The worm shaft including a first end, a second end, a shaft body and a helical groove. The first end is on the same side as the first reel body. The second end is on the same side as the second reel body. The shaft body extends between the first end and the second end. The helical groove is on the shaft body. The guide member includes a tubular shape, is outside the worm shaft in a radial direction from a rotational axis of the worm shaft, and extends between the first reel body and the second reel body. The first seal member seals between the first end of the worm shaft and the guide member.
Dual-bearing reel and clutch mechanism thereof
A clutch mechanism includes a clutch portion and a pinion gear. The pinion gear has an engaging part and a gear part. The engaging part is located on a first end as a spool-side end of the pinion gear and is capable of being engaged with the clutch portion. The gear part is meshed with the drive gear. The gear part has helical teeth enabling the pinion gear to be urged toward the spool by the drive gear. The engaging part has a bottom and a first wall. The first wall extends from the bottom toward the first end and tilts in the same direction as the helical teeth with respect to the spool shaft such that the pinion gear is urged oppositely to the spool by the clutch portion when the engaging part is engaged with the clutch portion and receives transmission of rotation in a fishing-line releasing direction from the spool.
SPINNING REEL
A spinning reel that forwardly releases a fishing line includes a reel unit, a handle, a drive shaft, a joint structure, and a rotation transmission mechanism. The handle includes a handle shaft and a handle arm, the handle shaft is rotatably supported by the reel unit at a first position, and the handle arm is mounted to the handle shaft and is unitarily rotatable with the handle shaft. The handle arm extends in a radial direction from a rotational axis of the handle shaft. The drive shaft includes a first end and a second end disposed opposite to the first end, and is rotatably supported by the reel unit at a second position different from the first position. The joint structure joins the handle shaft and the drive shaft, and the handle shaft is unitarily rotatable with the drive shaft.
FISHING REEL EQUIPPED WITH REPLACEABLE HOOD TOP
Provided is a fishing reel equipped with a replaceable hood top. The fishing reel includes: a frame having a mount; two side covers coupled to both sides of the frame; a spool disposed inside the mount of the frame and coupled to the side covers through a shaft; a reel foot coupled to a bottom of the frame to be mounted on a fishing rod; a hood coupled to a top of the frame; a handle coupled to a side of the frame through a shaft to rotate the spool; and a tension nut disposed on a side of the frame to adjust a casting distance by controlling a rotational speed of a spool shaft. The hood has coupling portions, and a replaceable hood top is coupled to the coupling portions.
Hand-held device for powering the rewinding of a fishing reel
A hand-held device for powering the rewinding of a fishing reel which includes a housing having an interior compartment. The spool support shaft of the fishing reel has a gear mounted thereon after the crank handle thereof has been removed. A rechargeable DC battery is mounted in the interior compartment. A DC motor is positioned in the interior compartment and is electrically operated by the DC battery. The DC motor has a drive shaft which is rotatable in a single direction. The drive shaft has a gear mounted thereon. The gear on the spool support shaft may be connected to the gear on the drive shaft of the motor whereby the spool may be rotated to rewind the fishing line onto the spool.
Fishing reel
A fishing reel includes a support member, a supported member, and a seal member. The support member includes a support hole. The supported member includes a supported portion that is disposed inside the support hole, and an inclined portion that is disposed outside the support hole and is formed so that an outer diameter decreases toward the support hole. The seal member is elastically deformable. The seal member is disposed in contact with an end face around the support hole and an outer peripheral surface of the inclined portion.
RECIPROCATING MECHANISM FOR SPINNING REEL AND SPINNING REEL HAVING THE SAME
A reciprocating mechanism for a spinning reel includes a first gear, a second gear, a slider, and an annular elastic body. The first gear is configured to rotate in accordance with rotation of a handle shaft. The second gear includes a gear body configured to mesh with the first gear and a boss protruding from the gear body. The slider has an engagement groove where the boss engages. The slider is configured to move a spool shaft in a front-rear direction as the boss moves along the engagement groove. The annular elastic body is attached to the boss so as to contact an open end of the engagement groove.
Drag adjusting reel assembly
A drag adjusting reel assembly suitable for facilitating selective manual adjustment of a drag force applied to a fishing line may include a reel mount bracket configured for mounting on a fishing bow. A reel shaft may be carried by the reel mount bracket. A line spool may be drivingly engaged for rotation by the reel shaft. A drag adjusting mechanism may include a drag adjusting bracket carried by the reel mount bracket. A spool extension may extend from and be rotational with the line spool. The spool extension may be disposed adjacent to the drag adjusting bracket. A drag adjusting lever may include a cam having a cam surface configured to selectively actuate the spool extension against the drag adjusting bracket. The cam may be rotational between a free-spooling position in which the cam surface disengages or minimally engages the spool extension and the spool extension disengages or minimally engages the drag adjusting bracket, respectively, and a maximal drag, spool locking position in which the cam surface maximally engages the spool extension and the spool extension maximally engages the drag adjusting bracket. At least one lever arm may extend from the cam.
SPINNING REEL
A spinning reel includes a reel body, a rotor, a spool shaft, and a drive body. The drive body has a shaft, a first gear disposed on the shaft for rotating the rotor, and a second gear disposed on the shaft for moving the spool shaft. The shaft, the first gear, and the second gear are integrally formed by forging. The first gear includes a first disk part disposed on an outer circumferential surface of the shaft, and a first tooth part protruding axially from the first disk part. The second gear includes a second disk part disposed on the outer circumferential surface of the shaft to be spaced apart from the first disk part, and a second tooth part protruding from the second disk part radially away from an axis of the shaft. The second tooth part has a tip diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the first tooth part.
Bottle-Style Reel Bow-Fishing Reel Out of Plane Bottle Axis
A bottle-style reel for bow-fishing and the like provides a retriever bottle that is tipped out of the vertical plane defined by the crank axis and the rotation of interengaging wheels that grip the fishing line and push it into the retriever bottle. In this way the retriever mechanism of the interengaging wheels can be aligned with the bow grip for reduced torque and simplified mounting.
