DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
The disclosures relates to a display system for a vehicle that includes a screen with two unique and opposite curved portions, integrally provided with each other, and a projection surface. A surface of the screen is bent in such a manner that at least one curved surface and a second curved surface are formed. The first curved surface on which information can be displayed is arranged aligned in the direction of an observer. The second curved surface is constructed in such a manner that information to be displayed on the second curved surface so that it can be projected in the direction of the at least one projection surface. The projection surface is at a distance from the second curved surface and is arranged so that it can be seen behind the screen (2) by the observer in the direction of the view of the observer.
SCREEN DEVICE AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
Provided are a screen device and a head-up display device which allow the quality of a display image to be improved. The head-up display device comprises a screen device, a display for emitting projection light, and a focus position adjustment unit for receiving projection light emitted from the display, changing the distance to a focus position for at least a portion of the incident projection light, and adjusting the projection light to have different distances to a focus position. The screen device is provided with a light shielding part preventing first display light emitted from a first display image from reaching a second screen. The head-up display device emits the first display light from the first display image displayed on a first screen and second display light from a second display image displayed on the second screen, and displays the two display images, as virtual images through a windshield, the second display light being prevented from mixing with second projection light projected onto the second screen.
VEHICLE PROJECTION SYSTEM
The present technology relates to a vehicle projection system comprising a light source configured to provide an output beam. A light splitting device is coupled to the light source to receive the output beam. Two or more optical fibers are coupled to the light splitting device to receive a split output beam from the light splitting device. Two or more projector devices are coupled to the two or more optical fibers. The two or more projector devices are configured to provide one or more display images using light received from the split output beam on one or more display surfaces in a vehicle. A vehicle including the vehicle projection system and a method of providing display images at a plurality of locations in a vehicle are also disclosed.
Vehicle having an adjustable display screen
A vehicle has a display screen designed to be moved between an observation position and a reflection position. The display screen has a display screen surface, wherein, when in the observation position, the display screen surface can be directly observed by a user of the vehicle from a user position of the vehicle. The vehicle has a reflecting surface, wherein, in the reflecting position, the display screen surface faces the reflecting surface such that an image displayed on the display screen surface generates a mirror image on the reflecting surface, which mirror image is visible to a user of the vehicle from the user position of the vehicle.
Display control system using knobs
A display control system includes an input unit to receive position information of a knob, a memory to store a display control program in relation to a position of the knob, and a processor to execute the display control program to change a display of content in a display in consideration of the position information of the knob in relation to movement of the knob.
Display device, and display method therefor
This display device is provided with a display unit, a beam splitter, and a first mirror. The display unit emits a first image and a second image. The beam splitter has, incident thereon, the first image and the second image which are emitted from the display unit. The beam splitter transmits the incident first image and reflects the incident second image to project the first image and the second image on a display medium. The first mirror has, incident thereon, the first image which has been transmitted through the beam splitter. The first mirror reflects the incident first image to project the first image on the display medium.
Vehicle information display systems
A vehicle information display system and an instrument panel assembly configured to project vehicle information onto the windshield or on a meter panel is provided. The information display system and the instrument panel assembly utilizes a single electronic display to either display vehicle information on the meter panel or to project vehicle information onto the windshield so as to reduce the number of components needed to perform both functions, and thus reduce packaging space. The electronic display and a first panel are rotatably mounted to the first display opening so as to alternatively cover the first display opening, wherein in a first mode of operation the electronic display is disposed within the first display opening and in a second mode of operation the first panel is disposed within the opening and the vehicle information is projected onto the windshield.
Vehicle display apparatus including capacitive and light-based input sensors
A vehicle display apparatus includes a display, a plurality of light emitting units provided in the periphery of the display, a plurality of light receiving units provided in the periphery of the display, and a processor configured to calculate a position of an approaching external object based on levels of light signals received by the plurality of light receiving units. The plurality of light emitting units sequentially emits light, the plurality of light receiving units sequentially receives light in correspondence with sequential light emission of the plurality of light emitting units, and the processor calculates the position of the external object based on the levels of the light signals received by the plurality of light receiving units in correspondence with sequential light emission of the plurality of light emitting units. Accordingly, it is possible to stably detect the position of the external object positioned in front of the display.
DISPLAY CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD
The invention relates to a display control apparatus (1) for dynamically controlling the display of information in a vehicle (3). The display control apparatus (1) comprises a controller (12) having at least one electronic processor (13). The at least one electronic processor (13) is configured to control first and second displays (4, 5). In dependence on a determined gaze direction of the vehicle driver, the at least one electronic processor (13) controls a switching module (16) to cause a first information data set (INF1) displayed on said first display (4) to be displayed on said second display (5). The present invention also relates to a method of controlling the display of information in a vehicle (3). One aim is to shift the driver's view back to the road.
Information playback system and method for information playback
An information playback system in a vehicle having a processor designed to generate a video or control signal and provide this signal to a display device so that the video or control signal causes a playback of at least two different contents in two adjoining subsurfaces of a display surface in a display device. The processor generates the video or control signal so that a boundary between the two subsurfaces can be shifted based on a selection detected by the display unit, or based on an approach detected by a display unit, or based on a predefined movement detected by an input device, resulting in modification of the ratio of the surface portions of the two subsurfaces on the display surface of the display device.
