Brake plate assembly for a drag mechanism of a fishing reel
A brake plate assembly in a drag mechanism of a fishing reel includes a first brake plate and a second brake plate. The first brake plate has a first bonding surface. The second brake plate has a second bonding surface bonded to the first bonding surface, and has greater wear resistance than that of the first brake plate.
Movable hood for reel seat, reel seat, and fishing rod including same
A movable hood for a reel seat has a hood portion and a nut portion. A body of a reel seat passes through the hood portion. The hood portion is movable in a longitudinal direction of the body. The nut portion is connected to the hood portion to rotate around the body and is threadedly coupled to an outer peripheral surface of the body at an inner peripheral surface. The hood portion has a base end facing the nut portion and a leading end located opposite the base end. When viewing the hood portion from side, a length of an upper side of the hood portion from the base end to the leading end is longer than a length of a lower side of the hood portion from the base end to the leading end, and an upper contour of the hood portion has an upward convex curve line.
Dual-bearing reel
A dual-bearing reel includes a reel body, a spool rotatably held between side plates, and a brake unit configured to brake the spool. The brake unit includes a cover portion, a first regulator and a second regulator. The cover portion has a first circumferential part and a second circumferential part, and is mounted to the reel body. The first regulator and the second regulator are covered with the cover portion. The first circumferential part has a first opening exposing at least a part of the first regulator therethrough, whereas the second circumferential part has a second opening exposing at least a part of the second regulator therethrough. The reel body has a first restriction part covering the first opening.
Fishing reel
One object is to provide a fishing reel including a magnetic fluid sealed bearing wherein foreign substances are shut out from the magnetic fluid seal to prevent degradation of the magnetic fluid (degradation of the magnetic sealing function). In accordance with one aspect, the fishing reel of the present invention includes a magnetic fluid sealed bearing rotatably supporting a drive shaft (pinion). Protection walls are disposed opposite to each other on or near the sides of the bearing body so as to shut out foreign substances from the bearing body of the magnetic fluid sealed bearing.
Level winding mechanism for dual-bearing reel
A level winding mechanism for a dual-bearing reel includes a worm shaft, a guide member and a slide member. The guide member has a tubular shape and is disposed radially outside of the worm shaft. The slide member has a first through hole and an accommodation recess. The first through hole enables the guide member to penetrate therethrough. The accommodation recess is formed on the inner surface of the first through hole. The slide member is configured to slide along the guide member.
Torque limiting device for fishing reel
A torque limiting device includes a shaft member that is rotatable by torque, a first cam portion, a second cam portion and an urging member. The first cam portion is rotatably mounted to the shaft member. The second cam portion is mounted to the shaft member so as to be unitarily rotatable therewith and be movable along an axial direction of the shaft member. The second cam portion is configured to enable torque transmission between the first cam portion and the second cam portion when engaged with the first cam portion so as to be unitarily rotatable therewith. Additionally, the second cam portion is configured to disable torque transmission between the first cam portion and the second cam portion when disengaged and separated away from the first cam portion along the axial direction. The urging member urges the second cam portion toward the first cam portion.
ROTATION TRANSMISSION MECHANISM FOR SPINNING REEL
A rotation transmission mechanism includes a drive shaft, a drive gear, a pinion gear, a first bearing, and a positioning structure. The drive shaft is rotatable with respect to a chassis. The drive gear is unitarily rotatable with the drive shaft. The pinion gear is rotatably mounted to the chassis and disposed in a skew direction to the drive shaft, the pinion gear meshed with the drive gear. The first bearing is mounted to the chassis, is disposed between the chassis and the drive shaft, and rotatably supports the drive shaft. The positioning structure is mounted to an end of the drive shaft, and positions the drive shaft with respect to the first bearing.
FISHING SPINNING REEL
An abutting member for returning comprises a bearing that a rotational movement shaft is inserted into, a projection portion that projects from the bearing in a radially outward direction, and a protrusion portion that protrudes from the projection portion in an axial direction of the rotational movement shaft. The projection portion comprises a first abutting portion that abuts onto a guide in the first half of a rotational movement of the abutting member for returning. The protrusion portion comprises a second abutting portion that abuts onto the guide in the latter half of a rotational movement of the abutting member for returning. The guide comprises a first guide face that the first abutting portion abuts onto, and a second guide face that the second abutting portion abuts onto. A length L1 from a center of swinging of the guide to the first guide face and a length L2 from the center to the second guide face satisfy a relationship of L1>L2.
FISHING SPINNING REEL
A fishing spinning reel comprises a line roller that guides a fishing line to a spool around which the fishing line is wound and held. The line roller comprises a roller that is rotatably provided in a shaft portion with bearings interposed therebetween. The roller comprises: a fishing line guiding portion that is disposed on a side of a bail support member, and guides the fishing line to the spool; a fishing line leading portion that is formed to have a diameter that is greater than the diameter of the fishing line guiding portion, and leads the fishing line to the fishing line guiding portion; and a fishing line regulating portion that is disposed between the fishing line guiding portion and the fishing line leading portion to be inclined, and regulates a movement of the fishing line in an axial direction of the shaft portion.
