Optical Display and Transport Means
This application provides an optical display and a transport means. The optical display includes a housing, a light source unit, a transmissive-reflective optical element, and a curved mirror. The housing is provided with a first opening. The light source unit is fastened to the housing and is configured to emit imaging light. The transmissive-reflective optical element is fastened to the housing, covers the first opening, and is configured to: transmit and reflect the imaging light. The curved mirror is fastened to the housing and is configured to reflect the imaging light. The imaging light emitted by the light source unit is reflected to the curved mirror through the transmissive-reflective optical element, and the curved mirror transmits the imaging light to the outside of the housing through the transmissive-reflective optical element.
Method for influencing light beams in the interior of a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle for carrying out the method and mirror bank for such a motor vehicle
A method for influencing light beams in the interior of a motor vehicle. The light beams come from the direction of a mirror bank associated with a head-up display. Different approaches are provided for providing an enhanced display option and simultaneously reducing a dazzling of a vehicle occupant by unwanted reflections. The light beams are generated in the mirror bank, wherein some of the generated light beams are blocked in the region of the mirror bank in such a way that a particular keep-clear region is created into which reflected light beams can no longer enter, or generated light beams in the region of the mirror bank are directed without reflection onto a particular viewing region, or the generated light beams in the region of the mirror bank are polarised and only such polarised portions of the light beams that cause no or only negligible reflections exit the mirror bank.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE AND ILLUMINATION UNIT FOR HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
An illumination unit includes a plurality of sets of illumination modules each having a light source placed at a conjugate position and a plurality of stages of condenser lenses that collect light from the light source toward a display device, a magnifying optical system being between the conjugate position and a viewing area. Each illumination module set includes an initial stage lens as a condenser lens closest to the light source and a final stage lens as a condenser lens farthest from the light source. In each illumination module set, assuming a composite focal point of a composite lens combined from all stages of condenser lenses, a gap between a principal plane of the initial stage lens and the light source is set to be equal to or less than a gap between the principal plane and the composite focal point.
PORTABLE HEAD-UP DISPLAY FOR VEHICLE USE
A head-up display device comprises a cradle assembly and a stand assembly. The cradle assembly is configured to support a portable electronic device having a display. The stand assembly is configured to mount on a dashboard of a vehicle. The cradle assembly includes a platform and a combiner configured to at least partially reflect an output of the display of the portable electronic device. The combiner is pivotally connected to the platform using at least one combiner holder. The stand assembly includes a base and a pivot joint connected to the base and arranged substantially over the upper surface of the base. The stand assembly also has a coupler attached to the pivot joint and configured to releasably connect the cradle assembly with the stand assembly. The lower surface of the base may include a repositionable adhesive layer for coupling to the dashboard.
ARRANGEMENT FOR OPENING AND CLOSING AN OPENING IN AN INTERIOR TRIM PIECE OF A VEHICLE
An arrangement for opening and closing an opening in a covering surface of an interior trim piece in a vehicle by means of an adjustable cover element in the form of a flat element. The cover element is movably mounted on a frame element that is connected to the interior trim piece. A rotational or pivoting movement of two pivoted levers that are pivotably mounted in bearing cheeks of the frame element is converted into a translational movement of the cover element. The cover element is urged into a defined path by a shaft penetrating bearing blocks of the cover element and by two toothed wheels which are located at the free ends of the shaft and each of which meshes with a first rack located on the bearing cheek.
Head-up display apparatus
A head-up display apparatus includes light emission units, a first reflection unit, a second reflection unit, a first diffusion unit, a second diffusion unit, and a driver unit. The light emission units are disposed along one end surface of an upper or lower end surface of a combiner, and emit light. The first reflection unit is disposed to a part of the light emission units, and reflects the light. The second reflection unit is disposed to a part of the light emission units, and reflects the light. The first diffusion unit is disposed in the first side end surface, and diffuses the light. The second diffusion unit is disposed in the second side end surface, and diffuses the light. The driver unit selectively drives one of the light emission unit, and causes to emit the light. The combiner includes an invisible region.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display unit is equipped with an LED circuit body for irradiating light onto the windshield of a vehicle and a surface panel positioned on the front side in the light irradiating direction of the LED circuit body and constituting part of the surface of the instrument panel of the vehicle. The surface panel is provided with a plurality of pores formed in the direction connecting the LED circuit body to the windshield. The light irradiating direction of the LED circuit body is set to the direction in which the light irradiated from the LED circuit body and reflected by the windshield is visually recognized by the driver.
DISPLAY DEVICE
An HUD unit is equipped with a first display and a second display. The light irradiating directions of the first display and the second display are adjusted so that the first image irradiated from the first display, reflected by the front window of a vehicle and visually recognized by the driver of the vehicle and the second image irradiated from the second display to the eye point of the driver and visually recognized by the driver are visually recognized in a state of being arranged side by side.
MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR HEAD UP DISPLAY
A large-sized head up display unit can be reasonably provided in an inner portion of an instrument panel. A column bracket to mount a steering column (5) is provided at a lower portion of a vehicle body strength member (4) extending in a vehicle width direction disposed in a vehicle rear side of a front wall panel (1) of a vehicle interior. A head up display unit (21) is mounted on the column bracket to be movable to a vehicle upward direction by an emergency input load from a vehicle front direction.
DISPLAY DEVICE, VEHICLE
A display device is for displaying a virtual image in front of a driver of a vehicle. The display device includes a detecting unit that receives light surrounding the vehicle, and detects a brightness of the received light; a restricting unit that restricts an angle of the received light; a correcting unit that adjusts a luminance of a display image, according to the detected brightness of the light; and a displaying unit that superimposes and displays the display image on a field of vision of the driver as the virtual image, based on the adjusted luminance. The restricting unit includes two opening restricting elements arranged on a front side of the detecting unit, such that an angle 2 at which the detecting unit receives the light is restricted according to an angle 1 formed by light beams directed from the virtual image toward eyes of the driver.
