LIFT ASSIST MECHANISM FOR SOFT TOP
A frame and soft top assembly which includes lift assist and improved fabric management. The assembly includes a pair of front arms pivotally attached to rear side rails and are attached to the vehicle roll bar. A plurality of fabric control bows connected with pivot links provide fabric control to the top material during pivoting of the front side rails. A pair of bow pivot links are pivotally connected to the rear side rail. A rear gas strut and a front gas strut are attached longitudinally to either side of the pair of bow pivot links, one providing lift assistance at the start of the pivotal opening of the sunroof while the other of the struts gets loaded as the top is deployed and butters the closing of the roof which also loads the strut to provide assistance in the closing direction when it is time to close the sunroof.
Folding top comprising a top cover
A folding top for a convertible vehicle, is provided having a top linkage and a top cover which may have a first fabric cut and a second fabric cut connected to the first fabric cut. The two fabric cuts may be connected via a stretchable portion which is made of an elastically stretchable fabric whose stretchability is greater than that of the two fabric cuts.

Removable convertible top for convertible vehicle
A removable convertible top for a convertible vehicle. The convertible top includes a flexible water-tight canvas provided with longitudinal reinforcements, the ends of which are suitable for resting on the bars of a vehicle; curved rigid side reinforcements, arranged on the opposite sides of the canvas, parallel to the longitudinal reinforcements, and respectively provided with sets of hooks for engaging with complementary coupling structures provided on the vehicle. The canvas and side reinforcements interlock to automatically tension the canvas, when the two sets of hooks interlock with the coupling structures.
FORWARD TILTING PROTECTIVE CANOPY TOP FOR THREE-WHEELED VEHICLES AND AUTOCYCLES
A forward tilting removable canopy top for a three-wheeled vehicle and or autocycle that are open to the elements. The canopy comprises a ridged structure covered by fabrics of various types or by ridged hard material. The removable canopy top is supported by two detachable front A-arm mounting brackets and one rear support bracket. Rear support bracket encompasses a securing latch when released allows the canopy to tilt forward via quick release pivot points for rotation about a first, fixed axis located on each front A-arm mounting bracket. Canopy top can be removed at fixed location points atop same afore mentioned A-arm mounting brackets via quick release bolts and or knob. Forward tilting of the canopy top around fixed A-arm mounting points allows easy entry and exit for vehicle occupants while providing protections from the elements. Canopy top is designed to be stored off vehicle when not in use.
