Fishing Line Reel with In-Line Payout Control
A reel for fishing line or the like provides for extremely rapid payout by releasing the line to unwind by sliding rapidly around a guide surrounding the line spool and by rotation of the line spool itself. A handle extending rearwardly from the reel controls a line guide preventing sliding of the fishing line around the guide and providing controllable friction and locking of rotation of the line spool only when actuated by the user to permit retraction of the line or controlled tensioning of the line.
Knob of fishing reel and method of fabricating the same
One object is to provide a knob of a fishing reel that can be fabricated easily at low cost and with high strength. In accordance with one aspect, a knob of a fishing reel includes a core rotatably supported via a spindle, and a tubular grip member formed of an elastic material and fitted round the core, wherein the core is provided with a deformation-applying portion for contacting the inner surface of the grip member and causing the outer shape of the grip member to deform and bulge in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the spindle.
PULL TO TURN LEVER DRAG PRESET KNOB
A preset knob is provided that is not subject to rotation during normal operation of a drag lever used in association with fishing reels having adjustable drag settings. In order to rotate the preset knob in order to adjust its drag settings, it first must be pulled outwardly. As such, when the reel is in use, the preset knob cannot be accidently adjusted by an angler operating the drag lever.
Kind of spinning fishing reel
The present invention discloses a spinning reel. The spinning reel includes a gear sleeve, said gear sleeve is provided with a helical gear, the main body is pivoted with an face gear for driving the rotation of the helical gear, the face gear is connected with a driving mechanism, said gear sleeve is coaxially penetrated with a main shaft sliding axially inside it, a transmission structure is provided between the gear sleeve and the main shaft for driving the synchronous rotation of the main shaft, a reciprocating driving mechanism is provided between said driving mechanism and the main shaft for driving the main shaft reciprocating drive mechanism for moving the main shaft back and forth, the main shaft is fixed with a spool for winding the fishing line, and the main body is fixed with a winding guide for guiding the fish line to the spool.
Handle assembly
A present handle assembly is mounted to a handle shaft of a fishing reel. The handle assembly includes a handle arm and a handle knob. The handle arm is mounted to the handle shaft. The handle knob is mounted to the handle arm. The handle arm herein includes an arm body made of metal and a resin portion. The metallic arm body has a mount part and an arm part. The mount part is mounted to the handle shaft. The arm part is integrally formed with the mount part. The resin portion covers the mount part and at least a part of the arm part.
ROTATION TRANSMISSION MECHANISM FOR SPINNING REEL
A rotation transmission mechanism includes a drive shaft, a drive gear, a pinion gear, a first bearing, and a positioning structure. The drive shaft is rotatable with respect to a chassis. The drive gear is unitarily rotatable with the drive shaft. The pinion gear is rotatably mounted to the chassis and disposed in a skew direction to the drive shaft, the pinion gear meshed with the drive gear. The first bearing is mounted to the chassis, is disposed between the chassis and the drive shaft, and rotatably supports the drive shaft. The positioning structure is mounted to an end of the drive shaft, and positions the drive shaft with respect to the first bearing.
CLUTCH CONTROL MECHANISM FOR DUAL-BEARING REEL
A clutch control mechanism configured to allow or block a transmission of a rotation of a handle to a spool in response to either a rotating of the handle or an operating of a clutch operating member. The clutch control mechanism includes a clutch cam, a clutch plate, and a positioning structure. The clutch cam is rotatably mounted to the reel unit, and is rotatable between a first position and a second position. The first position blocks the transmission of the rotation of the handle. The second position allows the transmission of the rotation of the handle. The clutch plate is coupled to the clutch operating member and to the clutch cam, and is unitarily rotatable with the clutch cam. The positioning structure to position the clutch cam from outside in a radial direction about a rotational axis of the clutch cam when the clutch cam is disposed in the first position.
Dual-driving one-way rotational device and reel including same
A dual-driving one-way rotational device includes: a body part; a clutch bearing part configured to guide the rotation of the body part in one direction; a knob part configured to be rotated in one direction in the state of being connected to an object to be rotated or to prevent the body part from being rotated together when the object to be rotated and the clutch bearing part are rotated in the same direction; a manual rotation lever installed on the body part; and a power transmission shaft coupled to the knob part, and configured to transfer the power of a power source. The knob part includes a rotation portion and a head portion. A spiral is formed on the inner circumferences of the rotation portion and the head portion. The power transmission shaft has the outer circumference on which a spiral is formed.
Support structure for fishing reel
A support structure for a fishing reel includes a first portion, a second portion, a first shaft bearing and a second shaft bearing arranged side by side in the axial direction along an axis between the outer circumferential surface of the first portion and the inner circumferential surface of the second portion, a spacer disposed between an inner race of the first shaft bearing and an inner race of the second shaft bearing, and a regulating member configured to restrict movement an outer race of the first shaft bearing or an outer race of the second shaft bearing, in a direction in which one of the outer race of the first shaft bearing or the outer race of the second shaft bearing is separated from the other of the outer race of the first shaft bearing or the outer race of the second shaft bearing.
Enclosure for a Fishing Reel in the Form of a Toy Vehicle
A fishing reel which includes a covering or enclosure that can also be functionally used as a toy car when detached from the fishing rod. The fishing reel functions as traditional spincast fishing reel when attached to the fishing rod. The reel enclosure is formed in the shape of a toy vehicle and is detachable from the fishing rod. Once removed, the reel enclosure can be reassembled and used as a toy vehicle independent of the rod.
