CONVERTIBLE MOTOR VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A FOLDABLE ROOF OF A CONVERTIBLE MOTOR VEHICLE
A motor vehicle comprising a frame defining a cabin, a foldable roof movable relative to said frame and adapted to selectively cover, in use, the cabin at a top thereof and a stowage compartment adapted to contain the foldable roof is disclosed. The motor vehicle further comprises a sensory system adapted to detect a quantity associated with the humidity of the air inside the stowage compartment, signalling means adapted to signal a risk of damage to the foldable roof and an electronic control unit operatively connected to the sensory system and the signalling means. The electronic control unit is programmed to compare the quantity detected by the sensory system with a threshold value and to command the signalling means to signal the risk of damage to the foldable roof, when the quantity detected is greater than the threshold value.
CONVERTIBLE TOP HAVING A ROOF SKIN ARRANGEMENT AND CONVERTIBLE TOP LINKAGE
A convertible top comprising a roof skin arrangement and a convertible top linkage by which the roof skin arrangement is displaceable between a cover position spanning the vehicle interior and a storage position releasing the vehicle interior towards the top and which has a link arrangement on either side of a vertical longitudinal convertible-top center plane, the link arrangements each being mounted so as to be pivotable on a respective main bearing, which is displaceable on a guide rail by a drive arrangement, the drive arrangement having a lever arrangement which is hinged to the main bearings and which is driven by at least one drive motor.
CONVERTIBLE TOP HAVING A CONVERTIBLE TOP LINKAGE
A convertible top having a top linkage, displaceable between a cover position spanning a vehicle interior and a storage position releasing the vehicle interior towards the top and having a link arrangement on each side in relation to a vertical longitudinal convertible-top center plane, the link arrangements having a rear main-link arrangement pivotably mounted on a corresponding main bearing, and a front bearing link, on which a rigid cover element is fastened which extends in the transverse convertible-top direction and fixable to a vehicle front header when in the cover position. A stop link arrangement is pivotably mounted on the front bearing link and has a stop link having a stop surface, the stop link taking up a rest position, where the stop surface is exposed in the cover position and being pivoted to an active position, where the stop surface abuts against counter stop element in the storage position.
