Control device, vehicle steering wheel and method for operating a control device
A control device for a vehicle steering wheel (10) has a closed, touch-sensitive, preferably three-dimensionally shaped sensor surface (20), at least two mechanical switching elements (22) which are arranged below the sensor surface (20) and can be actuated by deforming the sensor surface (20), the touch-sensitive sensor surface (20) being designed to be so flexible that the mechanical switching elements (22) can be actuated separately, and a change-over switch (24) which can activate and/or deactivate the mechanical switching elements (22) and/or the touch-sensitive sensor surface (20).
DISPLAY DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING AT LEAST ONE SYMBOL, SWITCHING DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device (100) for displaying at least one symbol has a translucent cover layer (210), a symbol layer (213) having a translucent symbol panel (216) for a symbol that is to be displayed by the display device (100), and an opaque surface (214) encompassing the symbol panel (216). The symbol panel (216) is disposed such that it is spaced apart from the cover layer (210) by a gap (226). A waveguide assembly (228) is formed in order to conduct light (232) onto a side of the symbol panel (216) facing away from the cover layer (210).
Illuminated pointer instrument for a motor vehicle
A pointer needle for an indication device of a motor vehicle has a transparent optical waveguide that receives light propagating along a direction of propagation at a light-entry side, and emits the light in an emission direction at a light-exit side. The optical waveguide has a scattering side opposite to the light-exit side, the scattering side having steps arranged offset to one another across the propagation direction. When the steps are irradiated by light, the pointer needle provided in the indication device can clearly be perceived in the dark.
Meter device which uses a central and peripheral light source
A meter device includes an instrument panel, a coaxial motor, a central light source, a peripheral light source, and units. The coaxial motor includes rotation shafts which rotate around a single axis perpendicular to the instrument panel. The central light source is disposed near the rotation shafts. The peripheral light source is disposed more distantly from the rotation shafts than the central light source. The units rotate together with the rotation shafts, respectively. The units includes indicator parts, respectively. Each of the indicator parts guides light to emit the light, thereby indicating a surface of the instrument panel. The units include a first unit and a second unit. The first unit includes a light path which guides light from the central light source to the indicator part. The second unit includes a light path which guides light from the peripheral light source to the indicator part, and a non-light guide part that prevents the light of the central light source from being guided to the indicator part.
Instrument panel meter
An instrument panel meter including a flexible face and a pointer. The flexible face includes indicators configured to convey information to a user regarding operation of the vehicle. The pointer is beneath the flexible face, and is movable between an inactive position and an active position. In the inactive position, the pointer does not stretch the flexible face. In the active position, the pointer does stretch the flexible face at or proximate to one of the indicators so as to convey information to the user regarding operation of the vehicle.
STEREOSCOPIC DISPLAY DEVICE AND DASHBOARD USING THE SAME
Provided is a stereoscopic display device, including: a base member transmitting an incident beam; and a three-dimensional effect forming part on a first surface of the base member, wherein the three-dimensional effect forming part has a pattern, the pattern having multiple pattern units arranged in a concentric circular, elliptical or polygonal radial form, each of the pattern units having an inclined surface having an inclination angle with respect to the first surface, and wherein when an incident beam is incident to a central portion of the pattern, the pattern guides the incident beam in a first surface direction toward which the first surface looks or a second surface direction toward which a second surface opposite to the first surface looks, thereby displaying a line-shaped beam having a three-dimensional effect in a first path resulting a pattern arrangement direction.

Stereoscopic display device and dashboard using the same
Provided is a stereoscopic display device, including: a base substrate transmitting an incident beam; and a three-dimensional effect forming part on a first surface of the base substrate, wherein the three-dimensional effect forming part has a pattern, the pattern having multiple pattern units arranged in a concentric circular, elliptical or polygonal radial form, each of the pattern units having an inclined surface having an inclination angle with respect to the first surface, and wherein when an incident beam is incident to a central portion of the pattern, the pattern guides the incident beam in a first surface direction toward which the first surface looks or a second surface direction toward which a second surface opposite to the first surface looks, thereby displaying a line-shaped beam having a three-dimensional effect in a first path resulting a pattern arrangement direction.
HOLOGRAPHIC STYLING
An instrument panel for a motor vehicle is provided. The instrument panel includes an instrument panel surface and a plurality of indicia disposed on the instrument panel surface. The plurality of indicia comprises holographic ink.
