Pellets for coffee drinks
This invention provides pellets for a coffee drink comprising composition components selected from a group of coffee flavours, foam forming materials, binders, flavour enhancement materials, sugars and sweeteners. Ratio or composition and date of manufacturing of the pellets are impressed on each pellet for identification.
Automated apparatus for manufacturing food tablets for hot beverage brewing
An apparatus for manufacturing tablets for hot beverage brewing includes a reservoir feeding infusible loose food products, a grinding system for the loose food products to obtain grounds of a given size, a moistening system moistening the grounds to a given moisture content, a mixing and homogenizing system for mixing and homogenizing the grounds to a homogeneous mixture, a weighing system of the homogeneous mixture to obtain a dose of predetermined weight, a forming system forming the dose into a tablet of predetermined volume, an irradiation system for electromagnetic irradiation of the tablet to overheat the particles to a partial baking and/or sintering for compactness and self-supporting ability without an enclosure, and a control system acting on the grinding, moistening, homogenizing, system, forming, and irradiating systems to control particle size, moisture content, homogeneity, weight, volume and compactness parameters of the tablet and change water permeability of the tablet accordingly.
System and Method of Making a Soluble Coffee Product
A system and a method of making a soluble coffee product is used to make a serving of fresh coffee on the go that is healthy and matches the user's taste. The overall process starts by mixing the amount of soluble coffee, the first amount of liquid sweetener, and the amount of bee pollen into a quantity of liquid mixture. The quantity of liquid mixture is partitioned into liquid-mixture portions by filling each molding receptacle with a corresponding liquid-mixture portion from the liquid-mixture portions. Each liquid-mixture portion is inserted with a corresponding stick from the lollipop sticks. The liquid-mixture portions are frozen into solid-mixture portions. The solid-mixture portions are removed from the molding receptacles. A liquid-sweetener coating is applied to each solid-mixture portion by dipping each solid-mixture portion into the second amount of liquid sweetener. Finally, the liquid-sweetener coating is frozen into a solid-sweetener coating for each solid-mixture portion.
Coffee composition and items made therefrom
A coated coffee particle and to various items made a coated coffee particle are provided. The coated coffee particle may be formed or molded in to structured coffee composition. The coated coffee particle is suitable for use in one or more of automatic drip coffee makers, single serving coffee makers, percolating coffee makers, moka pot coffee makers, French press coffee makers, vacuum coffee makers, expresso coffee makers, thermal coffee makers, or any combination of two or more thereof.

BEVERAGE PAD
A beverage pad (100) for use in a beverage preparation machine for preparing a beverage comprises an amount of extractable and/or soluble beverage preparation product in a compacted puck (130) enclosed between two sheets of filtering material (110, 120) sealed to each other at a periphery edge of the pad. A first sheet of the two sheets has a bottom portion, side portion and a first edge portion. A second sheet of the two sheets comprises a central portion and a second edge portion. The edge portions of the sheets are sealed to each other forming the periphery edge of the pad. The side portion, bottom portion and central portion define a space holding the compacted puck (130) of extractable and/or soluble beverage preparation product which has a uniform thickness. The bottom portion and central portion are at least substantially flat and parallel to each other on opposite sides of the compacted puck, and the side portion extends perpendicular from the bottom portion around the compacted puck (130) to the periphery edge.
CAPSULE AND PRODUCTION AND USE THEREOF
Capsule for preparing a beverage, in particular a hot beverage, comprising a core material in the form of a compact or a bulk material, wherein the core material is a beverage substance, and a shell encasing the core material, the shell comprising a protein.
COFFEE COMPOSITION AND ITEMS MADE THEREFROM
A structured coffee composition and to various items made using such coffee composition are provided. The structured coffee composition is suitable for use in one or more of automatic drip coffee makers, single serving coffee makers, percolating coffee makers, moka pot coffee makers, French press coffee makers, vacuum coffee makers, expresso coffee makers, thermal coffee makers, or any combination of two or more thereof.
Method and apparatus for making a tablet of powdered products for espresso beverage extraction
A method of making a tablet for hot espresso beverage extraction includes the steps of grinding a brewable product to obtain a powder having a substantially uniform particle size, dosing a predetermined amount of the ground product powder, moistening the powdered product dose, homogenizing the moistened mixture to obtain a powdered product with a substantially uniform moisture content, forming the powdered product dose to obtain a disk-shaped or prismatic tablet, and supplying an amount of energy to the tablet to obtain a substantially compact and integral item. The step of supplying energy is carried out by irradiating the tablet with an electromagnetic wave beam to overheat and partially bake and/or sinter the particles of the powdered product and impart a relatively compact and self-supporting construction to the finished tablet. The electromagnetic wave irradiation step is carried out at the end of the forming step while continuously compressing the dose.
