Deformable display device for vehicle
The present disclosure introduces a display device for a vehicle, comprising: a fixing unit, a moving unit movably coupled to the fixing unit and configured to switch a state of the display device from a first state to a second state; and a display assembly coupled to the moving unit, configured to move together with the moving unit, and including a variable portion. The variable portion becomes flat in the first state and bent in the second state. The display assembly includes: a flexible display panel; a living hinge located on a rear surface of the flexible display panel and capable of being deformed corresponding to the bending of the variable portion; and a sheet coupled to a rear surface of the living hinge and configured to limit a maximum bending curvature of the variable portion while covering the grooves. The sheet is unfolded in the first state and is formed with wrinkles in the second state.
DISPLAY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Disclosed is a display device for a vehicle. The display device for the vehicle according to the present disclosure may include: a housing with one open side; a sliding assembly located in the housing and including a slider which is movable away from or toward the opening; a body located in the housing and fixed on the slider; and a display coupled to the body, and which is movable out of the housing through the opening, wherein the display may include: a flexible display panel; and a folding module which is located between the display panel and body, to which the display panel is coupled, and which is configured to bend or unfold the display panel.
Display Device
The present disclosure relates to a display device which includes a cover window; a display panel disposed under the cover window; at least one plate disposed under the display panel; a vibration bracket attached to a lower portion of the at least one plate; and a vibration film attached to a lower portion of the vibration bracket, wherein the vibration bracket includes a leg protruding upward. A leg structure of the vibration bracket can reinforce vibrations in a depth direction, and a bridge structure can reinforce vibrations in a planar direction. A user may experience an in-depth haptic response and sound. The display device according to the present disclosure may be applied to a display for a vehicle.
WINDSHIELD AND VISIBILITY IMPROVEMENTS FOR DRIVERS IN ADVERSE WEATHER AND LIGHTING CONDITIONS
A vehicle including a windshield, a flexible display screen, a flexible display screen attachment component, at least one processor, and at least one memory configured to store instructions is disclosed. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to (i) generate a set of images from sensor data received from one or more sensors mounted on a body of the vehicle; and (ii) display the set of images on the flexible display screen attached to the flexible display screen attachment component while covering the windshield. The set of images has effects of adverse weather conditions or poor lighting conditions removed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FOLDED DISPLAYS AND VIRTUAL DISPLAY SYSTEMS IN A VEHICLE
A display system and method for generating virtual images or light field images includes, in some embodiments, a display and a field-evolving cavity. The field-evolving cavity modulates the optical depth of the virtual image. In some embodiments, the display is a folded display. In some embodiments, the display system is integrated into a part of a vehicle and serves as an instrument cluster, navigation display, or entertainment center. Other components of the display system may be bent.
GLASS ARTICLE FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR SYSTEM HAVING A BENDABLE DISPLAY UNIT
A bendable glass article having a bendable display unit is disclosed. The glass article includes a glass sheet including a first major surface and a second major surface opposite to the first major surface. A hinge mechanism is disposed on the second major surface of the glass sheet. The hinge mechanism divides the glass sheet into a first side and a second side. A bendable display unit is bonded to the second major surface of the glass sheet and disposed between the glass sheet and the hinge mechanism. An adhesive material is disposed on the second major surface of the glass sheet around the display. The first side is bendable about the hinge mechanism relative to the second side, and the bendable display unit is hermetically sealed within the adhesive material.
Reconfigurable display system
A display system for a vehicle includes a projection screen having an adjustable opacity, a projector for projecting an image on the projection screen, and a controller in electrical communication with the projector. The controller is programmed to adjust the opacity of the projection screen and direct the projector to project the image on the projection screen.
Interactive Safety System for Vehicles
An interactive vehicle safety system having capabilities to improve peripheral vision, provide warning, and improve reaction time for operators of vehicles. For example, the interactive vehicle safety system may have capabilities for portraying objects, which are being blocked by any of the structural pillars and/or mirrors of a vehicle (such as a truck, van, train, etc.). The interactive vehicle safety system disclosed may comprise one or more image capturing devices (such as camera, sensor, laser), distance and object sensors (such as ultrasonic sensor, LIDAR radar sensor, photoelectric sensor, and infrared sensor), a real-time image processing of an object, and one or more display systems (such as LCD or LED displays). The interactive vehicle safety system may give a seamless 360-degree front panoramic view to a driver.
Display device for outputting pixel-based display content, carrier element for the display device, and motor vehicle having the display device
A display device to display content, comprising a display film to display the content; and a flexible carrier element including a rear side which bears the display film; and a rolling mechanism to allow at least a part of the display film and at least a part of the flexible carrier element to roll about a rolling-up axis so as to form a roll shape. The flexible carrier element is configured as a carrier film on which is configured a support structure that projects perpendicular from the carrier film and extends on a side of the carrier film facing away from the display film. The support structure has a plurality of cells open on one side and delimited on an opposite side by a cell base with cell sides delimited by cell walls projecting perpendicular where a cell wall is shared in pairs to thereby form a honeycomb structure.
Rollable display device for vehicle
