HYBRID VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR HYBRID VEHICLE
When an output limitation value of a battery is equal to or less than a threshold, an electronic control unit determines that basic torque is able to be output from a second motor to a drive shaft. Then, the electronic control unit sets a predetermined value as a target motoring rotation speed for ending motoring of an engine by a first motor. When the output limitation value is greater than the threshold, the electronic control unit determines that the basic torque is unable to be output from the second motor to the drive shaft at the time of starting the engine, and sets a value smaller than the predetermined value as the target motoring rotation speed.
HYBRID DRIVE SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND METHOD TO OPERATE THE SAME
A hybrid drive system for electric vehicle is disclosed. The system includes a rear wheel. The system also includes a first motor mechanically coupled to the rear wheel and an internal combustion engine. The first motor is configured to drive power for the electrical vehicle to reach a fraction of a predetermined threshold value of rotations per minute (RPM). The system also includes a second motor mechanically coupled to the internal combustion engine via the chain drive transmission unit with a one way bearing. The second motor is configured to receive an activation signal to power the internal combustion engine to transfer the power driven to the rear wheel via the continuously variable transmission unit upon attaining the fraction of the predetermined threshold value of rotations per minute (RPM) by the first motor.
HYBRID VEHICLE
A hybrid vehicle includes: an oil passage including a common oil passage through which lubricating oil discharged from an oil pump flows, an engine lubricating oil passage extending from the common oil passage toward an engine internal space, and a transmission lubricating oil passage extending from the common oil passage toward a transmission internal space; and a variable throttle valve that can change a flow rate in the transmission lubricating oil passage. The variable throttle valve increases an opening degree of the variable throttle valve in a mode transition in which a first traveling mode in which the hybrid vehicle travels by driving power of an engine transitions to a second traveling mode in which the hybrid vehicle stops the engine and travels by the driving power of the electric motor.
Transmission structure of HEV
A transmission structure of a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) may include an engine connected to a front wheel of the hybrid vehicle, a planetary gear part connected to the engine, a first motor generator connected to the planetary gear part, an overdrive brake connected to the first motor generator, and a second motor generator connected to a rear wheel of the hybrid vehicle.

Vehicle Power Module Assemblies and Manifolds
A vehicle power module assembly includes a modular manifold, an upper frame, and a plurality of power stages. The modular manifold includes a first base unit defining an inlet chamber, a second base unit defining an outlet chamber, a mid-unit defining one or more ports open to the chambers, and an upper unit defining a first set of slots and a second set of slots in fluid communication with the chambers via the ports. The plurality of power stages is housed within the frame and each of the power stages are spaced from one another to define inner channels therebetween. The chambers, channels, and ports are arranged with one another such that coolant flowing through the inner channels is in thermal communication with the power stages. The mid-unit may further include flow guides each sized to partially extend into one of the inner channels.
