The molding portion main body is configured to come into contact with a portion of the closed door.

An over-molded material secures the first division post profile to the fixed window pane, the over-molded material includes a first over-molded portion extending between the division post exterior wall and the fixed pane interior surface and a second over-molded portion extending between the lateral wall and the interior surface. The first over-molded portion has a first thickness which is constant along a major portion of the first over-molded portion. The second over-molded portion has a second thickness which is constant along a major portion of the second portion due to a co-extruded feature on the first division post profile.

An encapsulated fixed window module for a motor vehicle includes a fixed window pane, a first division post profile defining a longitudinal groove configured to receive a guide carried by a movable window pane, and having an exterior wall facing a fixed pane interior surface. The disclosure describes a tempered vacuum glass, which comprises: at least two glass sheets arranged parallel to each other; surrounding edges of adjacent glass sheets being sealed using an edge sealing structure; and support members placed in an array between the adjacent glass sheets to form a vacuum space. The edge sealing structure is a metallic edge-sealing structure. The structure comprises a first transition layer, a first metallized layer, a first intermetallic compound layer, a solder layer, a second intermetallic compound layer, a second metallized layer, and a second transition layer stacked in that order. The first and second metallized layers are in a spongy skeleton structure formed by sintering a metal paste. The first and second transition layers are formed by sintering the metal paste on the adjacent glass sheets, and contain a glass phase layer including metallic particles and a metal oxide layer with a net structure.

A vehicle includes a window having an internal opening defined by an angled edge forming a clear space generally shaped as a truncated pyramid. An operable window panel is slidable relative to the internal opening to define open and closed positions. A compressible elastic sealing member is disposed along the angled edge, wherein the sealing member defines a substantially convex profile when the operable window panel in the open position. A guide assembly is positioned adjacent an interior surface of the window and adapted to guide the operable window panel between the open and closed positions. The closed position is defined by an outer surface of the operable window panel being co-planar with an exterior surface of the window. The closed position is further characterized by the sealing member being deformed to occupy at least the seam defined between the window and the operable window panel.
