Mobile Health and Weight Management System
A weight management system for use by vehicle operators. A set of seats measuring devices to measure the weight of a user, or a set of user weights. The system then suggests exercises and diets to assist in weight management. Additionally the system can take a variety of pulmonary readings through the steering wheel and can send alerts if dangerous levels are found. The system can also be used to display various advertisements for fitness and dietary companies. The system is also designed to monitor when a user enters an unhealthy food venue and alert the user of numerous healthier choices within a designated radius.
OCCUPANT DETECTION METHOD AND OCCUPANT DETECTION APPARATUS
An occupant detection method includes detecting a load applied to a seat for a vehicle, detecting that an occupant is seated at the seat, holding a local maximum of the load which is detected when the occupant becomes seated, setting a standard value of the load in a state in which the occupant is seated at the seat, and estimating a body height of the occupant on the basis of a comparison between the local maximum of the load and the standard value of the load, wherein when the body height of the occupant is estimated, the larger a difference between the local maximum of the load and the standard value of the load is, the higher body height of the occupant is estimated.
Passenger identification device including bidirectional error moment absorption structure
Disclosed is a passenger identification device including: a weight sensor assembled to a seat of a vehicle, sensing a weight of a passenger and including a stud unit that protrudes upward; a base bracket positioned on the top of the weight sensor and mediating mounting of the weight sensor; an upper damper and a lower damper contacting the top and the bottom of the base bracket, respectively to absorb an error moment; and an upper sleeve and a lower sleeve positioned on the top of the upper damper and the bottom of the lower damper, respectively and used to fix the position of the damper and protect the damper.
Occupant determination apparatus
An occupant determination apparatus includes a load sensor that detects weight of an occupant seated on a seat of a vehicle, and a determinator determining the weight of the occupant as one status among a plurality of statuses which is set corresponding to the weight based on the measurement weight measured by the load sensor. In a case where an absolute value of acceleration acting on the vehicle becomes equal to or larger than the threshold value set in advance, the determinator determines the weight of the occupant as one of the status among the plurality of statuses based on the measurement weight measured before it becomes the threshold value.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF IN-VEHICLE INFOTAINMENT AND DEVICE THEREOF
Disclosed are a method for controlling the operation of in-vehicle infotainment and device thereof, the method includes: detecting whether a passenger sits on the non-driver's seat, if the passenger sits on the non-driver's seat, running the corresponding in-vehicle infotainment to provide service; and detecting whether the passenger sitting on the non-driver's seat shifts, if the passenger sitting on the non-driver's seat shifts, closing the corresponding in-vehicle infotainment to stop providing service. By adopting the method and device provided by embodiments of the present disclosure, it may run the corresponding in-vehicle infotainment automatically to provide service when there is a passenger on the non-driver's seat, and add the entertainment for passengers in the ride; besides, when the passenger gets off the vehicle midway or shifts to another seat, it may close the corresponding in-vehicle infotainment to stop providing service automatically, thus saves the quantity of electricity and reduces oil wear.
Car Seat Occupancy Alert System
A car seat occupancy alert system includes an occupancy sensor imbedded in or positioned atop the seat portion of an infant car seat in a vehicle. The alert system includes an engine sensor configured to detect when a vehicle engine has been turned off. The occupancy sensor may be electrically connected to a controller (e.g. a control circuit or process). When the engine is deactivated, the controller determines if the car seat is still occupied after a predetermined time and, at first, energizes a dash light as a gentle reminder for the driver to retrieve the child and, later, actuates more aggressive audio and visual alarms to alert the driver and public to a child left in the vehicle. The alert system also provides an interrupt so that a user can add additional time before an alarm is actuated.
Baby alert car seat alarm - smart car seat
The Baby Alert Car Seat AlarmSmart Car Seat, is a device or smart car seat that detects the presence of a baby or child placed, or secured in a car seat, within the vehicle, before and after the driver of the vehicle has reached his/her destination; and, after the ignition is turned off, alerts the driver of the vehicle that the baby or child remains place or secured in a car seat within the vehicle; or, once the baby or child is placed, or secured in a car seat, within the vehicle, if the ignition is not turned on within a preset time, the Baby Alert Car Seat AlarmSmart Car Seat will alert the driver of the vehicle that a baby or child remains placed or secured in a car seat within the vehicle.
OCCUPANT DECISION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Load sensors are disposed on four corners of a seat cushion. An occupant decision section of an occupant detection ECU decides a type of an occupant on a vehicle seat based on loads detected by the load sensors. A CRS changing section that prohibits the occupant decision section from changing a decision to a decision result that an adult is seated in the vehicle seat and changes the decision to a decision result that a child seat is attached on the vehicle seat when an engagement of a tongue plate with a buckle of a seat belt device is detected by a buckle switch and a buckle load calculated by buckle load calculation section is less than a predetermined buckling load threshold in a case where the occupant decision section decides that an adult is seated in the vehicle seat.
Method for operating a vehicle seat device, vehicle seat device
A method for operating a vehicle seat device for motor vehicles, which has a vehicle seat with a seat part and a backrest, associated with the seat part, and at least one actuator which is associated with the seat part and/or the backrest and by means of which the vehicle seat can be brought automatically into a sitting position and into a reclining position, wherein the movement takes place as a function of a desired position that can be specified by a user and of at least one detectable vehicle seat state. It is provided that a current temperature is monitored as the vehicle seat state and that if the monitored temperature falls below a limit temperature, the vehicle seat is brought into a sitting position or left in a current sitting position regardless of the desired position.
Cushioned pad apparatus to indicate and alert presence of an unattended occupant within a vehicle
A cushioned device configured to prevent an occupant of a vehicle from being left unattended. The device includes a cushioned pad with a pressure sensor, a dongle, and an optimal application for receiving a pressure signal detected by the cushioned device. The application and dongle capable of generating an audible noise and associated notifications when a predetermined distance between the cushioned portion and the dongle and/or application is too great indicating that the object on the cushioned pad is now unattended. Accordingly, this system utilizes the proximity of companion devices and detected pressure signal to determine unattended occupancy in a confined space.
