Disclosed herewith is a truck cap for removably covering a vehicle bed. The truck cap includes a first and second cover member extending between a cab and a tailgate of the vehicle. The cover members are pivotably connected to driver and passenger side panels which adjoin the vehicle bed. The cover members pivot between an open position and a closed position. Raised portions are formed along the top surfaces and extend over abutting edges of the cover members opposite the pivot edges. The abutting edges are in abutment when the cover members are in the closed position. The cover members are preferably formed of a plastic material by a rotational molding process.

The truck bed enclosure is an apparatus that provides a comfortable and secure environment within a truck. The apparatus includes a first bed cover, a second bed cover, a first side rack, a second rack, and a truck bed. The first bed cover and the second bed cover uphold the first side rack the second side rack, respectively, as well as open and close the truck bed. The first side rack and the second side rack serve as a rack to secure and uphold various items while in a retracted configuration. The first side rack and the second side rack also serve as a bench while in an extended configuration. The first bed cover and second bed cover also include a first window and second window. The truck bed upholds the first bed cover, the second bed cover, a variety of items, and individuals.

A vehicle includes a vehicle body including a truck bed at least partially defining a cargo area, a vehicle interior with front passenger seating and rear passenger seating, and a modular, multi-component hard top assembly. The hard top assembly is configured to selectively and removably couple interchangeably between (i) the vehicle body to provide an enclosed configuration at least partially enclosing the vehicle interior, and (ii) the truck bed to function as a truck bed storage cover to enclose the cargo area and provide a securable storage compartment. The multi-component hard top assembly is detachable from the vehicle body to provide an open air configuration for the vehicle interior.

An automatic hatch assembly for bulk material containers includes a hatch cover which covers a fill opening of the container, and may be retrofitted to existing containers equipped with a conventional hatch cover. A drive unit is operable to open and close the hatch cover, and a locking assembly actuates an extendable lock member. Optionally, a pneumatic seal is provided within the cover for sealing the container from the outside environment. The locking assembly is adapted to resist opening forces applied to the cover, such as when the container is pressurized, and a sequencing controller may be provided to facilitate automated operation of the opening/closing, locking/unlocking, and/or sealing/unsealing of the hatch cover.

A truck bed cover (1) having a base unit (4) that provides a user with multiple storage configurations, increased access to a truck bed (28) and increased functionality. In addition, the base unit provides attachment points for a hinged truck bed cap (19) and/or a tonneau cover (35). At least one panel (36) may be attached between the cap and a truck bed to create a tented enclosure (37).

An innovative article and manufacturing method therefore. The article is a truck cap which may be selectively assembled and mounted to an associated pickup truck bed by a single person. The article features two primary members which can be selectively opened or closed to carry cargo. The article includes a locking mechanism which enables the contents of the truck bed to be safely locked and secured.

A transport container configured for use with a dump truck tractor trailer. The container comprises: a) a pivotable lid configured to cover and expose an open top of the container, the open top allowing addition of contents to the container; b) a pivotable end gate configured to cover and expose an open back end of the container, the open back end allowing dumping of contents of the container; and c) at least one baffle inside the container, the baffle pivotably connected to opposing sidewalls of the container and forming a substantially vertical barrier preventing substantial movement of contents of the container past the baffle during dumping and transport when locked in a substantially vertical position by an operator-controlled retention mechanism operatively connected between the baffle and at least one of the opposing sidewalls of the container.

A moveable tonneau cover includes multiple wheels and multiple hinge elements. A tonneau cover mechanism includes multiple tracks each including an upper portion and a lower portion, and a switch that transitions to connect with the upper portion and the lower portion based on a weight of the movable tonneau cover such that the moveable tonneau cover is configured to move between a first position above a truck bed and a second position above the first position.
