving at least one loading request for the vehicle, and of determining whether said vehicle can accept the loading request depending on the vehicle specifications, the vehicle position and the loading request.
