A tonneau cover assembly that selectively covers a truck bed of a truck is provided. The tonneau cover assembly includes a cover and a longitudinally extending rail located adjacent a sidewall of the truck bed. The longitudinally extending rail includes an attachment member. The attachment member extends longitudinally along with the rail and at least a portion of the attachment member is located over a portion of the bed. The cover includes a stiffener located adjacent the attachment member of the longitudinally extending rail.

A vehicle cover assembly comprising; a flexible cover; one or more side rails; and a fastener assembly that is secured to a vehicle bed comprising; a cover fastener that is on one or more edge regions of the flexible cover; and a side rail fastener with one or more rows of fasteners comprising; a plurality of dual hooks on the base that releasably connect with the cover fastener of the flexible cover; and a plurality of spacers between the plurality of dual hooks.

A vehicle cover assembly comprising; a flexible cover; one or more side rails; and a fastener assembly that is secured to a vehicle bed comprising; a cover fastener that is on one or more edge regions of the flexible cover; and a side rail fastener with one or more rows of fasteners comprising; a plurality of dual hooks on the base that releasably connect with the cover fastener of the flexible cover; and a plurality of spacers between the plurality of dual hooks.

A door rail surround assembly incorporating an anti-rotation feature added to a door rail clamp of the assembly. The anti-rotation feature is a net fit cross vehicle with a hole in the vehicle sport bar thereby eliminating any free movement of the door rail clamp assembly. A second clamp is rotatable for also receiving a fastener of the door rail clamp. A clamp load is applied to the vehicle when the fastener is inserted and torqued to its predetermined value. This clamping load prevents any free movement in the door rail clamp assembly when the door seal load is applied when the vehicle door is closed.

A tail gate air diverter tarp provides a streamlined airflow across the bed of a truck to substantially reduce drag on the truck and improve gas mileage. The tail gate air diverter tarp is configured for a universal fit in a truck bed across a variety of manufacturers. The tail gate air diverter tarp has a web reinforced perimeter and a pair of cam buckles attached to the web reinforced perimeter at each corner of the tarp, with one cam buckle oriented in a lateral direction and the other cam buckle oriented in a lateral direction. A cinching strap adjustable couples selected cam buckles with a mount carried in the bed of the truck.

The present invention is directed a tonneau system. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention provide a tonneau system, which includes multiple frame bars interconnected by latches. At least one of latches includes a rod that is operably coupled to its main portion, which includes an opening to accommodate the rod. The rod attaches to a hook jaw that includes two openings for attaching to the truck frame. There are other embodiments as well.

An embodiment provides a truck cover system that includes a side rail, a cover, and a latching mechanism. The latching mechanisms include a housing attached to the cover, a latch extending through a first end of the housing and configured to engage with a bottom portion of the side rail, a cap attached to a second end of the housing, a plunger attached to the latch and having a first plunger end partially extending through an opening of the cap, an anchor element attached to the first plunger end preventing the first plunger end from entering the housing, and a spring wrapped around the plunger. When the spring is compressed, the latch may disengage with the side rail, and, when the spring is uncompressed, the latch may engage with the side rail.

A tonneau cover assembly that selectively covers a truck bed of a truck is provided. A foldable support structure for a soft high top of a pickup truck includes an installation base frame, a support frame, and a folding support rod. The installation base frame is fixedly connected with or integrally formed with a vehicle body. The support frame is hinged with the installation base frame. The folding support rod includes one end hinged with the support frame, and the other end fixedly connected with the installation base frame. The support frame of the foldable support structure for a soft high top of a pickup truck can be folded by the folding support rod, which occupies a small space.

A tonneau system for use with a bed of a pickup truck. The tonneau system includes a tonneau cover and latch assemblies to retain the tonneau cover to the bed of the truck. The cover is moveable between an unfolded positon where the cover encloses the bed and a folded position where the bed is uncovered. The latch assemblies can include latch bases that define discreet mounting positons for a latch handle assembly that employ retention members to retain the latch handle assembly in a particular mounting positon. Another latch assembly includes a latch base having an endless belt to positon the latch handle assembly. A rail attachment is also provided to mount to the bed and provide an anchor point for keep in to tonneau cover engage over the bed.
